Mr. Abate was very prompt in getting back to me for an estimate. I took off the day from work to let him see what needs to be done and he arrived on time. After the initial visit, I thought I would get an estimate in a few days, a week at the latest. However, I got no estimate. After a week, I emailed Mr. Abate after the holiday, thinking that it's a busy time for families and to take that into consideration. He replied, stating that he would get the estimate to me the following day. I told him to take his time, thinking that another week would be the maximum time that I would have to wait. Unfortunately, it's been about a month, and I still haven't received an estimate. I didn't bother reminding him again because I can take a hint. That's fine, if you don't want to do a job, just let the potential client know, so we can find someone else. I wanted to get the paint job done before some medical considerations and even getting to this point was a big deal for me due to some health issues, but I will have to delay a new paint job for a few months now because of the delay in getting the estimate back.

Anthony sent Eddie, who showed up exactly when he was supposed to, was incredibly nice (even to our overly-friendly dog) and got the job done perfectly and within record time. We had friends over for drinks the other night and my husband kept wanting to show them his beautiful new bathroom. Oh yes, and the pricing on this job was extremely competitive. I told Anthony I would happily be a reference for his company. We'll be sure to contact him the next time our entire place needs repainting.

Showed up on time to do the estimate. Provided a quick quote and scheduled the work. They purchased all the supplies needed for the job (and didn't charge a commission for that). Removed the broken ladder, replaced with the new ladder and installed nice face trim. Cleaned up the work area nicely. It works perfectly and looks nice. I wish every contractor was this great!

When mold showed through the ceiling of the room below the shower and the mold remediation contractor cut through the ceiling it was clear we needed to consider replacing the shower and much of the subfloor. Serious perusing of reviews on yelp led me to JRW. Just one phone call made me hopeful. First they re- grouted the shower pan/wall connection so it could be used until they had an opening in their schedule a few weeks away to replace the shower. Finally the big day came. Joel (the owner) sent me photos (it was a tenant occupied home) everyday and explained every step of the way what needed to be done and how much it would cost. He respected my decisions. He also picked out materials subject to my approval - and I always said yes because his choices were excellent as well as in budget. I had been concerned of the impact of a big project with workers in and out every day for a week or so on the tenants. I needn't have worried, the day after it was complete the tenant emailed me unsolicited and said that the workers did a great job: excellent workmanship, seemed trustworthy, respectful of the tenants and house, cleaned up everything and though they hope no more issues arise, they said if workers are ever needed there again they would hope it's the crew from JRW. Two small issues arose unrelated to this project (sticky door and gutter issue) and Joel took care of them for a minor charge. Most mom and pop landlords will tell you- the dreaded call from a tenant that something is broken causes you a few minutes of angst trying to figure out who to call to get it fixed. Now that I know about JRW, I won't feel that worry anymore.

It was a bit of a tricky job due to the trim being arched, which meant it had to be traced and cut appropriately. I had the pleasure of contacting David, whom I asked several questions of how he would go about the process and I felt very comfortable with everything he walked through. He scheduled the work for a couple weeks out, text notifications let me know when he would be arriving and he was able to complete everything within a few hours. David cut the replacement beautifully using PVC so there is no maintenance on it in the future and caulked / sealed up all points of exposure to rain. He was very efficient, kind, and answered all the questions I had since I'm learning to do these kinds of tasks on my own. The pricing was extremely competitive and there's no question that I'll have David back pretty soon for other jobs around my home that I'm not comfortable handling. During the pandemic, I watched Pacer paint their house from my home office, and not only did they do a great job on the house, they were speedy! My husband and I had been talking about painting our house a darker color for years- we had a terribly chipping maroon skirting around the house that needed to go and a basic beige color that was also chipping in areas. A fresh change was needed! Paul is very nice, super responsive and helpful to those of us who have never painted our house before (color match, paint questions, etc.). We had some cracked siding pieces, as well as crumbling spots on our Hardie Board cement siding- we picked up matching Hardie Board siding boards at Lowe's and Pacer was able to cut and install pieces to the spots that needed it, as well as replace wood trim boards so the finished product just knocks it out of the park! After 1 day of scrapping and 2 days of painting, I came home to a completely brand new house! We went bold (pictures below) from beige to a dark navy- my phone was blowing up with text messages from all of my neighbors of how much they loved how it looked. In 5 days, the crew was finished, and this was no small job! The crew of 3 were super friendly as well- when you paint your house stark white, you start noticing exterior doors that aren't so white, so we asked them to paint them too. No problem! They are super meticulous and by no means sloppy- the edging of the two colors meeting is on point. Highly recommend this crew to anyone!

We were recommended these painters by my parents; their condo complex had used them for all the…read morepublic spaces and said they were fast and did a good job. So before my husband and I moved into our new place, we had them give us an estimate as well as paint almost all the rooms. This included some spackling over holes/damage so the entire process took two days, and this included the rooms where the colors required three coats of paint (one a deep blue; one a creamy white, but it was being painted over pink). The work came out looking excellent, with extremely clean lines and crisp edges. The cost ended up being slightly over the estimate due to the third coat of paint that was needed, but it all came out perfectly; wouldn't change a thing.
