Once I dropped off the car, I was later called and given a price of $887.43. I asked for them to email the invoice which they did. They tried to charge 317.86 for 2 rotors. After looking up the part numbers I realized how ridiculous this price was. I called two other auto shops near this shop and was given a out the door price of $520. Of course I told them I was just going to pick up my car and not pay $887.43. They charged me $75 to get my keys because they did a brake check (on the invoice, it is free)

The tires needed to be ordered so he gave a deposit before he flew home. AJ their Assistant Service Writer called me the next day when the tires were in. Since we were all visiting for the holidays we actually made an appointment to put the tires on a few days later. When we arrived I checked in with AJ. I decided to wait bc I had my mom with me and it would be less running around. While waiting, I also spoke with Patrick their General Manager, and Tony their Manager. All 3 were very friendly and kind. They answered all my questions, and explained everything. I had my elderly mom with me and these guys had a lot of patience. What I really loved about Apex is besides selling tires, they take pictures of what's wrong with your vehicle and add it to your online profile account so you can see up close and personal what's wrong and the parts they replaced. This place seems to be very honest and truthful which is rare. They will also give you an estimate.You can go online to see all work done. I highly recommend making an appointment. This place gets very busy. They have two buildings. One in the front of the driveway, and one towards the back. The actual entrance is in the front building. They have a small waiting area. My mom's tires were put on and the tires were rebalanced. They can work on all types of vehicles. Their prices were competitive. I would definitely use Apex again

Everytime we go there and I'm sure everyone else that's used his service has seen, that he tells you one thing and then your now coming out with a higher bill then was told before. I came in for a problem with my truck and paid 1k for something he "thought" , it still had the same problem and he was already paid, I was told he'd take care of it and handle it. But he did not care , he figured since he was paid already it's not his problem apparently! I kept repeating in text to him I want my moneys worth, I came for a problem and still have it going on , it's YOUR JOB the profession YOU chose, I then went to go pickup my car and he told me he doesn't like being talked that way and to get in my car and go and he never wants to see me again. I found it funny a grown man chose to let his emotions get the best of him. I've always found it skeptical yet I kept coming here because my family uses this guy all the time. the first time I brought it back and my car still having the same problem, he did a oil change because he said the oil was very dirty and disgusting which it could've been, and said that it could be the issue of power outage, he told me he'll do another oil change after and see how it is. Today is the day I brought it back, as you see in the message he said he'd do the oil and I get back and check it and my oil is empty now. So is my gas, This guy is a joke. My mom even had her car there for 3 weeks! And the whole time he's been "waiting" on parts he went ahead and told her it was the pump for hers yet her car is still having the same issues even after replacing what he said it was. So as mine. I brought it there the first time working driving and next thing you know it wasn't driving @ all and he told me I needed to get that changed. Never even got the original problem I was there for fixed .. it amazes me how people like this are still around. Then again all mechanics are most likely not even trusted and this guy is one definitely one of them. I will be suing if any changes to my car is noticed. I don't know what he did or put down my engine. DONT Trust this guy it's all just an act. By guy I mean David, he's a character

I have a Ram TRX that needed new breaks but I wanted a big upgrade for the 7,000 pounds truck I drive that pushes over 1,000 HP. Brandon's did not disappoint. I have custom rims and just finding a break caliper that would fit and have the stopping power I wanted was a challenge. They've saved me money time and time again after a dealership suggested something needed fixing that didn't. One time, I was in there and a guy was arguing (good-naturedly) with Tom, insisting that he pay for some work that Mad Hatters had done. Tom was insisting that he not pay, because the work wasn't quite right or something. How often do you see a customer insisting to pay for something, and a business insisting the customer NOT pay? That's the kind of relationship the Mad Hatters folks have with their customers. They look out for their customers' best interest.

I've got to admit, I just left Brakes Xpress and I left pretty flabbergasted...in a good way…read more I came in for a full inspection as I am going on a road trip and wanted to ensure that everything was in tip-top shape. I didn't have to make an appointment, I just came in when they opened, and I was out of there within 15 minutes. They didn't charge me at all for the inspection, which is incredibly uncommon. And they found not one thing wrong with my car. Yes, you read that right. Not one thing. That sounds weird to a lot of people like me, because anytime I go in for something as simple as an oil change, there are about 10 other things that need to be maintained and paid for. On top of that, they were so nice! And attentive! I was still so shocked, that I kept mentioning specific things like my brake pads, the tread on my tires, my oil, and they just kept reassuring me that everything was in really good condition. I just found it so hard to believe that I could walk into an auto mechanic for an inspection, and walk out paying absolutely nothing, not even for the time it took them to inspect my car. So because I'm writing this review based on my experience, I cannot comment on prices nor quality of work. But I do think the fact that I walked out having paid nothing, shows me that this is the first honest mechanic I've ever come across. And I will definitely be back for the next bit of maintenance that needs to be done on my car. When I do that, I will absolutely update my review regarding pricing and quality of work.
