I requested the vehicle's prior service history to better understand whether these issues existed before I purchased the car, but Porsche Cars North America stated that they would not provide previous service records due to privacy policies. In my case, I was repeatedly told that certain items were considered "wear and tear," even though the vehicle was sold as a Certified Pre-Owned Porsche. As a consumer, it can be frustrating to pay a premium for a CPO vehicle and later face expensive repairs that you believe should have been identified or addressed during the certification process. My advice: Before purchasing any CPO Porsche, ask detailed questions about: The condition of the suspension system and battery. Whether any components are near the end of their expected service life. What is and is not covered under the CPO warranty. Whether there are any pending recommendations or signs of wear that may lead to costly repairs shortly after purchase. As it has been over a year since the vehicle purchase, they advised that this matter has been discussed with you on several occasions. Porsche Stratham also shared with Porsche Cars North America that they have been in contact with you directly and have previously provided this information, along with an offer to appraise your vehicle. Their leadership team--including the General Manager and CEO--are aligned in this determination. As noted, Porsche Stratham remains available to appraise your vehicle should you wish to explore a potential buyback option. Additionally, Porsche Cars North America supports the Porsche Center's assessment and recommends proceeding with repairs through Porsche Gold Coast. We also reached out to Porsche Gold Coast on your behalf and spoke with Deja in their service department. They confirmed that the rear shock absorber is leaking and cracked, requiring replacement. Instead, I received damaged property and a blatant attempt at financial extortion. First, when picking up my vehicle, I discovered the dealership staff had covered the exterior paint in deep scratches. Under the legal standard of bailment, a service center has a strict duty of care to return a vehicle in the exact condition it was received. This establishment completely breached that duty. Second, they pulled a highly deceptive tactic with their loaner vehicle. Staff verbally assured me the vehicle had "no damage" and rushed me through the paperwork. I drove exactly three minutes down the road to an empty parking lot, inspected it, and found a scratch. When I immediately notified them, the service manager's response was, "We're gonna have to see how much that costs," clearly attempting to stick me with pre-existing damage. This is a textbook unfair and deceptive business practice. I am already documenting a formal complaint under Massachusetts G.L. Chapter 93A, escalations to MINI Corporate USA, and a report to the Massachusetts Attorney General's Consumer Advocacy and Response Division. Do not trust this service department. The part…read morewas delivered to them directly from my supplier, FCP Euro via UPS with a clear delivery photo. Client claims the box was crushed and the emblem was received cracked/damaged. We requested photos of the damage and offered to send a replacement, all of which is outlined in our terms of service posted to all marketplace listings. We recieved no response until the return was already initiated/return label provided. The delivery photo from UPS does not show any box damage at the time of delivery. Client has mailed the original shipping box and the part to me. Upon opening the return, there were two used/empty water bottles, minimal packing material and the cracked/damaged part which has been opened from the original protective packaging and clearly swapped for a damaged part. Why would you open a damaged part otherwise? These negligent and deceitful actions have been fully documented and reported to eBay and the Better Business Bureau. Please be aware of these concerns. I respectfully would not trust this dealership with any of my personal information, my vehicle(s) or to conduct any sort business within the automotive industry based on this poor experience.
