My daughter has been at ChildsPlay for a few months now. She is always happy to come to daycare and see all of her teachers and friends. It took the teachers some time to get used to our infant feeding schedule but now they are in a groove and provide great care for my little one. I was an employee there just this year recently I do NOT recommend sending your kids there! They allow the staff to physically abuse the kids to talk to them inappropriate language (cuss words) allows them to threaten them by putting their hands on them, they allow the kids to be gossiped about terribly, I even had my own kid going there and went through sooo many problems my sisters wanted their kids to go their until they seen and heard for themselves how it is! The owner Is there everyday and has knowledge of everything that is going on and she doesnt do anything! All the bosses and managers just sit in the front and no nothing but talk and gossip, even the bosses take into yanking the kids putting chairs on top of the kids, I've tried to tell them many times about what is going on and they did nothing never fired the staff that does harm the kids they are still there. They have even stated They just want the money from the parents, if you are thinking about working there DONT ! Protect your kids by NOT sending them there. read more

Unfortunately I can give a pretty good review as I got to see how the daycare was run as a parent with my work schedule. Some of the people there were awesome so sad the turnover rate was crazy, the owner doesn't like when you have an issue instead gets ride of parents and employees when you start having issues with something there. Im a school bus driver so I work with children also so there were in my duration of time being there some concerns, I have seen there high turn over rate and some in which were not competent to be hired around kids giving good quality care others that were good and nasty interactions with the owner and staff was crazy. How many times the state was contacted for complaints on the daycare one being the constant spread of hand foot mouth, there are some that are great there like Vennessa she was awesome in the infant room, Jenn seems to be good but unfortunately after being there it's a matter of time until all staff is turned over. The cook was an amazing change as the last one was not doing a good job of giving age appropriate food sizes to the 1 year class as I know as someone who gets my first aid and CPR training every other year for my job and also being an experienced parent know that the first and most important step in kids choking is prevention. Don't know how many times I picked up big bark dust chips or little toys they could choke on left on floor with no one watching in the one year class or how dirty kids are kept so your kids always sick, but what really started doing it for me is when I witnessed them leaving children with no shoes on playground and they have these huge bark dust chips that not only the babies shove in there mouth, they are quite the slivers they can get in there feet and infection from a bad enough sliver or injury. To me it's straight up neglectful to not put kids shoes on for safety, at my job there are a lot of common sense things we do as drivers to take care of children to ensure their safety, especially so as a special needs driver so for me when I see this it's unexceptionable and neglectful as one morning I brought my daughter at 6:30 am and came back at 10am after my mourning route to bring her shoes as we rushed out of house in her socks and forgot her shoes and the daycare actually had my daughter outside with no shoes in the bark dust out on playground her feet were cold to me this was absolutely not acceptable and i questioned the common since of those that thought that was ok to do. Also my 1 year old was being taken outside in pouring rain clothes soaked and dirty and left in them even with a change of clothes in his bag, he was getting sick from being out in the cold and left in soggy wet clothes. And the bitting is what also did it they allowed a child to behaviorally bite my children a total of 6 times and others peoples kids without taking any intervention to keep it from happing again. Just not acceptable to ignore issues and remove people for bringing it to their attention I don't recommend this daycare very much some neglectful things witnessed here. Also when I was in the back playground to get my daughter there is an unsecured spot in the fence that I have seen little kids squeeze through, also 2 times the people opening at this daycare have not showed up by 6:30 and parents are waiting in Parking lot and for me if im past the 10 minute mark at my job they have to cover your route and send you home without pay which also would have made me loose all my overtime for that week. read more

ChildsPlay Learning Center has an amazing team! I pulled my son from a center to put him in childsplay due to the way things are ran, he is back to loving going to daycare. My other son who is school age attends 2 days a week and is high functioning ADHD and the team has been amazing at accommodations to help him be successful at daycare! Toxic work environment. If only families could hear what "teachers" and directors say about the kids and parents they would never enroll thier kids here. The things I saw there as well makes me afraid for the kids. You pour your heart and soul into caring for those kids, turn your classroom into a warm welcoming place for parents to bring thier infants and one person telling outright lies about you gets more leverage than the good work you put into that place. Do not ever bring your kids here or work at this place. Firstly for the parents, I worked here 6 weeks and this place is an abusive mess. The kids are thrown around, screamed at, sat on, laid on, held until they bruise, gossiped about, and talked to extremely rudely. Starting as young as the toddler 1 room who has literally babies, I watched as the babies were pushed into their beds and scolded for not sleeping. The biting and kid-on-kid abuse is out of control. Students will bite and hit and kick each other all day. Management doesn't seem to care about stopping these behaviors at all. Students can bite 15 times a day and not be sent home. I was bitten twice and scratched until blood came out. Managers and owners should be lucky I didn't press charges that day. Where's the hazard pay for the abuse you face as an employee here? Two front desk women Ally and Melissa sit around all day doing whatever, I actually saw them on several occasions just scrolling Facebook and tiktok and gossiping with each other. They enforce a dress code but dress very inappropriately. Bras through their shirt, cleavage, and club dresses being worn by the two women who are supposed to be setting an example and taking care of your children for 12 hours a day. There is 0 training given to staff. I didn't get any training ever and was thrown into a room on my first day expecting to know how to run it ALONE for hours straight. Staff is so toxic. The front desk clique gossips non stop about staff, parents, and students. Manager Ally called parents "crazy" behind their back to me and teacher Tanya called another parent a "stripper" and "crazy" to me as well. I watched one staff member who already quit get punched in the face from a student so she decided to physically lay on the student to restrain him, and I watched another staff member smack a child's hand when he grabbed a toy. this is stuff I'm witnessing in my first weeks. My teachers Tanya taught me all sorts of abusive ways to treat the kids such as physical punishment, punitive punishment, verbal abuse and humiliation. Kids were called out in front of the class and yelled at by Tanya and Tanya yelled at them while they were pantless on the toilet. Don't expect the owner to ever be around as I met her probably only twice in my 6 weeks working here. One staff member spent one of her days, instead of managing her classroom, telling all the staff that she wanted to "beat me up". The manager Melissa KNEW THIS and continued to let this employee work all day until I asked her why I was being threatened at work? And the whole time she was angry because I was literally just following direction from my teacher Tanya in charge. While working here for 6 weeks I watched 2 people get fired and 4 people quit, and 2 more discussed how badly they wanted to quit too. The most highest turnover rate I've ever seen at any job. Managers can't manage the amount of staff, they can't manage the amount of kids. They can barely schedule correctly without making staff stay overtime 2-3 hours. Sometimes they even made staff work 12 hours with only 1 lunch when you're legally required 2. I never ever got my 2 legally required breaks. I was lucky to get 1 a day at this place. The managers don't care if you got it or not as they never bothered to check or ask. And as soon as this place is in trouble with the parents or the law (which I also watched happen) they're quick to blame a staff member who they will just easily fire or has already quit. The law had to get involved when a parent reported Childsplay Learning Center staff for spanking their kid and pushing him. I hope if you're a parent reading this you take your child elsewhere or pull your kid out of this place. At the end of the day, the abuse is on the managers hands too. Hold them accountable for the show they're running. My advice, train your staff, stop gossiping like you're 12, and have a consistent classroom instead of switching where staff is scheduled to be in every single day. No wonder this place can't even manage to get a 3 star rating on anything. read more

I have two children with special needs both are non verbal. A year ago I chose this daycare because it was the only one walking distance from house and work. I did the tour and didn't get a good feeling from the start but I was in a tough situation and it was my only option. My daughters did love it here until they started losing teachers and getting new ones. After the closures I took them back and because Of their special needs I started them 1week prior to me starting work so they could transition and I could be flexible. I pick them up from the first day and they tell me they are upset because my daughter was disruptive and ripped the NEW day care teachers HOOP nose rings out at nap time and that now they want me to pick her up before nap time..... I said you have 4 kids now wouldn't it be the perfect time to work with her and get her transitioned !! Jenine lies and tells me they had 16 kids that day which is breaking the 10 kids per room right now because of the virus and also they only had 4 when I dropped off and picked up. Then JENINE takes a phone call while I'm standing their trying to discuss this situation and she hangs up the phone and LIES again and tells me that the person who called was a concerned parent about my kids In a hot car . My kids were in a BMW with my husband and the A/C blowing. So I told her even if my kids could come back here I would never bring them back to this place. JENINE will smile and act super nice to you but she is one evil lady and I would not feel comfortable leaving my kids here knowing what I know now and what's scarier is I trusted them a whole year and who knows how they were treating my kids.Innovative services is thankfully going to be able to take them . Great daycare/learning center if you can completely ignore Jeanine, the director. She treats parents like they are stupid and somehow always answers questions the most negative way. The teachers are fabulous though and they helped heat my child's lunches from home. They teach a lot too. Always felt safe leaving child here and the rates are not terrible, if you can get past the evil gatekeeper, haha. read more

how are they still getting business? if I could I would give this place a negative 5 stars. extremely poor management and the leads are even worst. I personally know previous employees and parents who took their kids there in the past I wouldn't recommend any family member to not only work there but to not even bring your children there. honestly your best off having a homeless lady watch your kids and give them better care. I'm not saying all employees were bad there or still is there but the leads are extremely horrible and the management is outrageously bad. it's grown women who stir the drama like it was middle school/high school with them and nothing is done correctly. I hate to say this but I don't see any success with this establishment or growth as an employee. About a year ago we switched from an in-home daycare to Childsplay and couldn't be happier. My daughter has begun to blossom and made some great friends. The teachers are caring and nurturing. They have helped us through potty training and learning letters and numbers. The facility is always clean and the staff friendly. I shopped a few schools before choosing Childsplay and am happy we landed here. read more
