(Shopped 01/13/16 W @ 5:00pm): I'd buy all the liquor in this joint if any of these Powerball tickets paid off! The chance to win over one billion dollars brought me to Mikron Liquor as I was on my way home from working at a nearby property. Truth-be-told, if it weren't for proximity and the want of enough money which I could then fill a vault, dive deep into it, swim around, and then let it fall upon my head, I really didn't have any other reason to have stopped. Having said that, was this place worthwhile to ever stop in again unless by sheer happenstance!?: Powerball Tickets ($2.00 x 3) - What...we can all dream, right!? Needless to say, I was still leading the same hum-drum life but $6.00 lighter in the pocket! http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=wwXBTB63rFbA6XAor-YqYw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Service - There really were only a few of us patrons and no surprise we were all degenerate gamblers who hoped to hit the jackpot! Two Asian men worked behind the counter but only one of them was actually helping customers while the other just stood around at arm's length and looked dumbfounded...or drunk! Whatever, I got my Quick Picks scanned in, my cash money taken, and that was that. Primitive grunts was the extend of anything considered a conversation. Parking (Free) - They shared a small private parking lot with a handful of other businesses within the outdoor strip mall they were located in. Otherwise, there was plenty of free non-metered parking along the main drag of Siiver Lake Blvd. as well as nearby mostly residential side streets. Atmosphere, décor, ambience - Your stereotypical off-the-beaten-path liquor store with the requisite amount and selection of various alcoholic beverages (surprisingly good, actually!), the usual assortment of candy, packaged snacks, stationery, toiletries, etc., all crammed onto shelves as you walked nearly sideways down each narrow aisle. The walls and windows were haphazardly covered with promotional alcohol posters which added to the grittiness of this place. Mostly electric ceiling lighting filled this lair while natural lighting was able to creep through the front opened door. I noticed at least one TV at the very front counter but no background music. http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=7u9XSn6KKsMbQGQf74oavA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Attire - Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. Overall, I'm sure Mikron Liquor was fine for those who lived in the neighborhood when they needed to grab something quick, but there was no way I was going out of my way to come here unless for an emergency. There was no character, charisma, or charm. Seriously...this place was what it was an nothing more to me. BUT...if I had won any amount of money from my Powerball tickets, I'm sure my tune might be a bit more favorable. Of course, prices were generally higher than any grocery stores, but that's the price you paid for convenience, I found decent value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $6.00; no tip required). And, although lottery tickets can only be purchased with cash, they accepted my credit card of choice...AMEX! 2.5 STARS

The bottle I received the size that I ordered, not the bigger one. They charged be an add of $3 for no reason. Delivery

Ordered on Ubereats. They adjusted my order by adding an extra charge of $3 stating that I requested a bigger bottle of wine..... I never did. But I decided okay, may be they don't have the regular bottle and gonna send me a bigger one( which I don't know if it even exists, unless it's a cheaper wine from the grocery store ). Nope, received the same size of the wine bottle as I originally ordered. I tried to call them, they never picked up (5 times). I couldn't even say "no" on the app or even agree/ disagree on the price, because they did it when they sent the drive off . I contacted ubereats, but all I get is "we understand your frustration and we will the store know to prevent the future blah blah". So this place can adjust your order however they want and there is nothing you can do about it. I know it's just $3, but seriously you can't just change the price a very last minute and claim, that I requested a bigger bottle. + deliver the same size ( regular size of the wine bottle ). Next time, they can add up a $100 and there is nothing you can do about it. Do not order from this place, unless you want to be fooled. P. S. In case you are wondering if I left tips for the driver , yes I did, but it shows as a septet as charge, when you pay with "venmo" app.

Great customer service, a reliable assortment of odd goods for any last-minute store venture. Above and beyond for a local liquor store.

It's expensive and they add a debit card fee without telling you of 50c no matter what the total amount is.

Sleek cocktail bar located smack dab in the center of the high foot traffic area of Little Tokyo…read more A great selection of whiskey and a solid cocktail menu with good happy hour specials. It's not surprising given the neighborhood and decor, but I think they lean towards more Japanese spirits and beers. For someone like me who's never been to Japan I feel like there's a traditional Japanese theme going on inside with lots of wood. A few friends and I came here on a holiday before dinner. Happy hour specials were still going on. I'm not sure if they thought they were gonna get that much business on a holiday but I think there's only maybe one or two people behind the bar. Since it was early when we got there, it was still not that crowded. I got the special which was a shot of Japanese whisky and a beer. Great price! Haha. I've walked by before where this place is really crowded so I assume there's a lot more people working behind the bar during the regular busy hours. Just a great place to grab drink drinks.

No exceptions, as I witnessed a family who really wanted to come in but had an 18 yr old so they weren't allowed in and because they had a minor with them they couldn't even sit outside in their seating area. Always good to know. Inside the bar got super busy. The inside was a bit dark but again it is a bar. I like the decor and the bar seating was packed. The drinks were good if you like whiskey they have it along with lists of beer options. Nice spot to try out.

The place has a really cool, laid-back vibe spacious, industrial style, and super inviting. It got busy, but the staff handled it well and were friendly the whole time. I don't drink, but my friends all grabbed beers and kept saying how good they were (they're definitely known for their craft beers). Everyone was happy, which says a lot! I just enjoyed the atmosphere and the energy of the crowd. There's plenty of seating, clean bathrooms (always important), and even a separate room with a stage, so it looks like they host live music and events too. Big plus: it feels like a great spot to hang out after a run or meet up with friends. I've also heard they often have food trucks, which makes it even better. Overall, great vibes, good service, and a fun place to unwind. Would definitely come back with the group!

Even on a soggy, rainy day, this place delivered great vibes. We arrived a bit early and got to explore both rooms, which was a fun experience in itself. The first room had karaoke, long tables and benches, cozy sofas, dart machines, a photo booth, games, and restrooms. It's also very pet-friendly--as long as your dog is leashed. They even have water bowls for pets, which we loved. The second room to the right has board games, two pool tables, high tops, more seating, sofas, and the main bar. The whole space has a rustic, industrial feel with lots of cool hanging plants, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Everyone was friendly and kind. There was a food truck on site, and we also got lucky with a mobile churro vendor called Hippie Churro--we ordered two churros (one strawberry-filled and one plain), and they were delicious. $7 well spent. We enjoyed a michelada and an IPA, played Jenga, listened to music, and caught some karaoke performances. Overall, an amazing night with great energy and a solid setup for hanging out, playing games, and just enjoying the moment. We'll definitely be back soon.

Naturally, we followed the music... and wow, what a vibe! This place is such a vibe-y outdoor hangout spot. Super cute, super chill. The first thing you see? A full bar built into a refurbished 1954 Spartan Trailercoach and yes, it's as cool as it sounds, serving beer and craft cocktails. The music was bumpin', the energy was up, but it still had this cozy, intimate feel. Perfect combo. My boyfriend and I both got the Paloma and we snagged a spot in the back to catch the DJ doing his thing. Our table was a little wobbly and my cocktail tipped! Such a bummer but the bartender didn't miss a beat. She sent someone to clean it up immediately and replaced my drink with a fresh one. Didn't catch her name but shoutout to her for the amazing service! There was a big group nearby just vibing, laughing, and living their best life. The whole place felt like a spontaneous backyard party you never want to leave. So glad we wandered in this is definitely a new fave.
