I have a Toyota Rav-4 Hybrid and am relieved to know that the mechanics understand and are experts on these types of vehicles. I no longer have to take a gamble on an inexperienced auto-service or pay the high prices at a dealership where you cant be sure you're going to get proper Hybrid maintenance anyway. I also appreciate that the owners are trying to fight the big car companies for the right to repair. I'm tired of being squeezed for every cent I have when I already bought the product.

I want to thank Jenn, Megan and Steve for everything done in connection with the repairs to my…read morevehicle. It is never "fun" to take a car in for service and face the prospect of significant and/or expensive repairs (especially with a car that has 200,000 miles on it!), being without a vehicle and making decisions about what "needs" to be done now versus what can be done later. Everyone I worked with was pleasant, professional, and not only did they listen to my concerns, but they also gave solid, common sense, recommendations about how best to proceed. In addition, the fact they were able to provide me with a loaner vehicle was extremely helpful as I had a number of things to do that required transportation and I was able to accomplish all of them without any difficulty. I filled up the loaner's gas tank and got it washed which, as always seems to be the case, probably explained the 6" of snow fall that evening. The repairs resolved my issues, and it was a pleasure working with everyone at Ervine's. Perhaps the most meaningful thing I can say is that I will return to Ervine's to deal with some of the remaining issues that were identified.

After three "expert" techs and 90 days I got back a car that wouldn't start, locked in gear so it couldn't be rolled around, dead battery and a front tire with a hole so big I can put my fist in it (see picture). WTH happened? They said they could never start it so apparently worked on it in the driveway but despite never getting the car running their "estimate/diagnosis" was it probably needs a transmission module but they didn't have the software to reset or determine if it was bad... THE CHARGES: $600+. I left a car that ran and got back a car that didn't plus had a tire which looked like it was shot with a cannon and a dead battery. I can't recommend them for ANY auto repairs on any thing. Disappointed and $600 poorer.

However, I brought my car to have them repair my power steering repaired. They called me and told me that it was fixed. But when I arrived at home my power steering was still leaking and I had to keep putting power steering fluid to work. I took my car back to them again to fix it. Once again they told me it was repaired. A few days later my wife was stranded while shopping for over an hour because the hose that they replaced was an inferior hose. I had to take my car to another repair shop and they told me that whoever replaced that hose was not a proper hose and it didn't even have a clamp on it. I called Quality Break and Auto repair being that they didn't do the job correctly after two times of bringing my vehicle to their shop. I called them to ask that some of he money be returned to me being that I had to pay over $600.00 again to actually have it repaired correctly. I was told that there was nothing they could do! I recently purchased a 1991 Mercedes Benz 560SEL from Garage Kept Motors. According to the CARFAX,…read morethis car had been serviced by German Auto Service in 2024, 2025 and 2026, two months before I purchased the car. Since I live in Florida and because German Auto Service was familiar with the car, I called and wanted to talk with someone who knew the car. Josh returned my call and he assured me that other than an interior door handle the car was in great condition. I then asked if I needed them to perform a pre-purchase inspection and he told me that it was not necessary. I'm not blaming German Auto Service for the fact that the car was delivered without the air conditioning in working order but that is not the end of the problems. European Starr, a service facility in Sarasota, Florida who specializes in classic Mercedes Benz cars has just given me the four page list of what is wrong with the car which totals to just over $12,000. Needless to say, if Josh had been honest with me or told me that they would do a pre-purchase inspection, I would not be in this situation now. They are not 100% to blame as Garage Kept Motors also claimed the car was perfect.
