The mechanic was either incompetent or knew what he was doing. He checked the tire sensors I asked to install before he started. He told me he was unable to reprogram the sensors. He told that I had to go another location to get the job done. When I got there, I was told I would have to pay more for him to replace the sensors that the other mechanic installed. He discounted the price from the other job but I was still not happy. Why would the first mechanic install the wrong sensor? Either he was incompetent or knew what he was doing. read more

Can I just say, Thank you to the previous reviews on Yelp about this place. Not only did the reviews capture the fast service but the prices were super affordable. There are two different stores, they're right across from one another! I went to the store next to Suedes. I pulled up and informed them that I had a flat tire- i could actually see the nail. The agent hopped right on it, and took the nails out. Cost me $10.00! They also replace, repair, add air to your tires! Pretty much a buffet for tires and rims! Definitely check them out if you need assistance with your tires. Realized my tire has a slow leak in it and headed to yelp on a Sunday morning to find out where I could get it fixed. Many of the tire shops were closed on Sundays but Mike's was open from 8 am so I headed over. When I got there one person was being served. After a few minutes I was asked what I needed. Pointed out the tire and he went over took the tire off, put in the water to check for the leak. I was told it was going to be $15 to patch, I was so happy. However after they took the tire off the rim they realized I had been driving on it too long and now the inside was shredding and needed a new tire. Oh the agony! This place is cash only, so I had to stroll on down to the McDonald to use the ATM. I would recommend this place. They were very quick and seemed honest and to the point. Hello, I spoke to Mike today and he was so rude and disgusting to me for absolutely no reason. I reached out to him as I am closing my tire shop and venturing into other endeavors; I contacted Mike in hopes that he would want to purchase some of my machines and tires. Although we've never met, I frequently referred my customers to his location when we were unable to meet their needs. I have posted the conversation from the beginning so you may ascertain for yourself what kind of man he is. I cannot say this is a unique experience. Men seem to think because I am a young woman in this field that they may do and say whatever they wish and I will be intimidated to bend as they desire. He, like the rest, are sorely mistaken. This is deplorable behavior and we need to shut this kind of thing down as a community. We cannot encourage "support black businesses" as a motto and then disregard each other with wanton abandon. After about a week with driving with my tire pressure light on (I know, I know, I'm horrible.). I was in denial about something being wrong with my baby, so sue me! I got here at 5pm on a Sunday. I was scared that they were going to be closed, you know because it's Jesus day & what have you, but they weren't.There are 2 shops right across the street from each other. I'm guessing more room to work on more cars since there's no garage. Everything is done on the street. So, I drove up, parked in front of the shop, & got out of the car. One of the guys approached me to see what the problem was. Told him there was a slow leak in one of my tires. He asked which one & I told him I wasn't sure but I think it's on the left side. In about a minute he was able to tell me that there was a nail in one of my back tires. Dumb nail, why are you in the street?! When I was quoted $10 for a patch, I almost danced in the middle of the street. I thought I was going to spend at least $25-$30. I was in & out in 20 minutes! I thought I was going to be here for at least 45 minutes. All my estimations were off today. He went back & put some air in all of my tires! It was worth the 10 minute drive. read more

I had low pressure on my tire and was referred here by my boyfriend. It was pouring rain...I told the guy what was wrong. He told me he'll be with me in a moment because he was dealing with another customer. He came to my car in 5 minutes. In less than 2 minutes he took the wheel off and was able to show me that a screw was in my tire. He asked if I just wanted to fill it with air or plug it for $8. Of course I plugged it. I was out of there in a couple of minutes and my low pressure indicator came off of my car screen. He was very polite and efficient. I would definitely recommend them!!! read more

I woke up on Nov 27 to two slashed tires. I called my nephew and he recommended me to Mikes. I called Mikes to see if they had my tires in stock, they did. I told them the two truck will drop me off in an hour and a half. When I got there they already had my tires pulled out. I got two used tires at a reasonable rate and the service was great. read more

Horrible experience ... RIP to the original Mike... but the son is ruining the legacy ... Mike's has about 3-4 locations through Brooklyn ... and this one is tough to deal with.... he is always trying to get over on customers and do shady deals... Taking advantage of hard working people's money ... I have heard horror stories about them before from friends and family but learned the hard way... unfortunately I have to give at least one star. The hispanic workers here are fast and pretty nice for the most part. Word of advice come early, and you wont have to deal with all the hysterics. (Diagnosis:Screw in tire, $10) and i was able to continue on with my day:) read more
