He started his learning…read morejourney here this year just before he turned two and within few days he adjusted so well that we did not have to worry anymore. This is because of the very friendly and caring staff/teachers. They make even the parents comfortable right from day one with constant updates about the kid's activities with pictures, notes about the meal times and by promptly responding to any questions/concerns at any point of the day. The school follows just the right curriculum what we need for all ages. At these covid times, they follow the best practices, hygiene and precautions that we expected. With bright ambience in the classrooms, huge play areas and extremely caring teachers, this school just proves to be a second home for our son and his second happy place!! Very thankful to Nancy, Vinisha, Cynthia and all the teachers for making this possible. I highly recommend this school for all early learners!

In the year that they have been at Safari Kid, their progression has demonstrated positive growth in so many ways. Safari Kid has provided an excellent environment for our boys to discover the joy in learning. Their response to the play-based and socio-emotional aspects of the curriculum has been so positive. The administration and staff go above and beyond in providing a sense of safety and community, helping our kids to grow into independent, sociable, curious, playful, and confident learners. We truly feel that the teachers, administration, and staff care about the well-being and growth of our kids. As parents we are continually impressed by the new skills acquired by our children from lessons provided by Safari Kid. We are so glad we found Safari Kid!

Unfortunately I can give a pretty good review as I got to see how the daycare was run as a parent…read morewith my work schedule. Some of the people there were awesome so sad the turnover rate was crazy, the owner doesn't like when you have an issue instead gets ride of parents and employees when you start having issues with something there. Im a school bus driver so I work with children also so there were in my duration of time being there some concerns, I have seen there high turn over rate and some in which were not competent to be hired around kids giving good quality care others that were good and nasty interactions with the owner and staff was crazy. How many times the state was contacted for complaints on the daycare one being the constant spread of hand foot mouth, there are some that are great there like Vennessa she was awesome in the infant room, Jenn seems to be good but unfortunately after being there it's a matter of time until all staff is turned over. The cook was an amazing change as the last one was not doing a good job of giving age appropriate food sizes to the 1 year class as I know as someone who gets my first aid and CPR training every other year for my job and also being an experienced parent know that the first and most important step in kids choking is prevention. Don't know how many times I picked up big bark dust chips or little toys they could choke on left on floor with no one watching in the one year class or how dirty kids are kept so your kids always sick, but what really started doing it for me is when I witnessed them leaving children with no shoes on playground and they have these huge bark dust chips that not only the babies shove in there mouth, they are quite the slivers they can get in there feet and infection from a bad enough sliver or injury. To me it's straight up neglectful to not put kids shoes on for safety, at my job there are a lot of common sense things we do as drivers to take care of children to ensure their safety, especially so as a special needs driver so for me when I see this it's unexceptionable and neglectful as one morning I brought my daughter at 6:30 am and came back at 10am after my mourning route to bring her shoes as we rushed out of house in her socks and forgot her shoes and the daycare actually had my daughter outside with no shoes in the bark dust out on playground her feet were cold to me this was absolutely not acceptable and i questioned the common since of those that thought that was ok to do. Also my 1 year old was being taken outside in pouring rain clothes soaked and dirty and left in them even with a change of clothes in his bag, he was getting sick from being out in the cold and left in soggy wet clothes. And the bitting is what also did it they allowed a child to behaviorally bite my children a total of 6 times and others peoples kids without taking any intervention to keep it from happing again. Just not acceptable to ignore issues and remove people for bringing it to their attention I don't recommend this daycare very much some neglectful things witnessed here. Also when I was in the back playground to get my daughter there is an unsecured spot in the fence that I have seen little kids squeeze through, also 2 times the people opening at this daycare have not showed up by 6:30 and parents are waiting in Parking lot and for me if im past the 10 minute mark at my job they have to cover your route and send you home without pay which also would have made me loose all my overtime for that week.

We have been at Kidspace for two yes. I've been holding off on writing a review because there are…read moreno words I could write to accurately describe the level of care, compassion, thoughtfulness, curiosity, and love for learning that exudes every inch of this school. My kid asks to go to school almost every day. My mind is at ease at drop off off, and when I pick her up, she is usually beaming about what they did in school that day. As a bonus, she has made several great friends. In my personal experience in observing many preschools and interacting with their children and staff as part of my job, many are just meeting the basic needs. Yes, the children are usually safe. But are they engaged? Educated thoughtfully? Do they feel like part of the school family? Do YOU? At Kidspace they are and you will! Kidspace is magical and a revelation. ALL children should have the opportunity to attend a preschool THIS GOOD! The owner is also actively exploring bringing back the Kindergarten program starting in the 2023-2024 school year! Check them out!

Both of my children attended Kidspace starting at 3 years old and it really felt like home to us until they moved to Kindergarten. They got a great start to their learning life and with this solid foundation have become vibrant inquisitive learners who enjoy school, reading and being in Nature. My kids loved the Nature School component of Kidspace too! Nothing beats being in the woods & climbing trees as part of their play based curriculum.

Do not recommend! So…read moreincredibly disappointed with Sonshine daycare AND the church. I registered my daughter and paid the $70 fee and she was to start in about a week however within 3 days the governor shut down public schools completely due to covid. I reached out to the day care and director David and let them know we would be postponing her start date until I have more information about covid and if my employer was shutting down as well. Within a couple days the daycare was completely shut down to non essential workers as well. I called the church as I couldn't get through to the daycare and was told they were temporarily closed. A couple weeks later I called the daycare and left a message asking if I could please be reimbursed for our registration fee since my daughter never started due to Covid. I didn't hear back for a week and still no returned calls but rather an email saying " sorry we don't refund registration fees". Now if I had changed my mind and wanted my daughter to go somewhere else then I understand not being able to refund. However schools, employers and the daycare were temporarily shut down so I feel the right thing to do would be to refund me my money. David the director refused to do so, so I emailed the church from their main website, a week passed and no response. I called in and left a message with the receptionist of the church and still no response and another week has passed. So incredibly disappointed in the lack of professionalism and care, blown away that a Christian church and preschool would treat people this way. Again my daughter never started due to state regulations from Covid in which schools, daycares and employers were shut down, why would I not be reimbursed??

Seeing that this was a new experience for us, there were a lot of reservations I had about this new chapter; as with any parent, I was scared that they would not receive that attention they need, the level of care, etc. The teachers at Lakeshore Learning Center quickly put my anxiety at ease after seeing how they took my children under their wing, looked after and genuinely cared about their growth and wellbeing. Each teacher has a warmth to them which makes it very clear that they are there for your kids as both a teacher and friend. I was/am impressed by their structured daily routine and how they keep the children engaged with art, science, dance, song, sensory, etc. The center itself is clean, well organized and operated with kind people. Also, I cannot say enough about how pre-K at Lakeshore really provides the essential tools for Kindergarten readiness. We are thankful and blessed to be attending Lakeshore Learning Center.
