The Grand Entry Hall is a soaring lobby that can accomodate private events and is the main display space for art shows. There is also an Event Hall that opens to the outdoor Terrace Theater. Concessions available are beer, wine, cocktails, soft drinks, and snacks. The facility is really quite spectacular. I recently visited to view the Roland Bernier retrospective which included a substantial selection of his work from the 1980s/1990s. The expansive lobby provided an excellent setting for his large-scale works. Additional art display space is available in the long hallway that leads from the lobby to the administration offices. The Arts Center has a busy schedule of theatrical and musical events that are presented in the Main Stage and Terrace theaters. There is also a regular schedule of art exhibits. This is a well-designed complex that offers many reasons to visit for those with an interest in many areas of the arts.

Yes, I'm definitely a fan of Cherry Creek Theater!…read more CCT is a relatively new addition to the Denver theater scene, and have just begun their second season of productions. They're so new, in fact, they don't actually have a traditional theater space. They partner with the Shaver-Ramsey rug gallery in Cherry Creek and hold their performances in the large room off to the side of the main showroom. The acoustics are wonderful, and the space works really well. The performance we saw was in-the-round, so there wasn't a bad seat in the place. They don't focus on one specific type of theater - you'll find dramas, comedies, even musicals. I suspect that anything you see will be quite good as they get some of the best acting talent in Denver, and do a solid job with their script selection. The CCT also offers refreshments before the show and during intermission, including wine, most of which seemed to just have a suggested "donation" amount. You are allowed to bring drinks into the theater - yay! They find places around the area (Whole Foods, for example) and bring in pretty decent bites. So, there you go - yet another theater in Denver you perhaps never knew was there. Check it out!

5-Star Review for Fiddler's Green…read more Fiddler's Green is hands-down one of the best outdoor venues around! The atmosphere is unbeatable--wide open sky, great energy, and every seat feels close to the action. The sound quality is amazing for an outdoor amphitheater, and the lawn seating makes it feel relaxed but still exciting. The staff is organized and friendly, security moves things along smoothly, and parking is way easier than most large venues. Lines for food and drinks go fast, and everything feels clean and well-run. Every concert I've been to here has been a blast. If you want an incredible Colorado concert experience, Fiddler's Green is the place to be! Five stars all the way!

I think this amphitheater is fine. Could it be better, oh yah!…read more Seats or grass, both are ok. This place has grassy space in the back half of the amphitheater and traditional reserved seating up front. They do have a VIP entrance if that matters. They have a bike valet. Lots of booze and easy food options. Nothing glamorous and everything expensive. You can bring a blanket in with bag search. I'd say this place holds between 20-30 thousand guests at capacity. It's sometimes crowded and that can make things unpleasant in the open seating. For Above and Beyond we sat in row 102 seats 114 and 115. Those were decent. Right next to the sounds booth so we saw all the acts come in and hang for a bit. We stayed at a local hotel and used the parking shuttle. One time we used lightrail to get back home in downtown and had to leave early to catch the last train. The train is easy. Bathrooms are ok. Lots of people working doing security and seat management etc. Parking seems challenging but never done it.
