I was quoted 158 for this job the day prior over the phone and I confirmed at the start of the appointment if that would be the price. My brakes were in poor shape, missing a brake pad on one side and the mechanics spent an extra 15-20 mins working on my cylinder. At the end of the job, Chris informed me that they got air on the line and would have to bleed the brakes. (I've always had my brakes bled at the end of any brake job so this is standard for me to have done whenever I get my breaks done. They told me this would be an extra 120 dollars at the end of the job. My father is a mechanic and said that price was a little high just to bleed the brakes and was very familiar with the procedure. He told me "go call your dad and ask him to send you more money." When I asked if they could take 20 bucks off and knock the price down to 100 from 120 he asked me to tell him how old I was which I thought was rude and uncalled for. I told him I was 30 and he proceeded to say "wow you look 18" and said "one day you're going to have to learn that everything in life isn't free sweetheart." When I went to his office to pay he also said I'm going to have to buy him lunch because they spent extra time working on my car than they planned. Disgusting behavior. I would not recommend this shop to any woman (or really anyone) unless you want to be taken advantage of and upsold. They ended up bleeding one brake so my car would be somewhat drivable. My interior dashboard was also scratched up when I got my car back from them.

While providing a constant beat to drive to (and practice freestyle rapping) is was irritating as hell! I took it to another shop and they told me the tie-rods (?) were bad...had them replaced... WHUMP WHUMP! Went back and had new struts put on... WHUMP WHUMP! DAYUM! Finally something kicked in and I decided to find a local reputable company and I really hit the jackpot with Darrell's. Here's why: 1) I found them online and they had great reviews. We all know the power of a good review from happy customers! 2) After I performed my freestyle rap of what was wrong with the car, the owner Terry said "Okay, let's go drive it." What?!? Long story short(ish) - I sent my 1965 Impala to them in February of 2024 for a new trunk pan, and body work (filling two holes, one on each rear quarter panel above the exhaust) as well as a paint job. Not only did I have to beg and please for photos of the car while they had it in their possession, but it took them until November of 2025 to actually send me a picture of the car and guess what; NO WORK DONE TO IT AT ALL! To make matters even worse, I didn't end up getting my car back until February of 2026 - They held my car hostage for an entire 24 months. And to my dismay, you could argue that I got the car back worse than how I sent it to them. The paint was chipped around the door jam, it's littered with drips, scratches, bubbles, and pock marks. I live in NY, and I had a local body shop guy come to look at it to see if we could save the car, but it's worse than we could imagine. The paint is only half the problem - the actual body work they did underneath the paint is warped, and I'd need to basically undo everything they did and start from scratch if I want to save my car. $10,000 down the drain. And guess what, just as a last kick in the tail - The trunk pan wasn't even replaced. They just welded the holes and put sealant to make it look like they put an entirely new one in. I wish I could do more than just write this review that most people aren't going to see, but unfortunately this is the best option for me. NEVER CONSIDER THIS PLACE A FUNCTIONING BUSINESS. - Oh yeah and one last thing to note by the way - I sent the car down to them with a high quality seal skin car cover, and got the car back with an unopened cheap $50 off brand car cover from walmart
