After discussing my issues with them and trying on a couple pairs of shoes, it turns out my previous shoes were too small. Strange thing considering my age, but at some point my feel got bigger by a couple sizes. Problem solved. Once we figured out the size issue, we discussed my running/walking and then the real fun began! I tried on 5 or 6 pairs of shoes and was able to find some that feel great. I have a number of miles on them and am very satisfied. They even gave me a free shirt to go with my new shoes. Knowing what I know now, I could buy my next pair of shoes online but I will buy from Varsity again to support the great service I have gotten.

They did not have any on display so rather than buy the more expensive one, I asked one of the employees. This guy was great. He not only checked for me, be went to the back, got one and even brought it to my car. He went way above and beyond to help and was friendly the whole time. Even though the store was packed, they were well staffed and had all the registers going. While standing around I had at least four different employees ask if I needed help. Thanks Academy.
