We came here for some quick Italian ice. The staff is great here and they have a lot of flavors to choose from. The prices are fair and their Italian ice taste great. We got lemonade, pineapple/coconut, and strawberry/lemonade. They were all delicious. The only thing I would have preferred is for when you ask for two flavors for them to put them in vertically so you have both flavors evenly spread. I didn't care for the mango, passion fruit was good a sour. I tried the coconut from my sister and it was pleasantly delicious. I'm reducing stars because of the flavor, the ice is really really small which was a bizarre texture and the price was pretty steep. $4 for the small which is the size of a tiny styrofoam cup you used to get free coffee out of, if you can remember. Also no bike racks close by, but the service was quick and they all were wearing masks, antibacterial was available and they have a great proximity to Palmer square. read more

This shop wasn't crowded on the lousy weather day I visited it on. I sampled a sour cherry flavored ice. This isn't like a New Orleans snoball or Hawaiian shaved ice that required preparation; they just scooped it right out. The sour cherry flavor had noticeable cherry fragments, but the taste didn't really give me that clash of sour on sweet that I craved for some reason. It might have been more interesting to get a combination, which I didn't do, and I do imagine it being quite refreshing during a Chicago summer (it gets hot in Chicago eventually, right?). read more
