We ended walking out. We waited to see the doctor for 45 minutes....in a little room. No one came in to see if we were okay or needed anything or tell us how soon the doctor would see us. We finally poked our heads out the door and asked one of the 6 workers standing there....only to find out there were still 2 people ahead of us. We left. When we got out to the main waiting room there were at least 12 people waiting. I informed them of our situation and several of them ended up leaving. He needs to space his appointments out and train his staff to follow up when patients have been waiting. read more

I've had a problem with my foot for over 6 months that I thought was minor and I could fix myself. I tried acupuncture, changing shoes etc. Long story short, I was avoiding a Dr because I thought I might be difficult with insurance and have to go through a bunch of red tape. Turns out I was totally wrong. I called, told them my insurance, they confirmed they used that insurance and made an appointment for the next day! The Dr immediately diagnosed my issue and I'm now in the midst of treatment. I SO WISH I would've done this months ago, and not have waited until my symptoms were worse. Dr. Jarman has seen my son for just under a year. He diagnosed him and worked with us over time to find the best solution. He listens to the us and in the end my son had surgery on both his feet. He has been amazing throughout the whole process- trying to avoid surgery but in the end deciding it was the best option. We would highly recommend him. His entire office staff is wonderful and we have been seeing fairly promptly each time we have been in. read more

Dr. Jarman is a great doctor and took care of my toenail quickly and with excellent bedside manner. I'm giving 5-stars for his excellent medical care. His staff was also great, very friendly and efficient. My only complaint is that it appears the biopsy is not covered by my BCBS insurance at all (half the complaint is against them--but this tells me that a biopsy was probably unnecessary from their perspective) and was likely entirely unnecessary (he said he was 99.9% sure of what it was at the initial consult). I probably could have declined the biopsy of the nail and just started the medication and saved myself $166.88 in "patient responsibility". Also, skip his office selling you the brand-name "Major Povidone Iodine" for $25. You can get the same thing from WalMart for $6.24 (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Equate-First-Aid-Antiseptic-Topical-Solution-8-Fl-Oz/10324543). If I ever need my feet worked on again, I'll defenitely return to Dr. Jarman and I've already made word-of-mouth recommendations to others. P.S. Better yet, decline the pathology labwork altogether (we're talking toenails, not heart surgery). I have good insurance (BCBS) and when it was all said and done, I received another bill from an outside path lab (BAKO) for my portion--$351.20! Dr. Jarman was 99.9% sure what the bacteria was at the initial consult and for over $500 extra out-of pocket, that's confirmation enough for me! I'll take my chances and see how the medicine works BEFORE spending the $500. read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr Jarman. He's and his staff are always friendly. They do everything they can to get you in asap, even was able to get my son in, same day. They cast for orthotics and guarantee them. Then can offer a good cash price if you need an additional pair. I have 1 for my tennis shoes, and another for my work boots, so that I'm not swapping them daily. He took care of my son's ingrown toenails, first time. I had previously taken him to a different pod. Last year, but, they didn't last, and he'd had problems since. Now, no more ingrown nails. read more

I will never be more grateful and happy with my decision to go see Dr. Jarman. I have had a chronically inflamed ankle for 10 plus years and it was originally diagnosed as posterior tibial tendonitis. I paid for insurance PT, private PT and even tried to treat it myself since I work in Ortho and none of it ever lasted. I have been able to adapt but it was finally time to get a second opinion. Dr. Jarman not only was able to identify the issue, it was an issue that literally has so little medically based evidence to support typical treatment, it was a miracle he was able to find the correct answer (shows you how clinical knowledge and ability to think outside the box.) The only option I had was surgery and here I am two months post surgery running three miles a day with no inflamed ankle or pain. It's been ten years since I could do that. The scar is healing so nicely, he stated in a year that the scar might not even be visible. I highly recommend this doctor. Professional and caring. I had a horrible break on my big toe. I wasn't sure anything could be done for this type of break, but I was in a LOT of pain, and called his office. He was able to see me that day, and took wonderful care of my predicament. He took x-rays to exact where the break was and then gave me options to continue with my treatment. I saw Dr. Jarman a couple weeks ago about pain in my heel. His scheduler got me into his office the same day. He told me about the different treatment plans for my insertional tendinitis , we chose the conservative route and after a week my pain was being relieved. I am seeing Dr. Jarman for various ankle, shin and foot issues. First of all, his statf is friendly and professional. Dr. Jarman is personable and very professional. He takes ample time to evalute and explain his recommended course of action. My ankle and foot problems are improving. He is also treating me for a problem I have had for several years. To my great delight, he is curing my inability to firmly plant my right foot! Finally, he schedules follow up appointments to make sure everything is going well. Love this office, the doctor and his staff. Had seen my general doc. and also a sports PT for plantars fasciitis and nothing helped. Eventually the ball of one foot became painful and swollen so I sought out a specialist. Doc Jarman knew instantly that high arches were causing my problem. In-house x-rays confirmed (very handy to not have to go off-site for that). He discussed the condition in detail, answered all of my questions, and discussed his success with treating this condition with custom insoles. I may have had to come back a second time for custom insole molding, but it was quick and it only took 1 to 2 weeks to get them. That was over a year ago, and I'm still very pleased and am so very grateful to have my hiking feet back again. Like other reviewers, I really wish I would have come here first. They take my insurance so that was easy too. Office visits were always very pleasant ,no or little wait time, and appointments were easy to get. Highly recommend. read more

Every appointment with Dr. Jarman and his staff is unlike any other visit to any service provider I can think of. They must all really love what they do, and love working with each other, because not only are they each exceptionally skilled in all of the technical aspects of what they do, but they demonstrate genuine concern and respect for me as a patient. The front office staff played a very proactive role in getting me scheduled with an MRI provider that was being unnecessarily difficult, and they have made the administrative part of being a patient easy and painless. As for the treatment I have received, Dr. Jarman's experience and education mean he is able to use the right diagnostic procedures and to interpret them correctly in order to identify and compare the potential treatment alternatives. He then takes time to explain each finding and how things interact in order to result in the condition at hand. He allows plenty of questions and expression of concerns, and never interrupts or loses focus - it is obvious that he is intent not only on helping me, but on making sure that I make the best-informed decisions I can. The difference I see when I deal with Dr. Jarman and his staff is painfully, disappointingly obvious when I deal with other organizations and people who provide service (but who apparently couldn't care less about why I am contacting them). read more

I went to Dr. Jarman for new orthotics this past summer. After bashing one of his local colleagues that I had once seen and boasting of his "stellar" online reviews, Dr. Jarman proceeded to brag that he was the "King of Orthotics" and that no podiatrist in the area makes better custom orthotics than him. I should have run away then and there! The first pair took several weeks to come in because of some office delays. Then when it did come, it was completely wrong. The doctor sheepishly admitted these were rare mistakes. So, I patiently waited a few more weeks for the re-made pair to come in, and once again, the pair came in wrong - so wrong that it didn't even fit in any of my shoes! So, after 3 months, a lot of wasted time and co-pays, the self proclaimed king of orthotics was the only winner in this deal! I had no orthotics and he had good money from me and my insurance company. Be warned! read more

I brought my teenage son in for ingrown toenails. The staff is courteous and prompt. Dr. Jarman was great with my son. The office is clean and my son loved watching Netflix while his toes were being worked on. We will continue to see Dr. Jarman for any future foot problems. read more
