I have never ordered a golf shaft online. I found a shaft that I believed would fit my club head and ordered it. For 5 days I worried that the shaft would break in shipping or that since the shaft was used, it would be abused. When the package arrived, the shaft was in one piece (main worry) although it was loose in the box and the shaft looked absolutely to be in near new condition. I'm highly satisfied with my purchase. read more

They do not have new clubs. There are very few people helping customers. The prices were not particularly low. They do however have a lot of used golf iron sets and several hitting bays. read more

Love this place they have high end clothing at a discount price. I've never had any issues

Bought a set of irons from here and 3 of the heads snapped off within a year, waiting on the rest to break. Not even a discount was offered for replacement clubs. Should've just bought new and save some $ at this point. read more

Very poor customer service offered....they sent wrong shaft on a club ordered and would not resolve or respond to my complaint...they just offered a return label with no explanation....would not answer phone calls or text...... avoiding this company from now on! read more

I have bought a few clubs from Mike's. They offer exceptional value and service. Clearly, if one goes in on a Saturday or Sunday morning, service is not going to be the same as planning to go when there are fewer shoppers. If you require service, plan accordingly. I have found all the salespeople to be extremely helpful. They eagerly assisted in matching a shaft to a club head. (I found a club head but the shaft was too stiff. They swapped a shaft out from another club and I was on my way.!) I couldn't be happier. I got three fairway woods for the cost of my new driver three years earlier. read more

Their sign says "We buy ALL". Well they do not. Went in there to sell my beginner lady's clubs. Not interested was his response. Asked him about the buy All. " well almost all" was his response read more

Over the past 4 years I have purchased several golf clubs from Mike's via their eBay store. All the clubs were accurately described and photographed. Shipping was timely. New logoed boxes were used. A packing slip with purchase details is included with the items. Though not offering the lowest prices on eBay, it's easy to justify a few extra dollars for the better quality of the used golf clubs. I will buy from Mike's again. Recommended! read more

Quality not quantity is the most valuable commodity in the business of golf rn but I think the price should be lower on things some of the clubs still have dirt and help is never around the ppl in that work in there really don't care read more

DONT BUY FROM HERE ! I Bought 2 Fugikura shafts from this place at 200 dollars a piece."BOTH,YES BOTH" were defective...Adapters were faulty. One had to be shimmed it was so loose and the othe had a hole drilled in the center so the head would not tighten securely. How these were sold at that pricepoint is beyond me.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.You will get BURNED !!! read more

I visited on 8/2/24, looking for a new driver, guy behind the counter directed me to the back of the store to select some drivers and pointed out the hitting bays, said there are sales people on the floor to assist. I selected a few clubs, went to 2 different bays, the tracker was not working well, the one at the driving ranges are better. After hitting for about 10 minutes, and no one in sight to assist, I put the clubs back, counted 13 customers in the store, none were being assisted, I seen the sales people (for lack of a better phrase), all together behind the counters talking with each other. Their pricing is better than golfers warehouse, but there service is awful. No one who works is interested in selling, just looking busy. 1 guy was on the floor doing inventory I believe. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I bought a club off their eBay site and the transaction went through for $100+. Money Paid. A few days later they messaged me and said "We can't find that club in our shop. Pick another club or get a refund." So I picked another club and asked them to overnight it for the inconvenience because I needed it for a golf tournament. They said it wouldn't get there until Monday (3 days later). I said that's fine. Come Monday I get a message from FedEx that the club has shipped. So they waited until Monday to ship it. It didn't arrive for another 9 days. The club arrived and it wasn't even the same club. It was also packaged with one sheet of paper so I'm surprised it wasn't scratched more than it was when it arrived. Now I'm returning the club for a full refund and I'll be in shock if I even get a refund after all of this. They have bad reviews on their eBay account and I posted my review about this and they immediately took it down. Now I'm on the phone with eBay making sure my review goes back up so I can warn other buyers of what happened. If you're considering buying from them, go to their eBay and read the negative reviews. You will be in shock. They've done nothing right to resolve the problem I had with them, not to mention they falsely advertised a golf club for sale, lied about shipping, and then send me the wrong club entirely. 0 stars if I could. read more

Had wonderful experience! Hit many different brand of clubs, then spent almost two hours with Ron E. watching me hit. He made spot on suggestions, and I ended up with Mizuno woods and Titleist irons,( 3 wood & 2 wedges brand new) all came came in my target budget!!!!! The woods were less that two yrs old and the irons five yrs old but look hardly used. You will feel like a kid in a candy store, except it's golf......Their listings on the website is never up to date due to heavy turnover. After a free wedge deal fell through, and returning the two new wedges, I went back this past Saturday. Spent an hour just hitting wedges. Settled on a brand and model. One wedge was used, two brand new, and I got them all for the used price. What a place!!! read more

Great prices helpful staff and a large selection of mostly used golf equipment was about 30% of stock new stock balls gloves hats. I've bought many clubs here over the last several years and will make sure I go again and often. They also pay a fair price if you turn in equipment. The return policy is wonderful. If you don't want to pay top dollar for new equipment in the sort of golf golfer who can appreciate a good value this is the place. My friends and I all shop here. read more

I went in the is weekend looking to get a new-to-me putter. It has been a few years since my last visit and BOY was I surprised. The last time I was at Mike's it felt like they were trying to put 10 pounds of golf clubs in a 5 pound shop. Since then, they have expanded and there is plenty of room to walk around and shop. It very much has the feel of another golf shop that is just around the corner, but with lower prices. read more

I recently tried to sell my Taylormade made driver to them and was quoted a price of $130.00. They sent me a check for $95.00, and said kiss my ass if you want more. This is the 2nd time Mike's has screwed me. A couple of years ago I bought a set of TA7 irons from them and they sent me a set of TA5's. To get a refund for their error, which they never said sorry for, I had to pay the return freight for the refund. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SHYSTERS! read more

I was in the market to get a driver and happened to be nearby. Stopped in and I was amazed at the sheer volume of clubs and equipment that they had. They have reasonable pricing (vs ebay sales) and it is so easy to see what you are looking for. All clubs are sorted by irons, woods, drivers, sets, putters, men's, women's. Even the drivers are sorted by stiffness and there is a bargain rack (under $100) where I picked up a driver for my son for $30. All you need to do is scan the rack and see that heads are marked with a sticker identifying the stiffness. I looked through, grabbed a few sticks, and went over the a hitting bay to test them out. Every bay has tracking software and a screen to see how you are hitting with the usual stats. I have to say that everyone I spoke to was fine, but I also sort of helped myself. I paid maybe a few bucks over the lowest ebay price, but I got to look at the condition, pick through a huge selection and hit my choices to see which one was the best fit. Totally worth it. I highly recommend this place. Too many people willing to write a negative review based on some minor slighting or reasonable issue that "**it happens". Check them out. read more

Visited Mike's store in Hartford. Made a club selection from many other clubs. Hundreds! Went to check out after hours of searching. When I handed the clerk my club selections for a purchase he scanned the barcode and told me that the club that I selected was sold online minutes earlier. Are you kidding me! Stick your used club selection up your ass. Refuse to do business at Mike's. Refused to return. Asinine to deal with people looking for clubs. Have a sign posted: You could be waisting your time! The club may already be sold. Dumb asses!!!! read more

Mike's has numerous listings on eBay for Ping Eye 2 Plus No Plus sand wedges. The vast majority of the listings are NOT Plus No Plus clubs. I have sent them numerous messages advising them of this and they refuse to correct the listings. I took the time to look online for a club I was after. After locating it online at "Mike's Golf Outlet" I drove down to the the store to grab it. I located the club in the store and went to the register. Only to find out it had already been sold. To my frustration they said I was out of luck... This is a great place to try any club in their inventory. They are very gracious with time in their hitting bays and their inventory is impressive. "New" doesn't mean better in golf. Avoid this place at all cost, unless you want the worst headache of your life- These guys are fumbling bumbling idiots !!! Bought a set if irons over the phone with Lana and paid with PayPal. Two weeks later.....no clubs, but I get a refund and a note- They can't find the clubs ??? Thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and inquired about two other sets and included the stock numbers. Bought a couple clubs online from them because of their combined shipping discount. No discount for me, but they still shipped in the same box. Cheapskates. Tried 3 times to contact them. Nothing. Only response they made was to open a case on ebay against me. Zero communication. To top it off, one of the clubs I received (late by the way) was missing a part. Terrible company!!!! Avoid them at all cost. Shop elsewhere. read more

I cracked my driver head. Mike's was selling the same head as mine with a delivery date that would arrive in plenty of time before my club's tournament. Second time I have done business with Mikes golf outlet and was very dissatisfied. Month and a half ago bought a club for 109.00. I know I was over 30 days but wanted to buy another club for 124.00. This place is fantastic... anyone that left a bad review doesn't know what they are talking about. HUGE selection of clubs- one of the largest eBay sellers in the country. Massive warehouse of everything from New, Lightly Used, to Used. Several Trackman Golf bays to try and track shots to check out the clubs. Fair prices, and when you buy several used clubs or set, they usually hook you up with decent discount on top of it. Buy here. read more

I ordered a new set of irons from Mike's Golf Outlet online on Aug 2. On August 3rd they provided me with a tracking number and a delivery date expectation of Aug 8. I attempted tracking and only saw "Tracking number provided" so I called them yesterday August 10th to ask why. I provided the order number and after more than 10 minutes of waiting, I was informed that they don't have those clubs and haven't for months. I am now waiting for a refund and have bought them elsewhere. False advertising, bait and switch and slow customer service. It took them a week to discover that they didn't have what they advertised? If I hadn't called, I'd still be waiting. With so many other reputable sellers, I will not buy from them again and I will tell at least 10 people of my experience. read more

I ordered a Taylor Made Driver a few months ago whilst overseas from this company. It was delivered, but I did not return to the USA until this month. I opened the package which was undamaged, but the driver just broke at the shaft under the grip (hidden) as soon as I addressed a ball!! I didn't even swing the club! I enquired about any compensation and was told NO!! Not the service or reputation I had hoped for from a company with a rating on 99% plus on EBAY.....Lesson Learnt...won't be buying here again. read more
