I don't typically leave negative reviews. However, after much speculation, I figured it'd be worthwhile to share my experience with the hope that no one else receives this level of dissatisfaction. I came to Millennium Wellness to seek treatment for my shoulder pain. I was optimistic at first since the location was convenient and the staff was kind and welcoming. I had also read great reviews and was looking forward to making progress and putting an end to my shoulder pain. I had seen Dr. Stotts and after three sessions with her, I thought she was mediocre at best. Her lackluster attitude and minimal effort in treating me is what led me to discontinue seeking treatment from Millennium Wellness. The first two sessions, we had done a handful exercises (band stretches and shoulder shrugs) Outside of therapy, I was doing my exercises, as recommended, on the daily for two weeks. None of the exercises really addressed the problem area in my shoulder. The third session, Dr. Stotts recommended a "hands-on" session, since she realized the exercises weren't improving my pain. During this 20 minute session, it felt as if Dr. Stotts was exerting minimal energy into working/massaging my shoulder. She seemed bored and was yawning every minute. Even while she was talking to me, she was yawning between sentences. I thought to myself, "Wow, she must've gotten NO sleep. Should I get her a coffee, perhaps wake her up so I can get some serious work done on my shoulder?!" I understand being tired and having a long day; however, as a patient receiving treatment, I was discouraged by this kind of bedside manner. Unfortunately, I've seen/felt no progress in the status of my shoulder and am in more pain now than I was when I first walked in. As such, I will be searching for a new physical therapist in hopes that I can get the proper treatment I need to fully rehabilitate and heal my shoulder. read more

I was referred to Millennium Wellness Group by my best friend. I typically pay no mind but, I must say my buddy is 99.9% correct which I won't admit to. I've been experiencing some lower back pains and visited this establishment. Upon arrival I was greeted at the front desk by a lovely young lady named Allison. I was a tad bit hesitant cause of COVID-19 but my BACK!!! wasn't. The office was in pristine condition. I had several sessions with a message therapist's and chiropractors throughout the week. Dr. Beverlyn was my first session she was extremely... nice. I felt like I knew her all my life. She was gentle, attentive, knowledgeable, took her time answering any questions, explained my condition in detail. My second session was with Dr. Stotts again, carbon copy of my first experience. I am truly grateful for how I was treated. This place is top notch they go above and beyond to make you feel better. This is a GEM... among jewelers row. Easy to get to via train or parking valet. I have been going to Millenium Wellness for over 10 years. I was pregnant and having lower back pain and the PT I received from Dr Stotts and the prenatal massages were really great for me and managing the pain. When I was pregnant with my second I returned to MWG to get adjusted by Dr Beverlin and continue the massages which were amazing. Recently, I returned to the practice to address some jaw pain I was having from TMJ. I had seen dentists, physical therapists, surgeons, and TMJ specialists to find out ways to relieve the pain. Dr Beverlin told me she could adjust my jaw and I went to see her and it did wonders. I feel so much better and it's the only thing that really makes my jaw feel better and the neck and shoulder massages help as well. I highly recommend them! read more

I was so happy to find a Chiropractor so close to my work with such great reviews. I told her I was having pain in my lower back and she cracked my back a couple times and sent me to get a massage. At first I thought it was great, but over the next couple of weeks I was showing no improvement and paying out the wazoo for chiropractic treatment and for the massages (which they pressure you to get even when you decline them) I told her that I was still in pain and she accused me on not doing the exercises (which I had been doing) and told me my stomach muscles were to weak and that is why I was having problems. She again pressured me to get massages thru them, and I finally had to tell her I couldn't afford to pay for weekly massages that don't help me. A little while later, after going to a real doctor I found out I had a herniated disc. So in essence if you don't have a serious problem, this place would be great for you. But if you do have a serious problem stay away from this lady who will tell you to do crunches.... read more

Although I have seen other chiropractors in the past, Dr. Tanya Freseth is by far the best. Dr. Freseth is very friendly and an excellent chiropractor. During the first visit she put all my fears and doubts to rest. She recommended several exercises, stretches and things I could do at home to help alleviate my pain, and she gave me an adjustment that made me feel instantly loose. I can't recommend her highly enough, especially if you're a skeptic or afraid of adjustments. She will make you a believer. In addition, one of my favorite things about Millenium Wellness is that no one there has ever pressured me to buy anything. My previous Michigan Ave chiropractor appeared to be under the influence of guru's and drugs and tried to sell me all kinds of oddities. It is always a pleasure to go in there, her regular adjustments are quick, hands-on, and very effective. She is not into any of that hocus-pocus energy stuff that you'll see some other chiropractors do. And they don't try to sell you things you don't need. After seeing Dr. Freseth, I always feel relaxed and renewed when leaving. I give her and the practice my highest recommendation. read more

This is a great place for medical one stop shopping. I originally came to see Dr Jen, the chiropractor. I picked them solely based on proximity to my office, and preferred provider by my insurance company. Dr Jen is awesome, she is like a shaman. You go in with pain, and she takes it away. I do not have chronic problems, just periodic back pain related to stress mostly. It is easy to get an appointment, and her massage therapists are fantastic, Steve is my favorite. I have also started seeing Dr Klarquist who is an internal medicine doc. Also very nice, knowledgeable, pragmatic, and not interested in loading you up with a bunch of tests you don't really need. read more

I have always been one of those people who jokingly referred to chiropractors as "witch drs." However, based on my experience with MW I take it back! I went in to see Dr. Beverlin for hip and knee pain after she was referred by a friend. Her treatments have helped me tremendously and I always leave feeling great. Admittedly I have almost broken down in tears from the therapeutic massage but the lasting relief is worth it. After a month I am only going now for occasional adjustments. I cannot say enough about Dr Beverlin and her amazing team of massage therapists! I've been going to this office for years. Initially, I had mild back problems and Dr Beverlin gave me a few adjustments (followed by massage therapy) and a sheet of exercises/stretches to do at home. Years later, I threw out my back shoveling snow and went back for adjustments and massage therapy. In 2011, I went back experiencing atypical migraines (migraines without the headache - with nausea, aura, etc). Dr Beverlin adjusted my back, neck, and ears (sometimes my hip); followed by massage therapy. She was the first to realize my symptoms seemed triggered by stress and weather. The adjustments really help with the migraines, as well as keep my back from injury. I've always HATED getting massages. I never understood why people said they were "relaxing" when I found them at least uncomfortable, often painful. Dr Jen's massage therapists are fantastic. Just the right amount of pressure that they are really helping, but not so much as to be miserable. Dr Jen and all the massage therapists, and the receptionist are very friendly and pleasant. I've never had to wait long. I've seen Dr Tanya when Dr Jen has been out and she's wonderful as well. Seriously, GO. This is a great team and they'll take fantastic care of you. read more

I looove this place. They really do take care of me here. I have a bad shoulder from sitting at a desk all day. I have spasms frequently and I also have flat feet. Jen has taken care of that. First she is going to do analysis of your back and try to figure out what is causing them pain and if anything you can change from your everyday lifestyle that you can change. If I could get my back adjusted everyweek I so would. She also got me fitted for orthotics. The rest of the staff is also very friendly. I also get massage therapy for my back. The last two massages have been the best I have ever had. They are only 30 minute massages but they will focus on the area of your back that is bothering you. It's not a place where it is tranquil and beautiful. The train tracks are right there so if you looking for a super relaxing experience...head to a spa. This is straight up theapy. At my last job my insurance was awesome so I could go whenever I want. Now this all out of my own pocket but jen is willing to york with your budget if she things you should be in to see her. I have been a patient at Millennimum Wellness for the past six years. Before I moved to Chicago I received regular chiropractic care for persistent neck and shoulder problems, but I had never had an adjustment followed by a deep tissue massage. I came to Millennium Wellness, seeking treatment for some debilitating back pain that flared up midway through my pregnancy. The pain was so bad that standing and sitting was painful and my right thigh was numb. I'd never been to a chiropractor before so I didn't know what to expect, but within five minutes of meeting Dr. Jen I knew I was in good hands. She was able to pinpoint the issue and start treating it right away. Within 2.5 weeks, I was feeling back to myself. Dr. Jen is outstanding. I've always had back issues and have been to a chiropractor before but wasn't impressed. I decided it was time to try it again because my back was really aching. Within the initial exam she was able to pinpoint a troubled area that I didn't realize contributed to the entirety of why my back was hurting. She sat with me and explained in detail why and what was contributing to my pain. She also gave me pointers and examples on what to do on my own as well followed by a full adjustment. I then saw one of their massage therapist who was incredibly sweet and accommodating with pressure, issue areas, etc.. After my massage I still had a twinge in my back and Dr.Jen took the time to re-adjust me without hesitation. I highly recommend Dr. Jen and her team! read more

I was recently on a business trip to Chicago and woke up with the worst migraine, EVER! I even tried taking morphine to reduce the pain but it didn't help. I Yelped chiropractors near me and called MWG to explain my situation. Even though I mentioned that this would be a one time appointment, I was treated with so much professionalism from beginning to end. I saw Dr. Tanya Freseth and I have to say she is an outstanding individual. After her adjustment, I felt tons better and was able to return to work with no problem. The only disappointment I have about this group is that they are not located in San Francisco. If I ever need a good reason to return to Chicago, MWG would be it for sure! I wanted to write a review because I thought I was selfishly keeping my secret chiropractic weapon to myself and not sharing with the world..but now that I've come on Yelp I see that there are fellow devoted fans of Dr. Jennifer Beverlin! I decided I needed to see a chiropractor when the dull pain in my shoulder and neck that I have suffered from for years escalated and started giving me headaches and tension in my jaw. Millenium Wellness Group was in network so I thought I would call and inquire about the rates. I had never spoken with a more helpful staff! They called my insurance company for me and got back to me with my exact co-pay, all while being super friendly. The office is conveniently located in the loop and easy to get to during lunch or after work if you work downtown. Additionally, they are flexible with appointment scheduling and try to fit you in with what works with your schedule, instead of just telling you that you have to be there at 10am on a random weekday (my experience at other doctors' offices). You immediately feel so welcome going into the office, and it honestly just feels like the staff is one big happy family! (Another thing I want to mention is that there is never any wait. If you make an appointment at 515PM, you will be seen at 515 PM. Punctuality is a rarity at the doctors' offices these days!) Okay before I ramble on too much, let's get to Dr. Beverlin...AHHHHHH-MAZING! Not only does she have great bedside manner - immediately making you feel comfortable and showing genuine concern for you, she's great at what she does. A quick examination and she can tell me what pain I feel - and she is 100% right. Her adjustments are fantastic and my pain is immediately alleviated. Her personality is great too, fun to talk to and joke around with! I think that the massage therapy is part of the treatment for everyone, but i'm not 100% sure. Every time I go, I always get massage therapy as part of my appointment. It usually lasts about 30-45 minutes and it is great relief for the muscles that give me pain. The massage therapists are all super professional and are good at what they do. My back and neck have never felt better - and the massages are much more effective than the $200 massages that spas offer. read more

This place is a godsend to office workers who sit in bad chairs all day. Dr. Jen knows what she is doing and gets to the crux of your issue right away. I don't know how she figures it out so quickly. I am sooooooo happy with my visit this morning for these two main reasons A) everyone spoke English and B) they got me right in when I didn't have an apt- I have a kidney infection and over the weekend I was in some serious pain, so today I had to find a Dr. ASAP-I looked through my insurance list and this place was on it, the receptionst gave me a time to come in but I couldn't make it and they had nothing else available-She asked what I needed to see a Dr. for and I mentioned I'm positive I have a kidney infection, she told me to get to their office as soon as possible and the Dr. would see me- I get there and filled out my forms, gave my insurance over and Dr. Klarquist himself came and brought me back to examination room-He was very nice, quick and made me want to come back to this office for any problems I have in the future- He slid me in when he didn't have too and I really appreciated it-I've been here in Chicago since 2002 and this is the first office that I felt they knew what they were doing, receptionist didn't have an attiude and I didn't feel gross sitting in the waiting room- Thank you Dr. Klarquist for seeing me when I didn't have an appt, as well to the receptionist who was so nice to me over the phone-There have been so many times at other places where even being very sick they wouldn't see me, make me sit in the waiting room forever or truly didn't care what was wrong with me, this will be my new Dr's office- read more

They have PTs on staff that work the muscles in tandem with the manipulations that helps beyond anything I could ever expect. Hmmm... I'm not convinced. I went to this place as it has great reviews and I had back pain and I'm not sure it helped me at all. I had Dr. Freseth (Chiropractor) and Dr. Stotts (Physical Therapist)- they will recommend both to work in conjunction with each other if needed- and they were somewhat friendly, but not overly-so. Also, this place is like a factory- clients are constantly coming in and out- equals they make big revenues here. This was my first and only experience at a chiropractor and I came in as a skeptic and after Millennium Wellness, I am still a bit of a skeptic. Massage therapists' quality varies greatly as well- some were great, some were extremely weak. read more

I cannot recommend Millennium Wellness Group enough. Outside of their convenient location and flexibility with hours, the staff is on point. Some offices set an unrealistic schedule of when you should be coming in but after my assessment, Dr. Sara designed a physical therapy schedule for my shoulder that didn't require me to live in their office. Instead I was able to come in a few times a week then do work on my own making it manageable with my everyday life. Also have to call out Dr. Tanya, each appointment she would reassess my needs, figure out if anything has changed and adjust me accordingly. Dr. Bevlin is awesome and so are all the massage therapists. Dr. Bevlin is so personable, listens to you, and never makes you feel rushed. The therapists are very professional and pay attention to what your body tells them. I am someone who regularly gets massages. I rarely bother with the spa anymore. While its not a spa atmosphere, the massages are so much more effective in pain and tension relief. The front desk staff is also very friendly and on it. I have been going to MWG for close to three years. I work for Southwest Airlines and was talking to a flight attendant about finding a Chiropractor to help with my T1/T2 rhomboid problem. She mentioned that she goes to a Doctor in the Loop and they accept our insurance and that includes massage therapy. After a few visits and at-home exercises the problem was gone. Dr. Jen is awesome! She is humble and extremely knowledgeable of her craft. Sometimes I walk in and she tells me that I am out of place in my body, but I feel fine. I get on her table and sure enough, I hear a pop and that part of my body feels so much better. I am a person of many questions and like to know why my body is doing what it's doing. She always answers all my questions thoroughly. I still go in to get a tune up once or twice a month. Most of the problems I have now is not following her exercises. I even got orthotic inserts. I had plantar fasciitis and stand on my feet for long periods of time. I have tried three different types of inserts and her method is by far the best! She is a young spirit and makes you feel grounded. When discussing your problem she listens!. She's professional and won't baby you. Her relaxed attitude relaxes you. Heck, how many Chiropractors come to work with a smile on their face and sporting flip-flops?(summer time of course) My wife and I have been going to Dr. Tom Klarquist for over a year now. We really like him. He is a no nonsense type of Doctor. He really knows all the latest. We had just come back from a trip overseas and my wife picked up a parasite. He really helped her on which course of action to take. He actually lived in Africa for a short time and knew a lot about her problem. He really rounds out the MWG with his internal medicine. The staff at MWG are wonderful. From Alissa to Dr Stotts and all the massage therapists. All are very attentive and nice. The receptionist Ann is amazingly sweet and patient. I wish I could be that nice on the plane with my customers. Oh well.... something to strive for. The office is very convenient. I have been going to Dr. Jen Beverlin for a few years, and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Sitting behind a desk all day with poor posture is the main reason I need to see her. Leaving my office can be difficult sometimes, but they are so accomodating with appointments so it makes it real easy to get in and get adjusted. Dr. Jen knows exactly what she is doing and I can be in and out of there in no time and feel SO much better. She gave me some exercises and stretches to strengthen my back and posture, and everytime I go she asks if I have been keeping up with them ;) But sometimes I just like going to see her - it feels much better than working out haha... I love Millenium Wellness Group b/c unlike most chiropractic offices - they dont pressure you to come in appointment after appointment just for the hell of it. I am at the point now where I go see Dr. Jen on an as-needed basis; so I just call them up and stop in when I need to. I also love the fact that the entire office is so down-to-earth and kind. Dr. Jen is hilarious, caring and is always so positive, asks how my mom and neice are, etc. Oh and referring people is a plus - you get free massages! The therapists are great. Gus is awesome. I found out about Millennium Wellness from a referral sheet from a walk in clinic. I tried it more out of convenience than anything else. Ongoing little pains which flared up anytime I started any serious exercise routine were getting me down, I was feeling old before my time. From previous experience, I approached my first visit with Dr Jen as a skeptic, and did not want to get roped into lifetime weekly visits for adjustments. Although it took some weeks for her to undo years of problems, I am a very satisfied patient. I still need to go back sometimes, but mainly because I don't do the maintenance exercises she has prescribed. Part of my treatment involved massage therapy, and I was lucky to have Steve as the therapist who treated me. The twofold approach set me on the right track and now I feel 10 years younger than when I walked in their office door for the first time. As a result of my pleasant experience with Dr Jen, I decided to enlist Dr Tom Klarquist as my primary doctor, as I did not have a doctor at the time, and have been equally pleased with my experiences with him, as I have come to him with several issues, and I appreciate his approach, which is relaxed yet very professional, a nice combination when dealing with a nervous patient like me! Dr. Beverlin is amazing. I cannot emphasize strongly enough how pleasant & cheerful the entire staff is, or how effective the treatments are at relieving my migraine pain. Had a migraine complete with vertigo for a week. For some stupid reason I didn't make time in my schedule to call until today. Not only was Dr. Beverlin able to see me, she managed to alleviate my symptoms in about 5 minutes. Then I got an exceptionally relaxing massage that left me ready to take on the world.
