We toured Goddard, Kiddie Academy, other Kindercare locations trying to find the best fit for our 2 year old son. This is his first time in daycare and I was so concerned about him adapting to a new environment. He is starting his 3rd week and he is getting more comfortable each day. He is speech delayed and I was worried about his interactions with his teachers. Luckily he's built a strong bond with them all and especially Miss Gwen and Miss MJ. We've already had him come home with several art projects and so many pictures of him to look at throughout the day. I have zero concerns about his safety and well being here. I really appreciate that Megan (the center director) is extremely responsive via email and the app. Any little question or concern is immediately addressed. And all the teachers are so kind and willing to talk about my son's day at pick up. So far, I am thrilled about this daycare experience and am looking forward to seeing my son's continued growth! read more

We switched from another daycare, and have been at kindercare for over a year. The best thing about it is the caring teachers. My little ones have loved their teachers dearly, and this makes all the difference in the world for us. We considered another center that was more expensive, and had an updated facility, but we didnt get the same sense of "warmness" there. We love FL kindercare! read more

We will have our oldest child at this Fisher's Landing KinderCare for 9 years come this fall, our second child here for 6 years as he started a few months after he was born. The reason we've been at this specific care center for so long is the staff and how it is run. If there is ever sickness exposure, an injury, something between two kids, etc, we are always made aware via the app and email, we have never hesitated to speak directly with the staff about our children's situation, let alone the Director if we ever felt her input or support would be helpful. Big or small, Director Megan and the staff have taken it seriously, listened to all sides, and made necessary steps to address. It is also our top priority to take our kids somewhere where the staff's priority is safety and making sure the kids are cared for, something we haven't had to question for 9 years. I also appreciate that the areas where we would like to see improvement are really nothing we'd consider a "big deal" or a "make or break". First, we've at times felt there's a bit overcommunication or it is dramatized when a kid isn't "perfect" all day. What I mean is, if my kid pushed my other kid, I do appreciate being informed, but I don't necessarily need a staff member to flag me down with wide eyes and say "it was a rough day" and then proceed to tell me that's why. Other staff, typically that have children of their own, are usually a bit softer on that front, informing us of the situation, how they addressed it, and ask if we have any questions. They don't look the other way, they don't allow it to go unaddressed or let me go uninformed, but it's not dramatized and the first thing I hear when I'm seeing my kids for the first time that day at pickup. Second, KinderCare is not a free-for-all, let kids go at it, facility, however I will say I wish there was sometimes a bit more structure in the School Age classroom. It's a challenge with that many different ages, grades, schedules in one room but I know my kids have done better when it's either summer when there's a full curriculum, or when the classroom goes through projects or other planned activities after school/on short days. The last thing I want to say is while no center is perfect, I just appreciate the heck out of this staff and their Director. Whenever we've heard any wild story from our kids, or our kids are the ones who are at fault, I feel like their team is our partner in finding a solution. They care about each of these kids and are additional cheerleaders for them. Our kid's first teacher at this KinderCare from almost 9 years ago is still a close friend and our go-to babysitter. read more

When my family and I moved to the Pacific Northwest in December, I looked into several different daycare and preschool options. When I began to talk to Miss Megan from Fisher's Landing, the first thing she said to me was, tell me about your children. It was so wonderful to hear that she was genuinely interested in my kids. Every other school director that I spoke to started talking to me about logistics and availability and tuition. Literally no one else actually asked me about my kids. My daughter is very shy and takes a while to adjust to new social situations. From her first day, the Fisher's Landing KinderCare teachers looked after her and I could tell that they genuinely took an interest in her well being. Yesterday, she transitioned from the Preschool Classroom to the Pre-K Classroom and her Preschool teacher gave her a book and wrote her a sweet and thoughtful letter. It's so clear to me that not only are all the kids in the school going through a transition as the kids move up to the next class for the new school year, but all the teachers are too. All the teachers are very kind, professional, and provide excellent care to the kids. I'm so grateful for the rich learning environment that my children experience at Kindercare Fisher's Landing. read more

We pulled our 3.5 year old daughter from this school just a few weeks after starting. The staff were friendly and my daughter's basic needs were being met-but that's it. The teachers were always sitting down with one kid in their lap, telling the rest of the kids to "find an activity". In the 3-4 weeks we were there my daughter never brought home a single art project or other activity. It just seemed like it was free play all day without any structure or curriculum. My daughter wasn't learning anything or being challenged in any way. In all fairness, the director did offer to move her up to the older class for a more challenging environment, but we weren't confident it would make a difference. We were hoping for a preschool and instead got a babysitter. read more

I'm really impressed with this daycare. One of my sons just transitioned from the infants room to wobbler room. The teachers in the infant room were wonderful and I'm now loving the teachers in the wobbler and toddler room. The transition was a little rocky for my son but the teachers were understanding and attentive to that. I feel that my son is in very good hands. My school age son spent last summer here and he just cannot wait until this summer to attend. Their school age summer program is jam packed with activities to keep the kids busy which I love. You are charged an extra fee in the summer (about $150) but its so worth it. I'm also impressed with the director and assistant director. They are always on top of things and very organized regarding the business side. They are timely at getting back with me regarding any questions or concerns I may have. This daycare was my first choice when I moved to Washington. I'm so happy with my decision and plan on sticking around. read more

This is a great center, we feel so lucky to have found them. The director, Jessica, genuinely loves children and looks after each classroom. The children have projects and fun activities that keep them engaged- including some awesome structures made of cardboard to crawl in - a giant castle and pirate ship! There is also a school garden that the children help care for and ingredients are used in their meals. My school age son was well prepared for Kindergarten when he transitioned. My younger aged son is sensitive and the teachers have been very kind in building a relationship with him so that drop offs aren't as hard for him. I'd highly recommend this center! read more

I visited several preschools/daycares before choosing KinderCare. They are very thorough and pay attention to safety, education and provide quality care for the children entrusted to them. There is a low teacher-student ratio (1:4 for the infant room). Everyone I have met has been very kind and helpful. I love the infant room teachers Jessica and Shauna, too. When I go to KinderCare, there are never any tears - she is excited to be there. Kindercare provides meals that are well balanced and age appropriate and they give you a report at the end of each day so you know what your child ate, what he/she learned and how the day went overall. I will recommend KinderCare to others and I am very grateful I found such a great place to partner with. read more
