Clearly, if one goes in on a Saturday or Sunday morning, service is not going to be the same as planning to go when there are fewer shoppers. If you require service, plan accordingly. I have found all the salespeople to be extremely helpful. They eagerly assisted in matching a shaft to a club head. (I found a club head but the shaft was too stiff. I visited on 8/2/24, looking for a new driver, guy behind the counter directed me to the back of the store to select some drivers and pointed out the hitting bays, said there are sales people on the floor to assist. I selected a few clubs, went to 2 different bays, the tracker was not working well, the one at the driving ranges are better. After hitting for about 10 minutes, and no one in sight to assist, I put the clubs back, counted 13 customers in the store, none were being assisted, I seen the sales people (for lack of a better phrase), all together behind the counters talking with each other. Their pricing is better than golfers warehouse, but there service is awful. No one who works is interested in selling, just looking busy. 1 guy was on the floor doing inventory I believe. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I bought a club off their eBay site and the transaction went through for $100+. Money Paid. A few days later they messaged me and said "We can't find that club in our shop. Pick another club or get a refund." So I picked another club and asked them to overnight it for the inconvenience because I needed it for a golf tournament. They said it wouldn't get there until Monday (3 days later). I said that's fine. Come Monday I get a message from FedEx that the club has shipped. So they waited until Monday to ship it. It didn't arrive for another 9 days. The club arrived and it wasn't even the same club. It was also packaged with one sheet of paper so I'm surprised it wasn't scratched more than it was when it arrived. Now I'm returning the club for a full refund and I'll be in shock if I even get a refund after all of this. They have bad reviews on their eBay account and I posted my review about this and they immediately took it down. Now I'm on the phone with eBay making sure my review goes back up so I can warn other buyers of what happened. If you're considering buying from them, go to their eBay and read the negative reviews. You will be in shock. Great prices helpful staff and a large selection of mostly used golf equipment was about 30% of stock new stock balls gloves hats. I've bought many clubs here over the last several years and will make sure I go again and often. They also pay a fair price if you turn in equipment. The return policy is wonderful. Had wonderful experience! Hit many different brand of clubs, then spent almost two hours with Ron E. watching me hit. He made spot on suggestions, and I ended up with Mizuno woods and Titleist irons,( 3 wood & 2 wedges brand new) all came came in my target budget!!!!! The woods were less that two yrs old and the irons five yrs old but look hardly used. You will feel like a kid in a candy store, except it's golf......Their listings on the website is never up to date due to heavy turnover. After a free wedge deal fell through, and returning the two new wedges, I went back this past Saturday. Spent an hour just hitting wedges. Settled on a brand and model. I recently tried to sell my Taylormade made driver to them and was quoted a price of $130.00. They sent me a check for $95.00, and said kiss my ass if you want more. I was in the market to get a driver and happened to be nearby. Stopped in and I was amazed at the sheer volume of clubs and equipment that they had. They have reasonable pricing (vs ebay sales) and it is so easy to see what you are looking for. All clubs are sorted by irons, woods, drivers, sets, putters, men's, women's. Even the drivers are sorted by stiffness and there is a bargain rack (under $100) where I picked up a driver for my son for $30. All you need to do is scan the rack and see that heads are marked with a sticker identifying the stiffness. I looked through, grabbed a few sticks, and went over the a hitting bay to test them out. Every bay has tracking software and a screen to see how you are hitting with the usual stats. I have to say that everyone I spoke to was fine, but I also sort of helped myself. I paid maybe a few bucks over the lowest ebay price, but I got to look at the condition, pick through a huge selection and hit my choices to see which one was the best fit. Totally worth it. I highly recommend this place. Too many people willing to write a negative review based on some minor slighting or reasonable issue that "**it happens". Check them out. read more

Mike's has numerous listings on eBay for Ping Eye 2 Plus No Plus sand wedges. The vast majority of the listings are NOT Plus No Plus clubs. I have sent them numerous messages advising them of this and they refuse to correct the listings. Sounds like a minor issue I know but the Plus No Plus clubs are worth more than a regular Ping Eye 2 or a Ping Eye 2 Plus. He is guilty of false advertising and cheating his customers. read more

I attempted tracking and only saw "Tracking number provided" so I called them yesterday August 10th to ask why. I provided the order number and after more than 10 minutes of waiting, I was informed that they don't have those clubs and haven't for months. I ordered a Taylor Made Driver a few months ago whilst overseas from this company. It was delivered, but I did not return to the USA until this month. I opened the package which was undamaged, but the driver just broke at the shaft under the grip (hidden) as soon as I addressed a ball!! I didn't even swing the club! I have been a long-time customer of Mike's but have seen the customer service deteriorate greatly. They do not answer the phones at Sales, Customer Service or the Retail Store. E-mails and texts also are not returned. Recently I called and e-mailed many times regarding a return credit they had not issued to me. Here is my problem with online reviews, no retailer is perfect. Clubs sold and not removed from inventory before someone else orders it? That even happens are huge retailers like Kohls and Dick's . I've purchased equipment from Mike's 4 times in the past year. I've received everything I've ordered in the condition it was listed in. I shared my success with my Senior group, and no one has had a problem with Mike's yet.
