Three times in for various needs. Considering my father was a master mechanic it would be difficult for anyone to pull the wool over my eyes about the needs of my vehicle. Each conversation with the owner, Robert Leathers, has proven this is a place to find proper repairs without being misled.
First time I was there for an airbag warning light. I'd already researched and knew likely what it was related to. There was an elderly man waiting on his vehicle to be repaired. We chatted for a bit. The owner came in, addressed the man by name and let him know what he'd found and that his problem was solved. He explained step by step what he'd done and his findings along the way.
In front of the owner, I asked the elderly man how often he'd been to the shop. Watching them both, the older gentleman stated that it was his second time in and that he would continue coming back.
After the gentleman left, the owner took a little time to tell me about his experience and that he wouldn't take advantage of anyone - including the man that just left in a vehicle that's no longer produced. He told me he'd work on anything- including that Saturn - and if ever he couldn't find the solution, he would admit that and remain honest with the customer.
It took a couple more visits to understand this place is not offering up lip service and stand by their work.
While you won't find a well appointed reception or lobby stocked with refreshments, you will find genuine experts who proclaim that they are focused on finding the best solution, not misleading anyone and keeping their customers informed. That said, I'll take what they offer of great work, honesty and good nature over any shimmer to be found somewhere else.
Not only will I return with my vehicle for future needs, I am spreading the word amidst my family and friends. I highly recommend this vehicle repair to anyone. read more
