Got an appointment later this afternoon. The front office staff was personable, efficient and friendly. Dr. Chris was friendly and professional. After two prior bunion surgeries, I saw a commercial on the Lapiplasty procedure. I googled it and Dr Suykerbuyk's name came up as a doctor who was experienced in this permanent fix for bunions. Dr Suykerbuyk explained the procedure to me and the recovery. The office was always courteous and welcoming. I'm so glad I made the decision to have the procedure done by Dr Suykerbuyk. The recovery was so much easier than prior surgeries. I highly recommend him and Lapiplasty. I'm back to playing pickleball with no pain and my shoes fit better than ever. read more

Had Lapiplasty Bunion surgery with Dr. Suykerbuyk and now I have neuropathy in both feet. I trusted his expertise, but this was a mistake. This has been one of the worst experiences I have had in my entire life, and it is not over yet. I kept complaining about numbness in my feet after surgery, but the only test that was run was XRAYs. I had to push for additional testing and referrals to make sure this was not related to any underlying disease. I have gone to a rheumatologist, vein doctors, Neurologist, and even had metal testing for a broken screw that was left in my foot. All tests came back negative. I never had any problems with my feet before the surgery, but it is still constant problems after the foot surgery. The issue I have with the office is they keep saying there is some other problem and this was not caused from the surgery which is when it started occurring and disagree with this statement. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone and there are similar reviews. read more

First of all, I want to say the two stars are for the lady and the doctor (Dr. Suykerbuyk) two person office as far as I could see) they were friendly. The office well let me say I was not too impressed. As small as the office (maybe 5-6 chairs in the waiting room) the floors were dirty and could have used some vacuuming. Then when I was taken to the exam room by the lady that checked me in, well I sat down and waited for the dr., In waiting I noticed the uncleanliness of the exam room. Tools were left on the counter without the sanitized wrapping, the counter had obvious dust and spots, the bottles were they have their solutions were labeled with masking tape that was changing colors due to age and as well as the waiting room the exam room floor was also dirty. I did end up walking out before the dr. Came in and when I was asked why by the lady upfront I told her why. Never in 45 years have I ever felt strongly about this, but it is a medical place where procedures are done so to me that was unacceptable. I think if they do some updating and take pride on their office image and cleanliness it might be a good place to visit based on the treatment I received by the staff which was pleasant. read more

My experience with Dr Suykerbuyk has been the worst I could have ever imagined due to the outcome of my journey to relieve my foot pain. I will always regret the trust I placed in allowing him to perform Lapiplasty Bunion Surgery. After the surgery and his recommended recovery time, I expressed in multiple office visits how I thought something was not right with my foot and how much pain I experienced in just walking a short way to my mailbox and back. 2 1/2 months later Dr S suggested a second surgery to remove the hardware from his first surgery. It was his opinion that the hardware was the cause of the inflammation and pain. I was so desperate to be able to walk again so I trusted his expertise again. The only thing that changed after my 2nd surgery was the massive scars and dark skin discolorations on the top of my foot. The pain was the same. Absolutely no change after the 2nd surgery. I saw Dr S a few more times for more Xrays, MRI's, CT's, more meds and expensive topical creams that did absolutely nothing other than costing a lot of money. My final appointment withDr S ended with him saying he did not know what was causing my pain and all he could do was refer me to a pain management specialist. I knew that meant being placed on pain meds and that was not a solution for me. He had no answers other than pain management which told me I needed a second opinion. I was very fortunate to find another doctor that diagnosed my problem in a very short time. Xrays showed 3 bone fragments in the arch area of my foot. The doctor described the size of these bone fragments equal to marbles. Can you imagine walking every day with 3 marbles inside your foot? Unfortunately, this meant a 3rd operation to correct what Dr. S could not diagnose. During the 3rd surgery, the doctor also found rubbery tissue that was left in my foot from the previous Dr Suykerbuyk surgeries. I'm so happy to have found a competent foot surgeon that found the cause of my pain. I'm so grateful for him and his continued care. I can walk again, but still experience a different pain. In my opinion and my new doctor's opinion, the pain I experience now is from all the nerve damage due to these surgeries by Dr S. I also have permanent dark skin coloring and scars all over my foot that will be a reminder of the damage done by Dr Suykerbuyk. There is no excuse for his level of care and the pain of having to go through 2 additional surgeries because of what I believe to be his incompetence. Please beware! There are great doctors available for Lapiplasty, but in my experience I would never refer anyone to Dr. Suykerbuyk. read more

This is the third time I have seen Dr. Suykerbuyk. Every time he has been awesome. Realize this is a small office so your wait times are quick. He has been very punctual and gets right to treatment. I appreciate that. He has treated my son also and was nothing short of great. I hope I don't need his services but if I do I am definitely making an appointment with him. read more

Last week I had lapiplasty 3D bunion surgery. I can't say enough how amazing the experience has been. First of all, the office staff are so helpful and kind. Dr. Suykerbuyk spends so much time explaining the process and making sure you are comfortable and answers any questions you have. On the day of my procedure he came and checked on me and made sure I had all of my questions answered and went over the procedure again. He also has a great sense of humor and very personable. The day after the procedure I felt great. I had no pain whatsoever and had no need for pain meds. I was able to bear weight and walk short distances in the house quite comfortably. At my one week follow up I was amazed at how well I was getting around. I drove to my appointment without any issues. (I had my left foot done). He showed me the before and after photos and they are so incredible. I can't believe how easy the procedure went, how easy the recovery has been and the difference in the photos is phenomenal. I have been to 2 other foot doctors and they only do the traditional bunion surgery that requires a much longer recovery as it's a more invasive surgery. I highly recommend AZ Choice Foot and Ankle. Especially if you want a more innovative treatment approach to get back on your feet quicker. read more

We highly recommend this doctor. Our family has been treated well here. My husband had stem cell procedures and steriod shots. He can get same day office appointments too. My kids do well here. While the office isn't fancy, the doctor is knowledgeable and down to earth. read more

I visited this office based on a referral from a colleague. I had been struggling with plantar fasciitis for some time and nothing was working. It was suggested by my friend that I try tens therapy, which I requested and was denied. I visited a total of 3 times, but somehow I never had faith that my issue would be resolved. I received two cortisone injections in a short time. I asked the dr if that was okay because, based on everything I had read, it suggested steroids provide temporary relief only, don't address the issue, and break down the tendon. He explained that is essentially what they do in surgery anyway. There was NO way I wanted to consider surgery. I stopped going, got orthotics at Walmart, and did 3 physical therapy sessions at another location and my pain is almost gone. I would not recommend this office for an issue such as mine. My problem wasn't resolved, I left with big bills from them, and feel Dr. Suykerbuyk's long term plan for me would have been surgery. read more
