I repeatedly requested that the office still submit the claim to my insurance carrier, since coverage was available. After several phone calls, the authorization was eventually submitted and my insurance covered more than half of the cost. Instead of receiving a refund for the overpayment, I later received an additional bill. After contacting the billing department, they acknowledged the bill was sent in error and confirmed that a refund was actually due. The most disappointing part occurred later when another one of my daughters was referred to the same practice. When I attempted to schedule an appointment, I was told there was a note in my chart stating that the practice was unable to schedule future appointments for my family. Patients should not have to repeatedly advocate for proper insurance processing, correction of billing errors, and refunds that are owed. I am sharing my experience so other families can be aware and keep detailed records of their communications.

Also, the "doctor", Gregory Loo, diagnosed my issue within about 30 seconds or so he thought. Nope. What a quack. I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED by how reports of SEXUAL HARASSMENT toward medical staff have been…read morehandled at this organization. A medical assistant has repeatedly experienced inappropriate and sexually harassing behavior from patients and has brought these concerns directly to the physicians and leadership responsible for supporting her. Despite communicating the seriousness of the situation, there has been little to no meaningful action to protect her or address the broader issue. What is especially concerning is that the response has apparently included telling the employee that she should stop wearing makeup, rather than addressing the inappropriate behavior of the patients responsible for the harassment. An employee's appearance is not an invitation for sexual harassment, and the responsibility for inappropriate behavior should not be placed on the person experiencing it. Employees should not have to repeatedly advocate for basic safety and respect in their workplace. There should be a clear process for reporting patient harassment, appropriate intervention when incidents occur, and meaningful support from the physicians and leadership overseeing these employees. I am intentionally not identifying the employee involved because this is not about putting her name on the internet. It is about bringing attention to a serious workplace issue that needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY. Leadership needs to take reports of sexual harassment seriously, communicate clearly about how employees can report these incidents, and take appropriate steps to protect their staff.
