Everything started out pretty well with the Milagro Center. But it looks like they might be having some issues making the business model thrive, sustaining the clientele. A lot of the employees of the different restaurants seem to be getting fed up with lack of information and stagnant growth. The Mercado area sits vacant. My hope is the owners see this and come up with a game plan to get all the employees of the center synced up and excited to be there. Special events once a month or in this Center Courtyard area would be great as well. read more

My family comes here all the time for the sushi & drinks. Very welcoming atmosphere and the food tastes pretty good. They have a good selection of restaurants as well from sushi to burgers, and also pizza. Would definitely recommend to friends read more

The Milagros Center has developed into a terrific gathering spot for friends and family! There is a variety of food and beverage choices as well as some nice common use areas. I love The Patriot restaurant, but this visit was focused on dessert!! There is a wonderful gelato and sorbet shop as well as a fancy cupcake bakery. I chose a refreshing, highly flavorful Tangerine sorbet that was absolutely fantastic. From the cupcake shop I ordered a mini cranberry-orange cake with a buttercream frosting and a sprinkle of poppy seeds. The sponge had good flavor but the texture and density was more muffin than cake. Overall, it was a bit dry. Sitting in the common area, listening to the water feature and the soft background music while enjoying dessert and conversation, was a perfect end to a perfect day! read more

Sadly I think the move for Serrritellas will turn out to be a bad one. We really wanted to enjoy a nice tasty meal, after a 20 min wait to be seated at a table that was available the entire time we ordered our meal. The meal took over one hour to arrive, it was warm at best. Then because of a mix up my wife was offered for free another pasta dish, but somehow it ended up on the bill. After getting it removed, I filled out the bill and my wife noticed the "suggested tip amounts" were way off. I know they recently just opened in this location and might have to work out some of the problems, but the issues tonight were very basic. I hope our next visit proves me wrong because tonight was not a $72.00 value by any means. read more

Ok it's in a nice part of town and it's not that's it's a bad place to get dinner we were a party of 6 one adult and five kids lots of indecisiveness going on but we got through it. I know going into this I was going to make the tip worth it for the folks serving us got the bill not bad 200 and change put a twenty on the table as a tip then later that night looked at the bill I didn't realize there was a 33 dollar gratuity surcharge on the I guess a 53 was not bad for adult plate and a bunch of cheese quesadillas if I ever make it back to that side of town I'll be a little bit more carful when I pay the bill read more

Would love this place to be better and hope they consider a different daytime mood than what they set at night. I went on a beautiful cold and gloomy Friday morning. Thought it would be the perfect place to sit outside by the fire with a cup of coffee and a book. The fire wasn't lit, the outdoor heaters were not on and the music was loud pop music. I would have loved to be able to relax and enjoy my morning but that was not the experience I had. It seems like it might help to have a day and night set up and to make adjustments accordingly. I won't likely be back in the daytime and go to Temple instead. read more

Have lived in Carmichael most of my life. My neighbor is actually the developer of Milagro, and that is one of the reasons I decided to go last week (to see the fruits of his labor of love), but it has nothing to do with my review. Carmichael has needed this place for so long. There are lots of mid and lower level restaurants, but nothing on the upper end of the spectrum, and nothing with an ambiance that you want to spend your whole day or evening in. I can already tell that this is a place I am going to back to for years and years to come. The only restaurant open so far is RCBC, but wow is the food good and the interior gorgeous. There's something to say about simple American fare done right, and their small menu knocks it out of the park. My burger was juicy and delicious. And you can tell that the designer of the interior pored over the smallest detail. Everything down to the light fixtures and the custom Edison bulbs hanging over the bar is something to stare at in wonder. I can't wait to see all the small wonders and easter eggs in the décor of the other eateries. Carmichaek finally has its own destination restaurant. All of Sacramento will be flocking to us for months if not years to come. read more

I love Milagro Centre, I wish there were more restaurants but maybe that will happen over time. The best thing to do at Milagro is grab a beer at River City Brewing then go to the taco stand around the corner from Mesa Mercado, order two carne asada tacos and some chips and salsa and find a place to sit and people watch, read or just chill. This review goes to the coffeeshop inside the centre. I am a cold brew snob and love ordering cold brew from Insight coffee! I don't mind the 18 minute drive to Carmichael just for a nice cuppa and quiet study area. I've been studying for the NCLEX and legit need a nice quiet place free from noise and crowds. This is my go-to place for that. Unfortunately, there are not enough outlets to charge your laptop to study. Usually I come on the weekdays to beat the crowd and secure that one spot next to the one outlet on the side lol. Other than that, I love the peace and quiet of the center including the coffee! First of all, how is this in Carmichael of all places??? This is the kind of thing I see in the Bay Area, not something I would expect to see in Sacramento. Seriously cool indoor / upscale food court type restaurant space that features a Mexican cantina / taco place, brewery, poke bowls, coffee roasters and a wedding cake bakery and more. This place reminds me of the Oxbow market in Napa. The place is huge (think open concept) with fountains, giant outdoor fireplace with shade structure, great places to relax & eat, with nicely designed grounds and ample parking too. Seriously it's a beautifully designed space. Love the concept and am excited to bring my family up here to try it again. Tried the tacos at the cantina place, they were great. read more

I love that Carmichael has a secret restaurant mall. Went to Patriots for dinner and drinks with my wife. Service was great and the food was exceptional. I'm giving this place two stars because my boyfriend and I have been coming here to study for about a year now. We go to the Gelato place to the right when you first walk into the left building, and come one to two times a week. We always stay in the very back corner and keep our earphones in, only taking one small table in the very back. There's barely any people that come and sit down, it only tends to get a bit busier at night, but I've never seen anyone struggle to find a table since the business never gets filled up. In the past year coming here, the female worker who is always working (the older woman with glasses and black short hair) has never glanced at me, never smiles back when I smile at her, and has always appeared very cold with no customer service skills. In our very last encounter, we entered Milagro and we see her glaring at us from across the room. I smile at her, but she does not smile back, just continues to stare at me. She was on her cell phone, which she is on 99% of the time during her shift watching loud videos and having her ringer on high. She looks at us and begins to yell at us, telling us that we're not allowed to study here because it's not a library, it's not a public area, and it's for customers only, even though we have purchased food and gelato multiple times over the last year. My boyfriend politely asked for clarification, but she had an extremely rude tone to her voice and barely gave us eye contact as she's talking to us, having her eyes glued to her phone. I then asked her why she has never told us we were not allowed to study here in the last year, and she responds with "It's obviously common sense, why would I have tell you if it's common sense?" I told her that clearly if we knew this information we would not continue to study here which she ignored, then barked back with, "If you want to stay you could stay, but just so you know you're not welcome." It was an extremely rude and unnecessary encounter, especially coming from a place that we have loved to study and dine in for the past year. My boyfriend and I just wanted clarification, and we have always been very polite and respectful people, but for someone to bark at us the way she did out of nowhere, was not okay. I hope this post gets brought to her attention because that is no way to deal with customers. I also work in the customer service industry, and I know how difficult working with people can be. But I know to leave my emotion and attitude at home before coming to work, especially dealing with people who are unclear about the rules, and especially to people who have never caused any issues and have been respectful since day 1. She was very unprofessional, and even though my boyfriend and I have loved Milagro for a long time, we will no longer be coming here. I really hope the female worker sees this and hopefully changes the way she approaches situations like this one for the future. read more

BE CAREFUL I was a big fan of the Milargo Centre. I have been to school fundraisers and enjoyed the restaurants many times but on Cinco De Mayo I took a employee to lunch and sat down outside of American River Brew, our drinks and water arrived and I was having a good chat. I had noticed some workers next to the restaurant and before we knew it there was a mist that was coming down on us, as I looked up to find out were it was coming from I saw a guy sitting on the back of pickup truck spraying herbicides on a crack in the pavement. Ok, it's lunch time on Friday with a 11 MPH South wind in our faces. I told the staff and had to walk over and tell these idiots what they were doing. Anyway it didn't do a thing and American Brew replaced our waters and drinks but NOTHING was done. I gave them my phone number and asked for a follow up call. (They never called me back to explain what actions were taken or apologize) I feel like they really don't give a rip about there customers and are just chasing the buck. I went back to American River Brew shortly after because I met some local buddies for a bear. I was told that Milargo owns the lot were these guys were spraying and They had hired the two bozo's who were supposedly general contractors to spray there overgrown lot. NICE! I think they should have at least given me a call, Way to support the very people who bring in the money, way to keep your customers safe, way to follow up and make sure that it's not going to happen again. I am glad I didn't have a my wife and baby with me. I won't support a cheap and risky establishment like the Milargo center. It's to bad this happened and it's to bad that they don't care about it. read more

I find some reason to come here at least once a month - I live by Ancil Hoffman so it's not out of my way. Other than the recently opened Patriot, I've tried every eatery housed in both buildings and don't have a single bad thing to say. I am a huge fan of the open design and love the outdoor patio that connects the two buildings. Every friend I've brought to Milagro - many live in Roseville/Rocklin/Suburbia - is excited to tell their spouse and leave their bubble to come out this way for the food and the experience. I love that this is centrally located and not downtown or in the 'burbs. Plus, it's always fun to reminisce with a friend about the times we came out to the El Dorado Saloon, which previously occupied the property. (Don't judge) read more

As a reviewer I love the Milagrol. It's beautiful. I've visited some of the places and I love them all. I only had one issue with The Patriot but it's nothing foodwise. The food is absolutely great! milagros is a super cool atmosphere. decor modern cool. ate at "the patriot" and had their calamari appetizer with a spicy bite to it (YUMMMMM)!!! for entre had the ahi poke special for 2, ordered seared, was good (had to request some wasabi and soy sc) for reasonable price since it came with a bottle of wine. tasty!!! several types of cuisine to choose from in a one-stop place; including a mico brewery on site.
