As with any away sports tournament, pizza always has to be on the menu at least once. I was looking for a good gluten free option and stumbled upon Mikey's. It said best GF pizza but very expensive. To my surprise, it was $14 for one topping which was far from expensive for what I've paid in the past. I got lost on my walk there which put me there about 30 minutes late and then another 20 minute walk back to my hotel. They had coke, which was like heaven because everywhere has Pepsi products. The atmosphere was FUN. Bright and eclectic with some amazing music playing. Bartender was great. I wished I hadn't gone there alone or I would have stayed. Pizza was cold when I got to the hotel (my fault) but it was still tasty. I can't imagine how good it would have been fresh! Check them out if you are in the area. read more

Everything was perfect! I forgot just how much I loved Mikey's Late Night Slice. Been having a craving for a while so I ordered us a pie on the Toast Local app for carry out. Love the vibe inside though I had a date with my couch after this long week and decided on a carryout. Ordered the Mushroom w/Roasted Garlic and added Sausage. It was a great combination and these pies are huge. Service was amazing and carry out order was ready when promised. I even found princess parking right out front. Awesome experience all around and always recommend grabbing a slice or a whole pie from Mikey's. Best part is we have leftovers for tomorrow. Helpful hint - pies come cut in 6 super large slices. Pizza was great! Pick your slice, they warm it up for you and you're on your way. Honestly the crust was great, warmed up super well and had a great ambiance to the place with the full bar inside. Front cashier wasn't the nicest person ever but the rest of the staff was fine. read more

We ordered the meathead and regular pepperoni (not pictured because we ate it so fast lol) They have a really cool sauce bar with about 6 different types of sauces. Jalepenos, banana peppers and a variation of Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. We also tried this stuff called "pizza crack" Delicious! Yum Yum Yum! Since I'm from NYC, I'm always down to check out some pizza that looks like it could resemble the real deal. We were at the arcade next door and were hungry after they closed so I decided to take a chance here. Upon walking in, the pizza scent was divine! It honestly took me back to growing up in NYC with that amazing aroma. I really have not experienced that since moving out of NY so I was excited to try Mikey's. Since it was late, there was not a lot of variety in choices. The staff greeted us and offered us to order. We ordered the Plain Ass Slice, the Vegan Pepperoni, the Plain Ass Pepperoni, and Unicorn sauce. We ordered it to go and we did not wait long to have it heated up. We decided to eat it back at our hotel room since it was a short walk. I am most sure if I was starving but damn, that pizza hit the friggin spot! And the unicorn sauce was a good addition too! This review should be a 3.5 stars. We came here around 9:00 to eat a slice of pizza, have a drink, and people watch. It seemed odd to us that when we walked in we were the only people there. Throughout the next two hours, about 20 people came in. The pizza was good not great but after some drinks the pizza I bet would be the best! 10/10. Best pizza I've had in a while! The ladies working had great energy and were very welcoming. I love that they have a pepper/sauce/parmesan cheese mix topping bar to add to your pizza. I got the Spicy Ass Pepperoni slice and Cheezy Breadsticks. I'd hold the marinara but that's just me. They have so many sauces to dip/drizzle on your pizza you shouldn't miss it. Tried out a slice of the Plain Ass Pepperoni and it didn't disappoint. If you are looking for a big cheese pull this isn't your slice, but if you want a thin slice with great flavor this is it. When I came in and shared that I was new to Mikey's they took time explain all of the slice options that were available and I had to fight the temptation to try one of each. First stop when I got to town. Cashier was friendly, welcoming, and helpful for a first timer. He answered my questions and offered advice to help decide. I went with the special mushroom Kingdom pie Togo which was an absolute banger. The sauce was delicious, good meaty Mushrooms, good flavor, well cooked crust! Over all a delicious well made pie. My friend and I stopped here early this morning at approximately 1am. We just so happened to stumble across it on Google as we were looking for late night food spots after a long night out & I am so happy we did. For it to be a late night spot, I was really impressed by the service and how friendly everyone was. It was a very chill environment with a bar feel. We got the Date Night special which included 2 slices of pizza, breadsticks, 2 drinks & a unicorn bar. The wait time was about 10 minutes. They were all out of cheese pizza so I had to get the spicy a** pepperoni (that's the name of it haha). It came with pepperoni & banana peppers & sooooo good. The dough was soft & everything was hot to temperature. I dipped mine in the spicy unicorn sauce *chef's kiss* & complimented the pizza well. You could also order drinks. The drinks were just okay but the bartender was very friendly. I was also told they have a speakeasy. Surprised by the bad reviews but this was one of my favorite slices when I still lived in Columbus. The slices are comparable to any New York style slice you'd get in the city. For two slices at about $10, these aren't fancy slices but there are definitely quality. The slices are put on basic paper plates, thin, and packed with flavor. The unicorn sauce still hits and so do the slices. The area of this one is great because it's right by 16 Bit and Dirty Frank's which also deserve a visit. read more

Worst location ever. Cashier yelled at the line the entire time and clearly hated his job. I didnt want to give him my business considering his attitude was horrible before we even made it to the front of the line but my party was hungry. This is a review of the service mostly. The pizza in its quality was fine but this location messed up the order and caused my wife to be sick to her stomach for hours. My wife has a dairy allergy which I explicitly mentioned numerous times when I ordered and asked for dairy free cheese. One bite in and my wife knew it wasn't dairy free by the flavor. I called the store and the lady who took my order said it was dairy free. I then asked to talk to someone else and that person said it wasn't dairy free. Poor training and unknowledgeable staff turned our weekend getaway into a night on the hotel bathroom floor. read more

Visiting from California, I did not know that I needed this pizza until I had it, this oversized, greasy, cheesy pizza with the garlic sauce. Definitely get the garlic sauce. We tend to have more artisanal style pizzas back home, rare to see any that sell by the slice, and if I wanted garlic sauce, I'd have to order pizza from Dominos or another big chain. It's healthier but sometimes you just want to take a chance with your cholesterol levels and Mikey's Late Night Slice delivered that! Love the decor. It's fun, funny (check out "the bathroom"), and reflective of the funky vibe of the place. The service was also really quick when we went around lunchtime on a Saturday. We didn't really see many people out and about either so perhaps Columbus itself just doesn't get crowded even on the weekends. Overall, a great stop. read more

Great experience today at Mikey's Late Night Slice. I popped in for a quick bite after leaving an event. They now have a daily crazy hour EVERY day from 4-5 pm where items are 50% off. My pizza slice was half off and was ordered a drink by the bartender Melissa as well. She recommended the punch which I cannot remember the name of. It was super good but I'm glad she told me that it was dangerous as it's super good and you can't tell you're drinking alcohol. For my pizza slice, I got the Plain- Ass Pepperoni which is Pepperoni, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. It's so good!! You really can't go wrong with any of the pizzas. They also have a signature sauce called the Unicorn Sauce. Unicorn Sauce is a delicious tangy, smokey, spicy, sweet flavor. It's amazing!! This place saved us. We got into Columbus late so we thought there would be some late night eats. Yeah for some reason the food scene in downtown Columbus is dead and deserted. Total ghost town. This review can be summed up with one thing: $6 for one slice of pizza (or $30 for the whole thing). I know inflation has been increasing, but dang!! That just seems crazy expensive for a reheated piece of pizza. Yes, reheated because just like a typical NY pizza joint, the pizzas sit in a glass case at the front until a slice is ordered and then tossed back in the oven. I tried the specialty pizza which was touted as a 'Hot Chicken' with fried chicken and mac and cheese. Comes with ranch and some pickles. It wasn't spicy, but the chicken and mac and cheese part was tasty and the ranch was really good. However, given the price I doubt I will frequent any Mikey's locations unless it is literally the only thing open. read more

Do you really need more pics of Mikey's? Good NyC style slices for a pinch after the club or for lunch. The rotation of types is a plus and I appreciate the vegan options. This was my first pizza in Columbus when I moved and it continues to be my go to when in a hurry. The unicorn sauce is so tangy and good, they sell it in the stores now! The service is always consistent though the people change. And the area is a mix of old school pizza parlor, rock punk bar, and if you go to the speakeasy one- cozy hangout... always some type of vibe. I appreciate the marketing team figuring out cost effective meal deals like two slices and a drink under $20 etc.! It speeds up the lines and helps the daters as well. Good business and on!
