Luckily, they did match it and I was able to schedule an appointment. I didn't know what to expect and since cold is NOT my thing, I only bought 1 session in 1 area. I chose to do my abs. Communication was awesome leading up to my appointment and they were able to get me in earlier than my Saturday 5p appt. Mariana did my Cryo Lipo and after taking my initial photos for progress, Mariana went in depth about the procedure and what to expect. The Cryp Lipo was a crazy experience...you start with blasts of nitrogen and it is cold. Mariana moved back and forth and between the cold and the noise, I think I held my breath for nearly the entire 2 minutes. There are 3 total nitrogen blasts. The next part is replacing the nitrogen blast with a frozen globe. I definitely liked that less than the blasts because it felt like cold acupuncture all over my abs. The globes are done twice and after you're all dressed, you stand on a vibration plate for 12 minutes. I think even after 1 session, I noticed a difference but I know I would need more sessions to get what I think would be ideal to tighten things up in conjunction with eating right and exercising. However, I am definitely glad that I did it and happy with my results. If you are thinking about cryo lipo, I would highly recommend Simply Amazing Spa for it!

I was running late due to traffic and arrived right on time for my massage, but I was a bit rushed and not fully settled mentally to ask detailed questions. During the service, my massage therapist, Melanie, mentioned that she was giving us a complimentary upgrade and began listing additional add-ons. We agreed to the CBD oil. No price was mentioned, and based on the wording "complimentary upgrade," I genuinely believed it was being offered for free as a nice gesture for my sister's birthday. After the massage and sauna, I checked out and was not charged for the CBD oil, which further reinforced that it was complimentary. However, the next morning I received a call stating that I needed to pay for the CBD oil treatment. (Which I end of doing). I explained that I believed it was complimentary and that had I known it was a paid add-on, I would not have chosen it. It wasn't something I needed or planned to add unless it was free. This situation was frustrating because it came down to unclear communication. The add-on should have been clearly explained as an extra charge, with pricing stated upfront. Using the word "complimentary" was misleading, and different wording should have been used to avoid confusion. The spa experience itself was wonderful, but the aftermath and how this was handled left me irritated. My advice to anyone visiting Simply Amazing Spa is to make sure you are fully focused and ask very clear questions about add-ons and pricing so you don't end up with unexpected charges after your visit.  The unclear and misleading communication about add-on services. An upgrade was described as "complimentary," no price was mentioned, and I wasn't charged at checkout, but was later asked to pay. After settling on a contractor for our fireplace remodel, we decided to go with IHT for our fireplace insert. IHT was competitively priced, and we were more impressed with their level of service vs. their competitor Lehrer. This got put to the test, as there seemed to be some sort of miscommunication between my contractor and the store. Rather than getting into the blame game, and focusing on what he couldn't do, Mike focused on what he COULD do, and tried to find a way to get the fireplace hooked up in the timeframe we needed before the baby was born, since every company was booked 3 weeks out for the holidays. They set us up with Willis, who completely rearranged his schedule just to fit us in less than a week. Talk about saving the day- not only did he deliver, but in a BIG way. He was super personable and friendly, explaining in careful detail everything that we needed to know about the new unit. When one of the bulbs blew, he even offered to swing by the next day to replace it, which was the not only the weekend, but also his day off, just to ensure we were all set. He even gave us a piece of siding to fix the old hole from his own inventory for free, and was also kind enough to give us a sample of his honey from his bee keeping hobby (absolutely delicious by the way!). Talk about going above and beyond. Seriously. You could tell how passionate he was about helping his customers, and the same could be said for Mike. Everything worked out, because we literally had the baby the very next day. We couldn't be more impressed with IHT, and will not hesitate to give them a call if we need anything at all. Only regret was not getting our Hot Tub from them!

Absolutely Horrible Experience with Marty at IHT…read more We recently purchased a Hot Springs hot tub from IHT and, while we absolutely love the tub itself, our experience with Marty was nothing short of a nightmare from start to finish. A close friend of mine sells Hot Springs tubs and had helped us narrow down the exact model we wanted, so we walked in as an extremely easy sale. Unfortunately, Marty seemed to take that as a license to stop trying. He made it very clear from the beginning that customer service was not a priority. After negotiating and agreeing on a price, Marty insisted that we drive through a snowstorm with summer tires to deliver a physical check that day, claiming it was the only way to lock in the price. We later learned that was completely false when the store called to take final payment--over the phone, via credit card, with no issues or added fees. Post-purchase, Marty continued to drop the ball. He was consistently rude, condescending, and disorganized. He referred to me by the wrong name multiple times, even after I corrected him. He also scheduled our orientation, then canceled it the night before at 9 PM via text--saying his grandchild was sick and he needed the day off. I responded understandingly, expressing concern, but also letting him know how unprofessional that was. He never responded. The next morning, I called the store to follow up--only to have Marty answer the phone. When I asked why he was at work after canceling our appointment to supposedly care for his grandchild, he became defensive and rude instead of owning up to the situation or apologizing. When I expressed how upset I was about the entire experience and the promises he hadn't followed through on, he cut me off and started aggressively questioning what he hadn't delivered on. For an $18,000 purchase, I expected far better treatment--especially from a sales rep earning commission. Marty was dismissive, unprofessional, and made an exciting purchase stressful and frustrating. If you go to IHT and Marty is the rep who greets you, RUN the other direction!! I truly don't know how he's still employed there. Again--the tub itself is fantastic. But the experience getting there, thanks to Marty, was absolutely awful.

In theory, you could stay in the chamber for as little or as long as desired, though they do tell you about the 20-40 degree goal in skin temperature drop after a session and how beyond 40 degrees isn't really beneficial or recommended. I ended up doing about 3 minutes with a break of a few seconds in the middle and loved the way I felt afterward, not to mention how I slept that night. The prices are much more reasonable than other places in the area and they have a wider range of services as well. Zivel is the move!

Checking out was equally slow. The host was giving a lady a demonstration on the beer bar and he could have kindly asked to be excused to check us out, but instead he let us sit for over 15 minutes as he gave the gal samples.

I am very much a spa girly and this is one of the most unique spa experiences I have ever…read moreencountered. From the moment you enter the spa, it smells like pure relaxation. As lovely as the common area and patio are, it belies the relaxation that awaits in your private spa room. Before you are escorted to your room, you are offered your choice of locally made beer (My favorite was the "beer flavored beer", which tasted like.... Beer), as well as wine, kombucha, juice, or seltzer water. The drinks are served in a stainless steel insulated tumbler so you don't have to worry about breaks or spills. There are also complimentary snacks available including banana chips and an absolutely delicious savory trail mix. There's also a bathtub full of plastic "bubbles" (think 'grown-up ball pit', but a bathtub) in the common area which invites you to take your most Instagrammable shot. The spa even has a monthly competition for the best photo submission. I appreciate the intentionality with which this spa was designed. Truly they thought of (almost) everything: Hair ties, shower caps, hair dryers, plastic bags for wet clothes, their beer infused shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion offered both in the private room as well as in the common areas, a pitcher of water on the edge of the tub (Because one cannot live off of beer alone).... Even conversation cards containing thought provoking questions placed strategically throughout the facility (Even in your private infrared spa). This is not just an opportunity to relax, but to deepen connection. I came here with one of my friends and in addition to feeling infinitely more relaxed, I left here feeling like my friend and I got to know each other on a much more substantive and meaningful level as a result of this experience. Now before you ask... No, you are not soaking in a tub full of beer. (That was my initial concern, and I almost passed on visiting this spa because of said concern). Instead, you are soaking in a deep stainless steel soaking tub that is full of water and infused with your choice of herbs and aromatics. The room also comes with a CBD infused bath bomb, as well as a CBD and mushroom infused mud mask for extra relaxation and detoxification. The water temperature was absolutely perfect: Nice and steamy but not too hot. The soaking experience was simply not long enough... Which is not a slight to the staff or the facility at all. Just a testament to how relaxing the experience is. I could have stayed there soaking all day without a care in the world. Once we reached the end of our soaking experience, the tub started to automatically drain on its own. We used that time to shower, moisturize, and proceed to the next part of our spa experience... The massage room. The room is dark with small twinkling lights on the ceiling that kinda look like stars and the night sky. There are several zero-gravity massage chairs in the room, but do not be mistaken... These are NOT your run-of-the-mill nail salon pedicure spa chairs. These massage chairs mean business! Even on the lowest setting, my muscles were still sore for several days afterwards because that kneading function gets all up in those muscle fibers. Several times I found myself breathing through the massage like I was having contractions... Especially as those rollers made repeated passes over my lower back. It was definitely the most thorough and intense chair massage I have ever received. Each of the staff members we encountered was absolutely wonderful; Friendly and welcoming, answered all of our questions, gave us plenty of time to take pictures and video to capture the moment and really make the most of the spa experience. Our drinks were never empty and our every need was provided for. The only piece of feedback I have to offer is that it would be great if there were swimsuit dryer spinner on site. I was flying back home immediately after my spa experience and I had to bring my sopping wet swimsuit back with me. I double bagged it to make sure it didn't leak all over the place, but it would have been great to dry it out a bit before putting it back in my suitcase. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It's likely the most unique spa experience you will ever have... Even if you are not a beer enthusiast.

They ignored her requests to stop the charge along with my calls to address this issue. Writing this review to warn others of their shady business practices. Edit: Responding to the business owner's response below since I can't directly reply. It's very apparent that you gave my elderly mother the impression that she was signing for a one-time service. You mentioned a cancellation fee (your acknowledgement that she did try to contact you to tell you that it wasn't what was explained to her), but this "one-month cancellation fee" was an ongoing charge for several months until she had to dispute. You had her credit card number and you kept charging it, plain and simple, even when she FAIRLY tried to tell you first that it wasn't what she signed up for. And she tried to call again and you ignored her. And I tried to reach you a few days ago and you ignored me. What this looks like is you saw a woman in her 70s walk into your store and saw the opportunity to keep charging her through obfuscation and misdirection. Again, I tried to contact you directly so that you could explain, but you ignored it. And your reply only confirms my suspicions about your unscrupulous intentions with my mother. If you were running a "fair" business you should actually listen to your customer's issues instead of a hair-trigger reaction to charge "cancellation fees" (which again I think is a disingenuous explanation for multiple charges of $160).
