There is an easily accessible parking lot, plenty of shaded outdoor seating, and truly too many products to choose from. They have "Sunday Bagels" daily, along with other delicious local pastries. I HIGHLY suggest stopping by, even if you're not close to Corrales. The prices can be a bit high for their coffees, but I love that they have a rotating specialty menu and use real honey. If you are a tin fish person like me- they have the largest selection of Fishwife I've ever seen!

Turned out, when I looked it up on a map app, I pass by Pasando Tiempo Winery Tasting Room on Alameda / Hwy 528 several times a month. I guess I need to learn to pay more attention. Some of the best places are right in front of you and you don't even see them. I think Pasando Tiempo Wine Tasting Room has been in this location for a year+ and I was just oblivious. Ugh. Think of all the opportunities I have missed. Never again. Nice, new building, but it would be easy to get it confused with the bank that shares the same location. It is a great location, but they need better signage for those of us with tunnel vision. They have an outside patio, but the weather was a little nippy when I was there - next Spring & Summer it will be pleasant and the view across the valley of the Sandia Mountains will be perfect. The Tasting Room is big and modern. with a separate room for special events. The tasting bar was longer than usual, but accommodated everyone who stepped up to order one of their great wines. I was given a taste of the "7 Briks". Oh my, it was delightful. Sweet, but too much. I generally don;t care for sweet wines, except for an after dinner drink . . . but the "7 Briks" was exceptional. Next time, if I can bring myself to do so, I will try their other wines. The NMHWC event was wonderful. The Pasando Tiempo staff were friendly and professional. The wine - - well the PT wine was like a cherry on the top of a great Holiday experience.

The place was large, ceilings high and there was plenty of seating at the massive bar and various tables. In the warmer months when the NM wind is not blowing, the outdoor seating is cozy. I came in and sat at the bar. Martha did great explaining all the wines, suggested options I may like. She even convinced me to try their Chardonnay, which generally is not my first choice and actually turned out to be my favorite. Bought a bottle to take home. Chris came in while I was there, the "wine maker" even a sommelier. At this point I'm extra thankful that I'm the only one there. I started asking questions and he was so great! Explaining his love for each season of wine making, explaining how trying different wines was good, our palettes change, we talked about corks, and food pairings and how he doesn't make sweet wine and so much more, in fact so many wonderful topics about wine that I left knowing more than when I entered for a mid-afternoon tasting. I enjoyed his knowledge and honesty & thankful that Martha gave me Chardonnay to try. Sometimes we just have to step out of the box and while we may like a certain wine it's good to try others because like me, you'll enjoy something you didn't think you would. Get your friends and your loved ones or go it alone and visit their beautiful location for local wines and if wine isn't your thing, have a local distillery cocktail or a beer. If you're hungry get a charcuterie board. Friday and Saturday night there's music and food trucks. Extra parking in the dirt lot except when the Christmas trees are there. I'll be sure to return alone and with friends. Highly recommend. Thank you Chris and Martha for a wonderful afternoon.

We had a reservation for 11:30am and arrived on time, but ended up waiting outside for about 10 minutes with no staff in sight. We called multiple times for assistance before anyone came out. To make matters worse, the friend who made the reservation was never informed that brunch is held in the private club and not the e restaurant, which caused unnecessary confusion right from the start. Once a waiter finally found us, we were taken to the private club where we were told they only had three brunch menu items available that day. We ordered immediately, along with waters and mimosas. Keep in mind, there were only two tables total--our group of three and another group of seven--so it wasn't busy. Despite that, service was extremely slow. It took 20 minutes just to get our mimosas, and our waters were forgotten and didn't come out until another 10 minutes later. Our food took about 40 minutes, which felt excessive given how few people were there. Even more frustrating, my friends' meals came out about 10 minutes before mine. There's really no reason meals at the same table shouldn't be served together. The food itself was just okay. The only standout was the French toast, which was actually really good--and honestly the only reason this review isn't one star. I also ordered coffee and was told they don't carry creamer, which is surprising for a place offering brunch. Our waitress rarely checked on us throughout the meal, which added to the overall lack of service. Between the confusion, long wait times, and lack of attention, this experience didn't meet expectations. I won't be returning.

The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with a really cool art-gallery vibe throughout the space. The wine selection was impressive--lots of unique New Mexico wines to choose from, and the tasting flights are a great way to try several different varieties. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, offering recommendations based on what we liked and explaining the wines without making it feel intimidating. We also tried a cheese board which paired perfectly with the wine and made the whole experience feel a little extra special. Whether you're a serious wine enthusiast or just looking for a fun stop while exploring Old Town, this place is definitely worth checking out. Great wine, great vibe, and great service. Awesome review, Sandra. You nailed the basics, thanks for creating this biz listing. The Corrales…read moreBike & Wine Tour could (and should) be a defining celebration of this antiquated, lovely little town north of Albuquerque. I've lived here nearly 20 years, and this tour opened my eyes to the breadth of Corrales I'd never previously known. It's a great bike ride and a smart way to taste some craft wineries. A twelve mile loop, you can plan to spend an afternoon leisurely sipping some tasty pours and exploring this territory. My basic perceptions: Corrales needs to get behind this, support it, and provide a safe cycling lane, a big one, for the entirety of the event. From the get-go, the loop didn't feel safe for cyclists. The Duke City Marathon, for example, allows runners an avenue (the bosque trail) to run free. The same should be true for this tour, moreso because the riders have sipped a few glasses. On the day of the Tour there should be a well regulated and carefully policed lane for cyclists. Some idiot honked at me when I attempted to pass another biker on the road. I didn't tell him/her then, but I'll say it now: fuck off, asshat. We own the road as much as you do. The wineries that represent are typical of New Mexican vino, a smattering of sweet stuff and a few adventurous pours. TAKE A MOUNTAIN BIKE, the ride to Corrales Winery will not support your street bike. Come for the adventure. I never knew this tiny town had a flourishing suburban heart, and I was thrilled to discover the outskirts, even if they looked precisely like Rio Rancho proper. Good wine, good ride, good times. Next April, put this on your calendar.

First of my friends and I are in no means "great shape" I would say we are your average moms. If you're not an expert bike rider like us, here are some tips if you decide to try it in August or next year. First, if you're not familiar with area, check out the map and take a quick cruise to see if it's something you can do. Pack plenty of water and some snacks to enjoy while you rest at each stop. My friends and I packed some fruit, cheese and crackers and it kept us energized. My last piece of advice would be to definitely wear a helmet. It's not mandatory, but the ride is mostly along a busy road. Better to be safe than sorry right? It was a great experience, friends and I had a blast and it was great to try the different wines. At the end of the tour, they had a Jazz band and food for everyone so that made the experience even better. Oh and if you buy a bottle at one of the wineries, you don't have to worry about how you're going to carry it because they have this great service that picks up your bottle(s) from the wineries with your name on them and you can claim them at the end. I recommend this event for any wine lover. My friends and I will be doing it again next year.
