Ordered: The Perfect Ten (~$15): rare roast beef, sharp provolone, tomato, arugula, and garlic mayo pressed on everything focaccia bread Aya's take: The Perfect Ten is in fact a perfect 10! I stopped by Millburn Deli on my way to the airport to have a quality sandwich to hold me during my flight. First of all, it smelled so good that I couldn't wait to get to my flight and ate half of it before I got to the airport. That's when I realized I should've got 2 sandwiches. Everything about it was perfection; the portion size of each ingredient, how all the ingredients came together, and how it surprisingly held well even hours later on the flight. Millburn Deli wasn't busy at all when I arrived at 10:30am on a Friday; I was pleasantly surprised at how colorful it was inside (their menu, their snacks, their drinks), how clean it was, and how efficient it was with all the helpful staff. This is hands down my new favorite deli/sandwich spot in North Jersey; I will be back! read more

When you think of the Millburn Deli you think of awesome sandwiches. But I think of the BEST salads. Jordon or as I call him "The Salad King" doesn't make the salad he creates the salad. Service with a smile and the freshest ingredients. read more

Have only been here three or four times but everything has been great every single time. Picked up a Jay Ray (pressed sando) and Turkey Club to go for lunch this afternoon and they didn't disappoint. Pictures speak for themselves. Service has always been fast and correct. Outdoor seating, the one time we ate there, was clean. This may be my new lunch spot in the SOMA area. read more

This place is incredible and quickly becoming my go-to spot for a sandwich. It is a bit pricey but the portions are generous and the quality makes it worth it. It's also a bit hectic to order, especially when they're busy but they do a pretty good job of getting you taken care of quickly. They have dine in options outside or inside a couple of doors down. I've gotten the Hollywood on a baguette the last couple of times and I would highly recommend. The turkey, bacon, avo combination is amazing and keeps me coming back even though it's a 30 minute drive from my house. read more

I was in the area and picked up sandwiches for me and my boyfriend. I got the soprano and he made his own up. I was slightly disappointed with mine because I thought when it said grilled chicken it would be like a thicker chicken breast: instead it's slices like deli meat so i actually thought they got it wrong. Only realized it was correct looking at pictures on here. Overall the quality was good. My boyfriend's sandwich was good. They have the operations running very smoothly for pick up. A little annoying to park in the area but not their fault. I'd def return and try something else. read more

Why is every sandwich just AMAZING! Haven't ordered anything that doesn't floor me. Can't wait for my next experience!

I've had the pleasure of visiting Millburn Deli twice now and both times have been great experiences. The menu is huge, with a few options for vegetarians although the meat options are definitely more interesting. Turnaround time was insanely quick. It probably took about 3 minutes to order my sandwich, get it, and pay. I'm a big fan of the Charlie sandwich, which is basically tuna salad on rye with sweet pickles. It's a decent amount of tuna, and those sweet pickles are out of this world. For $12 it felt like a steal. There's outdoor seating in the summer as well as indoor seating next door. read more

These guys know what they are doing and you can feel and taste the passion that goes into this place. Sandwiches are commonplace but the sandwiches here are anything but that. My Tuscan chicken cutlet sando with roasted peppers, mozz, arugula and garlic mayo was really something else. Bread was soft and I usually like my bread toasted but it was still really enjoyable. Chicken was juicy and flavorful, cheese was soft and veggies were fresh. I'm not from around here but if I was I would be dying to eat her once a week at least and eventually try everything on the menu. Menu options are split up into main protein categories and the color coding is a fun way of organizing these delicious chaotic creations. The staff serves quality service with a smile and you feel it when you walk in and feel happy on the way out. Worth going out of your way to come here. read more

Overrated ... service with w slight side it attitude. Asked for chicken salad they didn't have ... got a grilled chicken sandwich which was fine . Got a corned beef sloppy joe ... supermarket rye bread and supermarket corned beef very underwhelming read more

My husband and I are extremely fussy about our food and rarely go out to eat. We ordered the Tuscan chicken sandwich and the chicken Parmesan sandwich and both were delicious! The chicken was tender and flavorful, the bread was fresh, everything was delicious. We would happily go back! read more

I was born in New Jersey and lived in short hills for the first 30 years of my life. I believe every one or two weeks we went to the Millburn deli to pick up sandwiches and I have to say they were the best ever. In 1980 I moved to Arizona. I don't think there's a sandwich store in Tucson or many other places that I've visitedthat begins to compare with the Millburn Deli. In fact, every so often my sister, who also lives in Tucson, and I occasionally call the deli and have an order flown in. It's always fresh and yummy. furthermore, we've always had very pleasant service and fresh food. Their sloppy Joe's are divine! Meg Kaupp read more

I came on an off hour on a holiday so lucky for me, there was no line and I was serve right away. Upon entering, I was greeted with a nice welcome and that right there garners a love of points because rarely does a place this iconic ever have super nice people. I got the Three's Company which I was jonesing for and as usual, it hit the spot! I just love the marriage of flavors! LOTS to choose from. Grab & go. Kinda pricey but the flavors all there. You just can't go wrong. read more

INCREDIBLE!!! Such a fantastic sandwich shop. First time here, the two building layout is definitely interesting but it works! I've only had a handful of Reuben's in my life, always thinking the most recent is the best, and boy was this one was GOOD! The perfect ten was good as well. Overall a great experience, friendly staff, nice vibe, I'd come back if I wasn't visiting out of state! read more

I doordashed the chicken parm sandwich and that shit was so buss like 9/10 almost 10/10 but it would be a 10/10 if the cutlets were a little thinner and i didn't doordash it so you know what hell yeah 10/10 yall read more

Millburn Deli, oh Millburn Deli, how you have changed my life forever! The Pastrami Reuben and MD Italian were absolutely delicious. The meat was tasty, the bread was fresh, the service was fast and efficeint. What more can I add? OH! The food bar-- I tried a cabbage salad that I wish I could remember the name of. I tried to create it at home and it didn't even come close. For the price, cute suburban town vibe, and delicious meats, you cannot go wrong here. I would get a sandwich everyday from here if I could! read more

I don't know why but I have a thing for Thanksgiving sandwiches. So when I found out about The Gobbler being available at Millburn Deli, I just had to make a visit! I've now been to this deli at least 10x and each time I've only ever tried The Gobbler. The sandwich typically comes on rye but I always ask for it to be on white bread. The Gobbler comes with turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, lettuce, mayo, and black pepper. I mean to try the other specialty sandwiches, but I can't just ever convince myself not to get this Thanksgiving sandwich. Staff is also always seeming to be in a great mood, the place also offers a variety of chips and drinks and baked goods. And after you order your food, your either eat outdoors, as they have several tables outside, or in the place next door where they have booths that you can sit at. And now as I finish my review, I find myself craving for another Gobbler. read more

My first time having a sandwich from here and OMG, I would give 10 stars if I could. My co-worker stopped to get lunch for both of us and I could not stop raving about this sandwich. I had the Turkey Club and it was BEYOND delicious!!! The bread was phenomenal, and not to mention the fudge brownies with walnuts...again right on point. This is definately my new sandwich place. Anyone who gives less than 5 stars is either having a bad day or they just simply like to complain. One taste of this and you will be hooked!! Thank you Millburn Deli for such a wonderful experience. I will be back and will be telling everyone about this place! read more

Ordered all the way from Seattle via Goldbelly. The Godfadda was good but the NJ Sloppy Joes were nothing short of divine. We had one Joe with smoked turkey and one Joe with ham. It doesn't matter which meat you choose because what really made the sandwiches was the house made coleslaw, the bread, the thin slice of the meat, and the perfect ratio of each component. Both the smoked turkey and the ham were delish. I know this craving will hit again, and I will be ordering from here again when it does (unless Seattle finally figures out how to make a proper east coast sandwich). read more

Not sure what took me so long to come here. My friend spoke so highly about this place and I was in the area so decided to stop by. I read the reviews and heard the hype about the Turkey sloppy Joe and their homemade iced teas. That's exactly what I ordered, I also ordered the hail Cesar wrap for my mom. Mind you Im Not a huge fan of rye bread and just recently got into coleslaw. When I tell you the shock of how good this combination was, I was so surprised. All the flavors complimented one another so well I couldn't be any happier. I highly recommend this location they have a small parking lot on the side, outdoor seating and you can tell all of their ingredients are fresh. They also have some premade items in their fridge, salads and so much more. The iced tea was also a hit it was greatly balanced with flavors and so refreshing. I'm so glad they have other locations closer to me cannot wait to go back for more! read more
