Update! Kevin contacted me, via text after reading the…read morereview, asking that I take the review down and allow him an opportunity to come back out and look at the vehicle, free of charge. Kevin shared that he was at risk of losing his job and was a lead tech, although listed as the owner. 'Management' also contacted and asked that I take the review down and offered to refund the labor. At this point (2 days later) I had already taken the vehicle to the Toyota dealer, as his 'management' advised the vehicle was complex and initially declined looking at the vehicle without another charge. Toyota Diagnosis: improper fitting and installed spark plugs. Cost: 98$ inspection- which was deducted from repair cost. Repair cost total, including one day vehicle rental, 468.79$. I reached back out to Kevin and 'Management', via text and email, three consecutive days- excluding Sunday, explaining the outcome and requesting a partial refund (spark plugs, diagnosis, and labor). I have not received a response and am now seeking civil action. Receipts attached. Again, the purpose of this review is to bring awareness.

2011 BMW 335i e93…read more Paid $1,300+ for a repair just for him to break my clip to the fuel rail, pop off the tips/tops to my brand new $1200 coil packs, left the ignition coils unplugged and said it wouldn't start. Kevin was supposed to replace my valve cover, MAF sensor, coolant hose, Fuel Sensor B, Air intake temp sensor, and Fuel regulator. This was all supposed to fix my minor misfire problem. I wasn't able to be there for the main repair bc i had work but he had called me and told me that he couldn't start the car but everything was good, and that it was bc the battery was dead/dying. Naturally i believed him bc my car had been sitting for a while, when i had went to check on the car the day after ready to jump it the car wouldn't turn over like it would before, i told him about this initially and he said that he would come back and check on his work. He never did. But upon further inspection i found several things wrong: The bottom 2 coil packs weren't in or seated properly (when taking them out the tips/tops weren't even connected) and the connector that goes to my fuel rail had been broken. These are just the things that I had noticed off rip, so only God knows how extensive the damage really is. After I noticed all of this I brought it to his attention by calling/texting him but he wouldn't respond- when usually he would answer almost right away. Today I tried contacting him again only to find out that my number had been blocked. This has ultimately been a waste of time and a huge waste of money whereas now i have to spend even more on a wiring harness or figure out how to or even IF i can solder a new connector on, buy new coil packs, etc. on top of already spending a good amount of money on a failed and botched repair. If you want my advice, the best choice is usually the hardest one.. don't look for mobile mechanics, or mechanics who don't own an actual shop or any "do-it-yourself"ers. Just take your car to an actual shop where you can get it properly and professionally looked at. You're gonna have to spend a lot of money anyways, so you might as we do it right the first time around rather than hop scotching to different mechanics and ppl. I just wish i would've known this sooner, don't be stubborn or a penny pincher, bc pennie's pinch back and when they do it's gonna hurt like ab.

This will take more money, time and frustration. Pat failed to address that I asked him to quote the job prior to work being done, and instead he completed the work and then demanded what I felt was overcharging based on the scope of work. This is not how to professionally conduct one self. Mistakes happen, but the lack of communication and me having to discover his shoddy work later is the issue. The money is not the issue, but the approach he took is unethical. If you are okay with a mechanic that's untrustworthy, unreliable, unprofessional and takes zero accountability, this is the mechanic for you! If you choose to use this business you have been warned. I recommend having a backup professional to fix this guy's mistakes, and then plan on paying for work more than once. Like I stated earlier, mistakes happen, it's unfortunate this guy has no intention of learning from them. Communication is key. Don't cover up your mistakes and not take ownership. It makes you look bad. I do not recommend using this mechanic. I asked for a quote to remove locking lugs nuts on my wife's Kia, and after completing the job Patt told me the price which I thought sounded too high and was expecting to get a quote prior to the work being done, not after. I explained that I had no idea it was going to cost that much and he knocked $100 off the price. Later I discovered that Pat and another young man that works for him, had cross threaded 3 wheel studs on 2 different wheels. Given the time, money and frustration I would recommend saving your hard earned money and contacting a professional mechanic. I understand mistakes happen, but the lack of integrity and poor communication are just bad business. Lesson learned on my end. I will never trust this guy to touch another vehicle again.

I've been using this place for years now…read more I like them #1 because they are the closest emissions check to my house and #2 conveniently located in the Acworth Walmart Supercenter parking lot also #3 they are quick, easy and polite. Just pull up to the "enter" side, if there is a line of cars, wait. When you're up they will wave you in and then give you hand signals to tell you where/when to stop the car. They will ask a few questions about the car, it's year and the odometer reading. Attach some equipment, take some readings, check your gas cap for leaks. Ask for payment - $25 and then your done. The results are sent automatically/electronically to the government and they immediately have your results. I really appreciate this shop being there and treating me well.

worst experience I've ever had with a tow company... and the bad thing about it is, I used to ONLY…read moreuse this tow truck company and my wife and I have used them to tow 20+ times back when Tim the owner was still the one running the truck.. used to be great very affordable.. we hadn't used them in a while 5+ years or more tho and it's gone down hill like crazy!!! I was 10 miles from my house. There was an entire wheel and tire in road and i hit it going about 50 mph because I didn't see it, my low beams lights are not that great. deployed all air bags and the car would not move. gps came out and called S&S towing and they showed up and the guy was extremely rude said it would be 500 dollars to take it to his shop, 540 dollars to take it to my house 10 miles up the road or 515 dollars to take it to a different address like 6 miles up the road or 350 to drop it off on the side of the road and then I would have had to call another tow truck driver anyway. So I basically had no choice but to use them and he told me that they only took cash period that's all they took. he got really mad and made smart comments every time I asked him to figure up a different place to take the car because 500+ plus to go 10 miles or less is highway robbery and I was just tying to go the most affordable option possible... eventually I said just take it to my house for 540... we get to my house and he walks up and says where is the cash I'm not doing anything until I have it with a major attitude, I pay him the cash. I tell him where I wanted it at in my yard and he said ill put it in neutral and it can roll off my truck and if it makes it where you want it, great if not, don't know what to tell you... so for the highway robbery towing prices they don't even put it where you want them too.. and he was backed up to kind of a hill on my yard and I said I don't even think you're gonna be able to get the car into neutral to get it to roll and I don't want it parked on that hill, and he said I've been in the towing business for 10 years genius, I know what I'm doing... Im like really dude your a straight up ass hole and walked away, and he got the car and a neutral and rolled it. Kind of near where I wanted it... and he said if you got someone else to sign this receipt, I'll give them a receipt.. and I said no one else is gonna come out here and sign your receipt.. and he went and put it in the driver seat without anyone signing for it and when he was getting in and out of the car every time he was ripping on the airbags and slamming stuff around in the car... he didn't give a shit if I had plans on fixing that car. He didn't respect the in anyway he was an absolute asshole from the second. He walked up to us Tim the owner used to have a heart and would work with you now he's got assholes running his truck that have no empathy or respect Avoid this towing company at all costs!!!
