A couple of months back, maybe six months or so I bought a used 2012 suburban. About two months…read moreinto having my car it started having some mechanical issues and I took it back to the dealer and they referred me to a local mechanic shop (Hometown Tire). Turns out my warranty company that I bought with the car wasn't so great and didn't pay for a lot of the repair. Fast forward to a few weeks ago about (6 months) my car started making the very same sound as before and went through the process of breaking down much quicker to the point where my engine completely stopped and would no longer work. When we took it to a dealership they said that we need a new engine and the warranty company wouldn't pay for it because they had already sent the supposed parts to be fixed the first time around. (Which was not true) I decided to call Hometown tire and speak with the owner, Brad and let him know my situation and get some clarity on what exactly it was they did to fix my car. From the moment I spoke with him I think he could tell that I was drained and upset about my vehicle and before the conversation was over he made me understand clearly that he was on my side and he wanted to do as much as he could to help me get out of the situation that I was in. not only did he hear my story he is working with the dealer who sold me the vehicle and they decided to step up and the dealer bought me an engine for my vehicle, had it shipped out here. So then Brad (hometown tire)also stepped up and is and they're replacing the engine for me free of charge. FOLKS HE IS LITERALLY TAKING MY ENGINE OUT AND PUTTING ANOTHER ONE IN FREE OF CHARGE!!!!! Brad reminded me that he's about helping people and that it was the christian thing to do. I was speechless. Never in my life have I experienced such a thing. So if you live in Walton County or your just passing through and you need your car looked at, you can trust Hometown Tire to take care of you and your vehicle. I am grateful and honored to give them this review.

I went in and was greeted warmly, Brad was extremely welcoming and clearly takes great care of all his customers. I was only there for about 25 minutes while they replaced my tire. The interior is also beautiful--very clean, comfy seating, and plenty of refreshments and magazines. My car turned out great, overall grade-A experience!

I highly recommend this place, I hope to see Brandon again when I bring my vehicle back for service. Maybe next time I will get to chat with him a little more and leave him a bigger tip. I was tempted to stop back by to chat him up. Also, the prices are great too.

Within 500 miles, he had to buy new front end tires (another $600) due to the miscalculation of the alignment. We just bought these tires brand new on March 30th of this year. He also had to pay a different shop to do another, proper alignment, and we've had no issues with the truck since. When he called to tell Turner Tire about it, the woman who answered was very nice and told him to bring the truck in along with the paperwork from the shop that did the second alignment. He did that today and again, she was very nice. However, a man came out to speak with him and basically said too bad. It's the other shop's word against his and he won't do anything about it. So don't go here unless you like wasting money on services and want to buy new tires right after having an alignment. $700 down the drain is an expensive lesson for average people like us.
