    Candice was our planner and day of coordinator for our recent wedding at Franciscan Gardens! We chose the skim milk package with a few add ons. Candice is SO organized and experienced and our wedding wouldn't have been so successful without her help. We live in the Bay Area but had our wedding in Orange County. Candice was instrumental in providing vendor recommendations within our budget since we don't live in the area. We definitely trusted her recommendations and all of the vendors she recommended were amazing and great to work with! One of the best things about her planning package is the Milk Events rentals. The rentals and styling kits are tasteful and modern and definitely cut down on decorations we needed to buy or DIY for candles, photo frames etc. Candice is no nonsense and will keep you on track on the day of. We were running a late on hair and makeup from the start but Candice helped get us back on track once we got to the venue, everything on the day of went smoothly. Candice and Milk Events was one of the best investments to help make our wedding day stress-free and I would highly recommend her and her team!

    Milk Events truly went above and beyond for my wedding! I have the highest recommendations for Candice, who was the dream wedding planner. She answered every question with intense detail, helped find solution for the many family issues that come up regarding weddings, and was such an amazing sounding board for all operational questions. She designed my wedding invites from scratch with my vague vision and seamlessly managed the entire schedule of events from beginning to end. She has an amazing team who helped pull it off. I couldn't imagine doing this without Milk Events and recommend them to everyone I know! Weddings are a lot to handle and deal with, so make sure you choose the perfect planner who can do it all.     We needed a wedding (day of) coordinator and a friend had recommended Milk Events... omg best decision ever!!! Candice was AMAZING and I highly recommend her for your event. She's detailed-oriented, gets things done, and is the absolute sweetest! She has this calmness about her that just melts away any stress or worries you might have.     Hiring Candice was the best money I spent for my wedding. I went with the 2% package which was the partial planning services in Feb 2020 for my Oct wedding. I came to Candice already having booked my venue, photo, hair/makeup, video and florals and she helped me fill in the rest. Candice was able to point me towards the perfect vendors to complete my wedding day (photobooth, rentals, tent, DJ, lighting) which saved me a ton of time researching on my own. During Covid, I postponed my wedding to Oct 2021 so we took a break in the planning. This May, we picked back up and started reimagining what the day would look like. The biggest change I made was turning my indoor, ballroom reception to an outdoor tent wedding to help guests feel more comfortable because of Covid. That was not an easy task because of my venue. I chose to get married at Santa Anita Park, which is a multi event space with horse races that whole weekend. It was a huge logistical nightmare because it limited our set up time and there were so many rules from the venue. I probably would've given up on the wedding had it not been for Candice tackling all the vendor set ups and communicating with the venue. There were so many inconveniences because of my venue but Candice handled each one of them so professionally and never made me feel stressed about it. I was in the calmest mood getting ready the morning of my wedding because I knew I was in good hands with Candice and her team. All my vendors were in the right place at the right time so just flowed from getting ready, first look, ceremony and reception. I couldn't have imagined it going any smoother. The Milk team transformed the ceremony and reception site and I received so many comments how beautiful everything was. Candice also went out of her way to create a tapestry stand for me the morning of my wedding because the one I brought would've ruined the vibe. I'm so thankful for Candice and her team for making my wedding a beautiful reality even through postponement and a stressful venue.

    Kristy was our planner and was absolutely amazing. My wife is a control freak and it's amazing how Kristy was able to handle her and all her needs. During the planning process she was organized and extremely on top of things. She would also be extremely honest giving us realistic expectations. Day of, we really couldn't have done it without her. There were apparently a few mishaps that was out of her control (DJ forgot something and had to run home, apparently it even rained). We didn't even find out about these things until weeks later! She is so professional, we didn't have a single worry. She took care of them and made sure everything worked for us. Kristy thinks of everything and will take care of you. Couldn't have had a better wedding.

    Booking Candice was the best decision we did during our wedding planning. She was very organized and was easy to communicate with. First time we met, she was already taking down notes about our visions and things that we want for our big day, she asked relevant questions and was already making suggestions/recommendations, even if we haven't booked with her yet. We felt at ease talking to her and she very transparent to us. After that meeting my then fiancé, now husband said "she's dope, and we are booking her!". We signed up with her 8 months prior to the wedding, we got the partial package (2%). Candice helped us with deciding which vendors to get and keep things within budget. She sent us this excel file of things that would help us during the planning, from deadlines, budgeting and day of activities. She would constantly check on us and make sure everything was on track. She coordinated with all vendors and created the day of timeline with everyone's contact information in there. Then came the big day, everything went well and boy, she worked hard to make sure everything goes smoothly. She was on top of things and her team did an amazing job. The whole time I had either her or her assistant next to me to make sure I was ok, she was even helping me change shoes, put on my veil and even buzzle my dress. She was very patient with answering the questions and demands of the moms/aunties, and made sure all the guests are happy. She was very impressive, all our family was saying after the event was "your coordinator was very nice", "Candice did a very good job", "Candice, kept her calm even if I kept on asking her questions and things" and so fort. Candice, you're a life saver and we are very thankful that we found you! We love you, and I hope you enjoyed at our wedding.

    My husband and I are currently based in NY and we knew we wanted to get married in the LA area because that's where we met. And since we're both resident physicians, we knew that we would not have the time or patience to do any of the things that are involved in planning a wedding (like talking to people? Nicely? And you can't say "stat" to make things happen immediately?). Candice, her team, and her whole milk package were the answers to our demanding prayers. Candice is the perfect mix of understanding and no-nonsense, and encouraged us to run with our quirky ideas but at the same time knew when to tell us when those ideas were running amok and we needed to rein it back a little. (A near verbatim response she had one time was, "Those are all good, but they're all over the place in terms of theme, and you need to pick one.") She understood our resident physician budget constraints in addition to our (at times, restricting) need to be different and not do anything too "played out." From the start, for every big decision that needed to be made (venue, photographer, catering, florals, etc), she would listen to our vague rambling about what we thought we wanted and would suggest 3-6 options in each category for us to choose from. The way she broke every decision up into tolerable bite-sized chunks (which were about as much as our attention spans can handle these days) made everything so easy and made this gargantuan task seem handleable. She checked in every so often with emails to make sure that we were on task with everything we needed to do, with the emails increasing in frequency closer to whatever deadline date we were chasing. She had an answer to every question and made all our design dreams come true, all under budget. We had a double happiness/steam basket display of dim sum for a late night snack, and she had stickers of us printed out and placed on those white folded Chinese takeout boxes so the guests could take dim sum home as favors. She made and painted our acrylic welcome/seating chart/all other signs. The personal touches she put on every detail of our wedding were incredible, and more than we could have imagined. On the day of, she and her team and their set of headsets that allowed for seamless communication also allowed for seamless execution. Her timeline had every detail of the day planned out and accounted for down to the minute, and she and her day of team made sure we didn't stray from it. The cleanup and breakdown was facilitated by her and her staff and we felt so secure that everything was taken care of that we could take the time and enjoy with our family and friends. If this review doesn't say it enough, I suggested Candice to one of my bridesmaids who's getting married next year and they signed with her and her whole milk package as well. If that's not a glowing recommendation, then I'm a pair of pants.

    **HIGHLY RECOMMENDED** It was an absolute delight to work with Candice. Like many couple who planned on a 2020 wedding, ours had to be rescheduled multiple times. Candice graciously walked us through everything we needed to take care of with so much care and compassion. Leading up to our big day, my now-wife and I had so many things we were stressed about, but Candice's keen ability to iron out details and clearly give instructions put our minds at ease. She provided us with REALISTIC ideas based on the budget we gave along with the timeframe that we had. With her long list of contacts, Candice was able to source many of the vendors we used (catering, rentals, etc.) including the venue that we decided to go with which took care many of the headaches we otherwise would have had to deal with. Simply put, if you are looking for a coordinator that is detail-oriented, caring, and has the ability to efficiently work through many of headaches, Candice and her team are the ones you will want to work with. Thank you Candice and Team! We are so forever thankful for everything you guys did for us.

We chose a partial planning package so we could collaborate closely for the months leading up to the wedding, and it made all the difference. From table layouts to glow bars and all of the creative ideas in between, Jessica helped bring everything to life and together seamlessly. Jessica and her team always found solutions that made our vision possible and wedding day stress free. We also hired a full support team from Three Little Birds in addition to Jessica, our day of planner and Bre, our coordinator, and that decision paid off in a big way. The entire Three Little Birds team kept everything running smoothly and effortlessly, setting up, moving us through the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing without a single hiccup. The event felt calm, organized, and joyful from start to finish, which allowed us to actually enjoy our day. We could not recommend Jessica and her team more highly.

    We had an unbelievably disappointing experience with 3 Little Birds for our chairs and linens…read morerentals during a corporate event. The team arrived almost an hour late, several seat cushions were visibly stained and even molded, the cushion covers were not all the same color we had asked for when booking, and some of their staff were rude to us. Members of our own team had to jump in to cover cushions, tie them to chairs, and set them up to attempt an on-time event start, despite having had many other things to take care of for the event. At one point, our own executive leadership, who had arrived to attend the event, were helping assemble chairs just to keep things moving. Post event, we expressed our extreme disappointment, and after some back and forth over the course of weeks, the company did acknowledge the issues and agreed to provide a partial refund. Unfortunately, despite months of follow-up and repeated assurances, it has now been over FIVE months, and the refund has still not been provided. I normally prefer to handle situations like this privately and give disappointing companies the benefit of the doubt. But the lack of follow-through and accountability has been incredibly frustrating here, so much time has been wasted with nothing to show for it. I am sharing our poor experience, complete with photos of how the rental items arrived, so others can make an informed decision when considering booking with this company.

Please continue reading and stop looking elsewhere and be completely convinced that you guys should go with MLE immediately! MLE was involved as our Day of Coordinator and planning activities 6 weeks leading up to the big day. Cindy's experience, consideration, professionalism, and honesty (this is a huge one) made what could have been a very stressful day into a stress-free day, or least as stress free as a wedding day can get it, haha. As the days approached the big day, we were already pretty happy with MLE, but once the big day came, they completely kicked it up into high gear. They were so seamless in working in the background to make everything come together with the vendors, timing, handling of guests, etc. We had a delay due to the florist, but they handled it so well that the guests couldn't tell, only we could, and even when we tried to get involved, MLE assured us that it was taken care of, and not to worry. They even went above and beyond in moving some flowers to be better positioned around our mirror guest list, which elevated how the florist had originally planned for. They were very considerate and thoughtful for us by making sure appetizers were set aside for us while we were taking pictures, we were very pleasantly surprised to find a big bowl of our seafood items sitting at our couples table, since we definitely didn't get a chance to get to it. Throughout the night, they made a point to bring us drinks, dessert, help with a small crisis on my mom's side. I really couldn't have imagined having a better coordinator the day of, I wish I had another big event to plan, because I would absolutely go back to them for their services. AND the amazing service doesn't even stop at the wedding day! Their follow up emails to reflect back on what went wrong or what went well shows how much they care about their work. They were very meticulous in addressing any concerns we had that happened on the big day and most importantly, they were honest. They were truthful about the reasons why some things didn't go as planned, and that to us is the most important trait in a coordinator that you can trust them. In the end, they were instrumental in even getting us partial refunds from vendors because of them not holding completely true to their agreements. If you've read this to its end, you don't need to look elsewhere, hire Cindy and her team now! You won't regret it!

    The Mad Love team took such incredible care of us throughout our entire wedding planning process…read more Cindy was so warm during our first call with her, and it really set the tone for all of our future interactions with the rest of her team! Shasele was our point of contact, and she was kind, thorough, and patient with us as we worked through all of our requirements and asked her a million different questions about the process. She also made sure to provide regular checklists of items to make sure we stayed on track, while also not putting too much pressure on us! Claire handled putting together a gorgeous design brief based on inspiration photos we gathered, which definitely helped as we went through the process of selecting and working with vendors--all of whom were also incredible! An important thing I also want to mention is that I had a sudden health issue flare up partway through our venue search, which set things back by a year. The team was incredibly understanding and checked in periodically while offering well wishes until I was ready to return to planning, and I deeply appreciate how patient they all were during such a difficult time. Overall we couldn't not have asked for a better planning team to work with, and we're so incredibly grateful to Mad Love Events for making our special day so perfect!

At one point we tried to design our own wedding invitations and quickly realized we were in over our heads. Candace asked if we were on schedule to send them out and when we told her we weren't... she offered to help. We ended up hiring her to do the invitations too and they turned out beautifully. And Katherine if you see this sorry for glitter bombing you with our wedding invitations. On the wedding day itself everything was hectic, as you'd expect. But Candace and her team handled everything and kept the day running smoothly. One small gesture that really stood out was when her team brought my wife and me snacks during cocktail hour since we hadn't had a chance to eat all day. That level of care meant a lot to us. I actually reached out to Candace again recently to recreate my wife's wedding bouquet for our 10 year anniversary, which reminded me that I never wrote a review. Even after all these years she was just as helpful and thoughtful as before. To add some context, we are bad at planning which is why we needed a planner in the first place. By the time we were looking for a planner, we had less than a year to get everything together. We needed someone to stay on top of us because we both tend to procrastinate on these type of things. Dee was one of the few planners that immediately followed up, and repeatedly followed up. She was also one of the only planners that, during the initial consultation, really started talking about numbers, and the thing that initially sold me was when she raised the fact that our wedding was close to Mother's Day, and how we need to reserve the flowers ASAP so we didn't gouged on the florals. As far as pricing, she wasn't the cheapest, but in comparison to some other planners I inter , I found her rates to be reasonable. While I'm sure most planners have relationships with vendors, I felt she always kept my budget in mind and chose the best value vendor for my budget while still maintaining the quality and high-end feel my wife wanted. As I hoped, she stayed on top of us and made sure we did what we needed to do. She was responsive and attentive, and walked and/or dragged us through every part of the exhaustive process that is planning a wedding. On the day of the wedding, we were incredibly pleased by the end result. Her and her team were there at the crack of dawn and hours after the wedding ended. We had a beautiful ceremony and reception, and I know it would literally have been impossible for us without her. Can't say enough good things. Also, as a little bonus, there were issues with the venue during the wedding (not her fault), and even after the wedding she's been helping me to navigate that process to help make me whole.
