Where do I begin!?! Diana of Mahalo Consulting has been with me for 18 months and has doubled my…read morebusiness traffic. Her knowledge of Marketing and her passion for my company is immeasurable, she is so persistent, and truly believes that my success is her success. She even traveled to my location:)

Oh my gosh, where to begin…read more.. Please understand I am business owner and I hate leaving people bad reviews. When I experience bad services, I move on and take my business else where. But what Diana has done is unacceptable and must be made public. I started with Diana late last year (2018). She was recommended to me by someone who didn't work with her but knew her and had heard great things about her. We met for the first time and I had made it very clear that my main focus in terms of online marketing was to better my marketing via SEO, Ads, and online brand presence. She had me sold on her services by promising me she had the experience and knowledge to do just that. She told me she wanted to design a whole new website for me and create new content (included in her service). But there was a catch, the website would belong to her. My personal recommendation to other Business owners, DO NOT DO THIS! Her price for SEO, ADs Management, Yelp Management, Website Management, was $1,650 a month, a starting fee (don't remember the exact amount), plus the Ads budget. I figure it was a great deal at the time and was impressed by her willingness to meet and discuss any questions or concerned I had. She looks like a person you can trust so I went with it. She created a so called "great" website that would "convert" and bring in a ton of lead because the old one I had was not so great at converting, according to her. When she delivered the website, I noticed it was not that much greater in the design aspect, and was created using a free website builder called (wix), and me being a soft and considerate person, I didn't want criticize it. I just put my trust in her process. In the beginning her services seemed great. She offers great business advice and is prompt in responding to requests, and great at setting aside some time to meet you. She works very hard, but she focuses on the wrong stuff to work hard on. For example, when I receive a lead through my website I get an email notification, Diana then forwards me the same lead again and the same thing with voicemails. I kind of hinted to her she doesn't need to do that. I feel like she could have been using her time in other places. Leads were on and off since we started. I addressed this to her and told her that leads are kind of on and off. Here solution was "Increase the ads budget", which I did. Then mid Summer of 2018 came around and we were flooded with business and all was great. I even told her I wanted to open a new line of service and asked her to help me build the website. This is probably when doubt entered my heart about her. 1) We came up with a business name together, but then as soon as she leaves my office, she buys my business domain name under account without asking me. I demanded the URL name to be transfer to my account and she did after constantly reminding her. 2) She designed my new website almost I identical to the first website. Then I did some more research and found out most of her clients have the same exact website as mine. As my skepticism is increase, we hit 2 consecutive slow months, right after the ONE busy month we had. Leads were either terrible or just none at all. Note, I was paying $1,200 in Google Ads, and $750 in Yelp Ads. Every time leads were slow and I address Diana about it, it was always, I was doing something wrong. She once told me, no joke, that my voicemail message wasn't good enough. But, that is stupid because I am not getting calls to begin with. Finally, I requested consultations from other marketing agencies and shockingly the message was the same ALL across. 1) ZERO SEO was being done and the evidence for that was if you were to Google MY BUSINESS NAME, the result would show up on 5th or 6th page of Google. 2) She uses WIX (a free online website builder people use in their garages to build cheap websites) to build your website, which is BAD for SEO. 3) She sets you up with a 2 or 3 alternate web-based phone numbers, again BAD for SEO. 4) She was relying and spending way too much on Ads , which is not a long term marketing solution. I also found out that her competition only charges around $300-500 a month managing Ads across MANY platforms (Google, Bing, Yelp, Facebook, Twitter, Etc.) while she only charges, keeping in mind no SEO is being done, $1,650 for 2 platforms (Google and Yelp). I finally made the decision to make a switch to someone else and I gave her 1 month notice as stated in her contract. Then she went all free for all on my credit card and would have excuses that contradict herself as to why she was charging me. I repeatedly asked her, PLEASE INVOICE ME BEFORE YOU CHARGE MY CC. And for some reason she wouldn't. Another note: Do NOT give her Authorization to run your cc. She charges your card first, asks questions later. And even when she is proven wrong, she makes it difficult reversing the charges, or tries another way to justify it.
