If you give one staff member important information, you CANNOT count on that message being passed onmor put in your record. It is as if they don't talk to each other. After MULTIPLE filings with the wrong insurance company (and, yes, I told them many times), I have been trying to get a refund of an overpayment - for another 3 months. They refunded part of it, but didn't double-check their figures, which resulted in the wrong amount. They did not respond to my phone calls, did not respond to my hard-copy mail, did not respond to my mails... I didn't get a response until I mailed. *certified* letter. that was three weeks ago and still no response on the refund. My next step will be filing in small claims court. So completely disappointing.

I'm having a lot of pain in it so now I have to go out and get a root canal but the problem is I was supposed to take an antibiotic an hour before I go to the dentist , which should be my responsibility. I might add, but don't ask me if I had took it after you've done everything that's not professional all the last hygienist that I was there asked me before we started and I did forget to take it because it was my first time, but they gave me one but don't ask me have I took the antibiotic that I'm supposed to take for the rest of my life behind having surgery when I go to the dentist

I used to see Dr. Jeffery Siegert there, then he retired and now I see his son Dr. Tyler Siegert there. I have had to have kind of a lot of dental work done over the past several years, a lot of it due to childhood cavity fillings gone bad. The Siegerts have always managed to get me in ASAP to deal with an urgent situation. Everyone is so nice, I always wish that I could chat for a while without having the tools in my mouth! The only bad experience here was when I had to have a cracked-all-the-way-down tooth pulled, I really should have taken the option of going to an oral surgeon on that. But that's more about me and my tooth pieces than it was about the dentist. Dental work can be scary and uncomfortable at times. The people in this office really do their best to provide competent, caring, and timely service.

PSA - this is in regards to Omaha and Council Bluffs Oral Surgery on W. Dodge Rd. in Omaha,…read moreNebraska. The dentists there were awesome. The work was awesome. The issue that I had was with their financial coordinator, K. Santana. Before I agreed to any procedure, she gave me a printout of what the cost would be. Before I agreed to the cost, I asked her a minimum of three times if she was sure that this was the amount that I would be responsible for and she assured me, three times that yes it was. I said good because I can't afford the other amount that you were showing. And she said that with my insurance, the lower amount was the amount that I would be responsible for. So, based on that, I signed the papers and agreed to the procedure. About two weeks ago, I received a statement in the mail from them for twice the agreed-upon amount. I was shocked and notified them as soon as possible that there was apparently some error. The financial coordinator explained to me that she had mistakenly misrepresented to me what my portion of the bill would be. She kept apologizing and said it was an office error and she was extremely sorry. I said OK. I understand that we are all humans and we make mistakes however, I would never have signed an agreement to have the procedure done had I known that the higher amount was the amount I was going to be charged. I honestly think she just didn't know her job that well and misunderstood but still that's not my fault. I requested that they make an adjustment to my statement since I would never have had the procedure done had I've been given the correct amount. She claims that she spoke to her supervisor and that her supervisor, A. Bilava, said they would not be making any adjustments to my statement! As a person who is on a fixed income, this was devastating to me! I will do what I can to take care of it, (especially since it was mentioned that it would be sent to collections unless a payment was made) but I realize that there may be other people who may be considering them for their dental surgery. I want to warn others to be diligent when discussing finances with this particular organization. The fact that her supervisor supports this type of business practice is astonishing to me! I have NEVER had this happen with any other business that I have dealt with in the past. I honestly felt like I was deceived and then bullied into paying the extra thousands of dollars!
