From there it took our waitress another 10 to see us. It shouldn't take that long when not busy. From there, our table of 6 ordered appetizers and mains. Our waitress struggled to get our order amendments and wasn't entirely friendly. I have to say though, she knew the GF options well. The food, while fairly good, came out incorrect for 2/6 mains. Mine was missing the chicken entirely, while another had the wrong side dish. We all ate what we got though and were fairly happy. I liked that I could share appetizers with everyone for once and really impressed at how much could be made gluten free. Most of my friends have their established favorites, so maybe as we continue to go I'll find one I really like and that's done well too.

I like the greens at CC better than the Earls kale mix. Fries were freshly made at both but CC beat out Earls on this front as well. So my take is this I love Earls as the gold standard for best Happy Hour meals for this category but this location seems lacking Case in point i asked my server if I may order the Wings but rather than Hot, I asked if they still did Salt and Pepper. I was told yes they offered it I got them but they were very poorly seasoned and lacked flavour. Upon arriving you'll note the bar, it is massive and inviting. From my perspective the best place to sit is the bar to really take in the place. The bar looks into the inner workings of the kitchen so you can really feel part of the process. Service was excellent. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Of note is they don't make you feel rushed, they are attentive but not intrusive. The food is amazing. Both of us were in the mood for a burger so we shared the Starbelly and Grilled Chicken burger. The kitchen took the extra step to divide both, giving us a chance to try both individually. I can't say enough about this place and I do hope they open a similar concept in the north.

The asparagus that came with it was seasoned perfectly and went well with the steak. I was happy that they allowed me to change my sides for the steak.
