Unfortunately I can give a pretty good review as I got to see how the daycare was run as a parent…read morewith my work schedule. Some of the people there were awesome so sad the turnover rate was crazy, the owner doesn't like when you have an issue instead gets ride of parents and employees when you start having issues with something there. Im a school bus driver so I work with children also so there were in my duration of time being there some concerns, I have seen there high turn over rate and some in which were not competent to be hired around kids giving good quality care others that were good and nasty interactions with the owner and staff was crazy. How many times the state was contacted for complaints on the daycare one being the constant spread of hand foot mouth, there are some that are great there like Vennessa she was awesome in the infant room, Jenn seems to be good but unfortunately after being there it's a matter of time until all staff is turned over. The cook was an amazing change as the last one was not doing a good job of giving age appropriate food sizes to the 1 year class as I know as someone who gets my first aid and CPR training every other year for my job and also being an experienced parent know that the first and most important step in kids choking is prevention. Don't know how many times I picked up big bark dust chips or little toys they could choke on left on floor with no one watching in the one year class or how dirty kids are kept so your kids always sick, but what really started doing it for me is when I witnessed them leaving children with no shoes on playground and they have these huge bark dust chips that not only the babies shove in there mouth, they are quite the slivers they can get in there feet and infection from a bad enough sliver or injury. To me it's straight up neglectful to not put kids shoes on for safety, at my job there are a lot of common sense things we do as drivers to take care of children to ensure their safety, especially so as a special needs driver so for me when I see this it's unexceptionable and neglectful as one morning I brought my daughter at 6:30 am and came back at 10am after my mourning route to bring her shoes as we rushed out of house in her socks and forgot her shoes and the daycare actually had my daughter outside with no shoes in the bark dust out on playground her feet were cold to me this was absolutely not acceptable and i questioned the common since of those that thought that was ok to do. Also my 1 year old was being taken outside in pouring rain clothes soaked and dirty and left in them even with a change of clothes in his bag, he was getting sick from being out in the cold and left in soggy wet clothes. And the bitting is what also did it they allowed a child to behaviorally bite my children a total of 6 times and others peoples kids without taking any intervention to keep it from happing again. Just not acceptable to ignore issues and remove people for bringing it to their attention I don't recommend this daycare very much some neglectful things witnessed here. Also when I was in the back playground to get my daughter there is an unsecured spot in the fence that I have seen little kids squeeze through, also 2 times the people opening at this daycare have not showed up by 6:30 and parents are waiting in Parking lot and for me if im past the 10 minute mark at my job they have to cover your route and send you home without pay which also would have made me loose all my overtime for that week.

My daughter has attended Goddard for the past year, and we've had a great experience so far. Her…read moreteachers provide her with much love and care, whether it's giving hugs or helping her with her lunch or improving her social and handwriting skills, and have been a joy to work with. The director and owner have always been very kind and responsive to whenever I had a question or concern too, and place a lot of importance on the health, safety, and well-being of the kids. We plan to enroll my daughter next year as well, because she doesn't want to leave her beloved teachers and friends!

I am writing to convey our extreme dissatisfaction with The Goddard School, particularly following…read moreour daughter's initial year of enrollment. Despite significant investment and early promise, the quality of care and education deteriorated severely. We observed persistent operational failures, including consistently high student-to-teacher ratios and rapid staff turnover, transforming the environment from an enriching educational setting into what felt like an understaffed daycare. This led to a complete absence of individualized attention and consistent relationships crucial for early childhood development. Furthermore, the school's response to our daughter's needs was deeply inadequate. Instead of offering supportive classroom adjustments, we repeatedly encountered deflection and premature suggestions for external medical evaluations. Our pediatrician subsequently confirmed no developmental or behavioral issues beyond normal for her age, directly refuting the school's completely unwarranted suggestions. Most disturbingly, we hold serious concerns regarding potential bias. As a biracial child, our daughter's behaviors were disproportionately scrutinized and framed negatively compared to non-biracial peers exhibiting similar or more challenging behaviors, raising profound questions about fairness within the school. The emotional toll on our daughter has been devastating. She reported being repeatedly labeled "bad" by staff, including egregious comments like, "your classmates don't like you because you are bad." Such unprofessional and psychologically damaging statements constitute an appalling breach of trust, severely impacting her self-confidence and overall outlook on school. This experience has been profoundly disappointing and extremely detrimental to our daughter's early educational journey. We strongly caution other parents against enrolling their children at The Goddard School, especially for children beyond the earliest stages. In reply to your response: Your response entirely misses the fundamental issues we raised regarding our daughter's profound negative experience at your school. Despite your stated commitments, our child endured significant emotional harm from staff labeling her as "bad," which severely undermined her confidence. Beyond this, we observed consistent systemic failures: inadequate classroom support, high staff turnover, and an inappropriate focus on evaluations despite pediatric confirmation of age-appropriate behavior. Crucially, we noted a distressing disparity in the treatment of our biracial daughter compared to other children. This was a cumulative pattern of events, not isolated incidents, which ultimately led to her departure. Our review stands as a vital warning for other prospective families.

I went to this mini school when I was little, when it was time to find a school for my son my dad…read morerecommended this mini school because they were so good to us as kids. My son went there for 2 years, GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! Mrs. McCool was AMAZING. My son loved her so much, moving on to the 4 year old class he still stopped by every day to tell her hi. Mrs waudby was also amazing as my son had a bit of a hard time going to school in his second year, she was so patient and did a great job making him feel comfortably leaving me for the school day. They are both so sweet and patient with the little ones. A lot of preschools seem to be more like daycares, but mini school is more like a classroom Setting and school time like you would have in kindergarten. They learn a lot everyday, do projects, play outside, have snack, and dance party's! It was a great way for my son to learn to be around other kids, make friends and socialize. They welcome parents to come in anytime to check in or watch what class is like, there is no hiding anything from parents which is important. I think with a combination of the two years in Mini School and keeping up the learning at home, this is why my son did so well in kindergarten and ended up Exceeding his grade level. I'm working on getting my 3 year old into mini school but he's a stubborn potty trainer. I would highly recommend For your family!
