First of all, Jeremy was kind, funny and professional. Their staff is also diverse and professional. The place is extremely clean and they are even thoughtful enough to have snacks and coffee. But the kicker for me? How thorough the inspection report was. The money was well worth it for the amount of detail that was put into the report and made me feel more educated on the condition of the vehicle. I certainly will be back.

Not only did Christian Brothers…read moreshow amazing hospitality, but they were very informative and made sure I understood all that was going on with my car issue. They were able to identify the issue and resolve it in a timely manner. I know for a lot of car repair shops, it often takes days maybe even sometimes weeks to do a big repair. In my case, I had a semi-intense repair needed for my engine and they were able to resolve it within 2 days. As a woman, it is important to me that I am being treated fairly and with kindness when engaging in conversations and inquiries with a car repair shop. The shop was very clean which is important to me since often times, people will choose to wait in the shop why their car is being repaired or services. As stated, they were very informative, approachable, and even showed pictures displaying the issue of my car while also providing the severity of it. It's been about 3 weeks since my repair and I haven't had any issues with it since. Definitely will be my go to car repair shop if I ever run into any issues in the future.

If you have a classic car, don't bother. While the guys here nicely tell you they can help, they…read moredon't explain anything they do to your car so you pick it up and you just hope for the best. They stated multiple times over the years that their "classic car guy" was an expert and could handle a classic car. For the first 5 years of living in atlanta, I took my classic mercedes here until they finally told me their classic car guy was leaving and they wouldn't touch my car going forward. Frankly, they did 5 years of changing my oil and nothing else but they'd charge me for what they called "regular maintenance". Regular maintenance on a classic car should include a lot more than just topping up the oil and calling it a day, but every time I'd mention knocking noises or brake issues or anything else to them, they wouldn't address it at all so I had no idea if they thought it was an issue or didn't. Finally 5 years later, thank god their classic car guy left, because I took it over to a place in Decatur and all of the things I had been worried about, they found a reason, they gave me a full breakdown online of what they recommended and why, they answered all of my questions, and I could pay the invoice online and feel good about it. Update: As of 9:30 p.m., Jacob, the owner, repeatedly called and texted me after my review. He first falsely claimed I'd only visited once four years ago, then offered to pay me, which I refused. After that, he pulled up what he claimed were years of invoices that were not real, despite the fact that I have the original receipts for my own transactions. Even after I repeatedly told him to stop contacting me, he continued until I had to block his number. Based on both my experience and his behavior afterward, I would never recommend this business.

I stumbled upon Bremen Auto by accident three years ago when I needed tires, and have become a…read moreloyal customer ever since. The heart of this shop is owner Randy Carver - and anyone who has had the pleasure of doing business with him is a better person for it. I can't stress how honest and transparent he is with customers, how dependable the repairs and how consistently fair the prices are. In this drive-thru age where everything is impersonal, low quality and profit-driven, it's really something special to find a business that does top notch work and still values relationships with people. Over the years I've frequented Bremen Auto for everything from brakes, tires, belts, hoses, check engine lights, mystery noises and transmission repair - and not only are the estimates free and the work prompt and reliable - but my day is always brighter from dealing with Mr. Carver and his staff. It feels more like stopping by my dad's house. Prior to this, for car repairs and maintenance I had been subjected to countless dealership rip-offs or big chain repair shops with shady policies and front desk grunts who made life miserable for their customers. So you can imagine my surprise when a knowledgeable mechanic like Randy (I prefer to call him the Car Whisperer) walked right out to the parking lot, popped the hood and began treating me like an old friend - me, an outsider who isn't even from this state. Needless to say it was a game changer. I've heard the expression "treat customers like family" but have never seen the principle in action until I had the pleasure to do business here . I would recommend Bremen Auto to anyone or anycar. And hey, even if your vehicle is running fine, you really should stop in and say hi to Randy. Because they just don't make em like him anymore.

Update! Kevin contacted me, via text after reading the…read morereview, asking that I take the review down and allow him an opportunity to come back out and look at the vehicle, free of charge. Kevin shared that he was at risk of losing his job and was a lead tech, although listed as the owner. 'Management' also contacted and asked that I take the review down and offered to refund the labor. At this point (2 days later) I had already taken the vehicle to the Toyota dealer, as his 'management' advised the vehicle was complex and initially declined looking at the vehicle without another charge. Toyota Diagnosis: improper fitting and installed spark plugs. Cost: 98$ inspection- which was deducted from repair cost. Repair cost total, including one day vehicle rental, 468.79$. I reached back out to Kevin and 'Management', via text and email, three consecutive days- excluding Sunday, explaining the outcome and requesting a partial refund (spark plugs, diagnosis, and labor). I have not received a response and am now seeking civil action. Receipts attached. Again, the purpose of this review is to bring awareness.
