[3] none of their reviews are more recent than 11 months ago, and I felt like doing someone a favor today! ‍So the wait for a walk-ins was too long for my schedule today. I waited 20mins with no sign of my turn approaching, so I had to leave. My observations during my wait however, were that Fashion Nails has a clean establishment, polite and professional employees, and lots of regular clients. There was no acknowledgement by any of the staff upon my entry but a cacophony of "Hellos", "How are you"s and "What service can we offer" when a woman devoid of melanin entered at 11:20...Hmmm. The greeting was noticeably skewed and I noted at that point every customer save one, embodied the various shades of the African Diaspora including the only waiting patron, sitting with me at the lobby entrance. She called out to the manager/owner with whom she seemed familiar, and told her that I had an appointment and no one had spoken to me since I arrived. The manager/owner rushed over... asked what I was having done...never requested my name nor consulted her appointment book...I'm sure the conversations by phone were only lip service to get me to their door...SMH with disgust. I was walked over to a pedicure chair and I turned on a manual massage setting to relax and lower my blood pressure. An older gentleman came over and switched my massage mode to a higher setting without my request or consent, then started to place the liner in the foot-bath with no dialogue nor consideration for my comfort level. He indicated that I should test the water temp and place my feet in the filled unit then walked away. After 10 minutes I removed my feet as no one was headed my way to begin the treatments. 20 minutes later I noticed that the person who had entered after me with the fanfare was being attended to, without a prior appointment, plus someone who had come in after me seemed scheduled to be next and my query re when I would be seen did not bear a response that was intelligible. I asked for a towel to dry my feet thoroughly and left. Never to return. Do not give your time and hard earned money to those who do not value you. There are too many places from which to choose that provide decent, respectful courtesy to allow disregard to reign.

I've never seen it the other way around. They treat blacks as if they are getting a favor done versus treating other customers with a friendly appreciation. They know the apartments clients will come and overlook the snideness. Change their minds go somewhere else with your money

Calling multiple times, leaving a voice message sending text are not returned. I've witnessed her contact back spanish speaking customers and I've also witnessed other English speaking customers express being ignored and unable to get appointments unless you physically go to the nail shop. In Atlanta it's way to many talented nail techs to choose from so why beg one person. Nope! Can't do it and won't be back nor will I recommend her services or staff to anyone else.
