Upon entering crazy ravens, even the displays as you drive in makes the start of the experience,…read moreepic! The front entrance is very creative with how they made all the skeletons crawling around. That being said it's spooky enough for teens but not too scary for young kids! My brothers, Bf and I (15-22) went with family and young cousins (1-7) and had a blast! They only have crazy fast ride, the tornado. But even then that ride is based on how fast you'd like it to go. The slide, dragon ride, and the funhouses that they had were amazing and the people running the rides were even better! A lot of the service people were patient and very sweet. Price wise is pretty good! For the rides were were able to go on all of them for a good deal. The only things that were very expensive was the dart throwing and water balloon race. As for food, although they had a great selection, is very costly! I would recommend eating beforehand. For GF community- food there was not gluten free. At least the big stuff. The cotton candy, popcorn, juices and drinks were okay but if you are high on the celiac panel, the whole vendor spot has a lot of deep fried stuff around all of the other food. There are also pumpkins at crazy ravens. Surrounding these pumpkins are a lot of cute photo booth areas, and even a small hay maze for little kids. We didn't get pumpkins when we went but there is such a good variety! All together, a super awesome place! The only thing my family and I had said would be cool is is they had a fruit cup vendor there because we would totally buy some! Thank you for a great night Crazy Ravens

There was nobody supervising the corn maze so everyone that wanted to went in there and it got bottlenecked. Parents were bringing in strollers and making it worse. I had a panic attack and had to get my kids out by going my through the corn. We paid for a hay ride out of our charter funds and never got to participate because the wait was so long. We are pretty sure other families were going back for a second ride but will never know since there is zero accountability or supervision for any portion of this place except the snack bar. The animals are treated inhumanely with the baby calf being held in a small cage so the kids can overwhelm it and it has zero say in who touches its own body while it isn't with its mother. The snake was hissing at everyone because it didn't want to be around so many people but they kept taking it out anyway. We will not be going back again. Edit to add: I got an email from Yelp saying someone complained about this review so I should edit it. I can only guess who. But here's my edit... The thing is... this was the experience of my kids and I and I don't think we need to be silenced because you don't like it. We saw these things and even my kids were upset about it.

It was only recently we attended if we weren't away traveling as my wife loves a huge festival that entails lots of walking, live music, shopping & food. It's an ideal place at autumn time with giant pumpkin weigh-ins. This year 2025 the top pumpkin weighed 2,147 pounds! Brian Werner from Gridley California won. This year they also had a scarecrow contest, pumpkin recipe contest, lil pumpkin cupcake & youth art contests. There were also multiple stages of entertainment & the pumpkin regatta happened on Sunday. We didn't arrive here until after an hour of opening yet they had plenty of parking at 20 dollars a pop. We did spend several hours here so it was worth our time. Also they do have kids rides & activities for them! That tractor tram ride for kids only looked so fun! It is really a family friendly event! This year we bought their Mediterranean food: chicken gyro & lamb salad. Service was good. My chicken gyro however was meh. Yet my wife loved her tasty spicy lamb salad as she ate the entire entree bc she was hangry! That value on that salad was worth it to her! My wife even purchased her favorite chocolate dipping' dots bc people kept walking past us eating them! We also observed some people dressed in costumes & lots of furry friends on leashes. An ideal place for people watching too! The weather was the most perfect right after a stormy week! Not hot as the temperature was nice & cool! Last Saturday it was odd though as the internet was down so they encouraged to bring cash! Cash is King! Now if you missed this year's festival make it a point to attend next year. It usually occurs the first weekend in October. You will be highly entertained. Seriously. My wife thought her pictures she captured were exceptionally pretty bc of the beautiful pumpkin orangey colors especially against the greenery background, bright sun & blue pond. It does make you appreciate our lovely sunny California weather. We are truly blessed.

I don't know but perhaps I was influenced by someone years back telling me it's not worth coming because there's hardly anything. Boy were they wrong!! I enjoyed every minute of the GPF. Sure it's mostly for kids but I as an adult, with no kids, I still had fun going. There are plenty of food vendors, coffee vendor and a variety of desserts (ice cream, kettle corn, shaved ice). The cooling desserts are much needed on a hot day in October like it was this past weekend. Don't forget to bring a water bottle, hat & sunglasses since you'll be at the park for a couple hours. The vendors are all spread out in Elk Grove Park so there's an ample amount of walking to experience all that there was to offer at the GPF. My friend and I got there close to opening on Sunday morning which is the last day. We did hit a bit of traffic, however, traffic was moving and we weren't stuck on the street for more than 5 minutes. If you go early, you'll find good paved parking. If you go later, you'll be parking in the unpaved areas. Parking was $10 and it is all day or you can chance it and park in the neighborhoods. I was most excited to see the pumpkin regatta but we didn't get to see it because I think they started rowing the pumpkin boats slightly before 12 pm (12 pm was scheduled time). I did see them carving the pumpkins when we arrived at 10 am. There's plenty of photo ops for little kids and adults in the pumpkin village and there was also a scarecrow contest. Many of the vendors give out useable freebies which can be used during the festival or later on. There were also other small businesses that had their own booths such as arts & crafts, trinkets, hand made soaps & bath bombs etc. Plenty of things to do for the whole family of all ages. Just a note, there are 2 different events for Saturday and Sunday. The pumpkin weigh-in occurs on Saturday along with some other fruits & veggies weigh-ins. Sunday is the pumpkin regatta and the big splash after the regatta. There are also different events at the main stage and smaller stages too. Next year, I'm coming on Saturday to watch the pumpkin weigh-in. The winners for the pumpkin weigh-in were present on Sunday with their awards, and there was a final standing for all participants.

We rode the bus from the school and checked in at the designated field trip area when we arrived. Since there were four classes, they split us into groups, which made everything feel organized and smooth. The kids absolutely loved the hay ride and getting a tour of the farm to see the layout. One child was so excited she almost fell over. Her water bottle fell but she was safe. We then visited the animals and learned about all the amazing things the farm does, which was both fun and educational. After the tour, the kids enjoyed time on the playground and had snacks. There were also shops and places to eat, which was great for families and chaperones. The bathrooms are port-a-potties. They do have hand washing stations. I had never heard of this farm before, but it truly exceeded my expectations. We will definitely be back next year! It was only $5 per child and $15 for parents which wasn't bad.

This was our first trip to G&M Farms in Livermore and it was incredibly special and actually quite the fun surprise off the freeway. As we were coming home from a night away, we wanted to stop and have a moment with our little amongst the pumpkins and support an East Bay pumpkin patch. As we were about to pass Livermore, we saw signage and oodles of fun happening for G&M Farms so we pulled off. There is so much to do here! You can grab a red Radio Flyer wagon and truly go hunting for the perfect pumpkin within the patch itself, or if you're on the hunt for more smaller pumpkins/gourds there is a whole gift shop/farm store that is so incredibly cute for basically every pumpkin vibe you can imagine. Plenty of spots to stop and take pictures with friends or family. There's a corn maze, drinks/snacks like mini donuts, popcorn, and corn dogs, and speaking of corn..oh-em-gee! Truly wanted to share a review for this reason alone. Looking for a sensory activity for your little? There is not a sandbox, but a giant CORN box for play. The adults also tried it (essentially we just put our feet in and it felt surprisingly really nice. Something unexpected and truly unique, fun, and interactive. We also noticed a few other activities on the pumpkin patch side like a tractor/train ride and I'm not sure if there was a petting zoo? Regardless, worth a trip if you haven't made your pumpkin haul yet. Plenty of room for strollers and very spread out. Can't wait to make the corn box an annual tradition. Looking forward to truly enjoying the patch next year with more time. Thank you G&M Farms for the memories! Still finding little corn kernels ;)

We picked up our baskets and then let the kids place around their tree house for a little bit before getting on the tractor. Our first stop was peaches and apricots. The peaches were pretty low hanging, and the kids were so excited to pick them. However, there weren't that many ripe ones at this time. There were more ripe apricots, and they were sweet and juicy. Our next stop was the strawberry station where there were plenty of ripe strawberries. Our last stop was the cherry station. Our driver directed us to the last row where we could find ladders. Sure enough the cherries were plentiful and so sweet and juicy. There were even kid size ladders for the littles ones. The fruits were 100 times better than what you'll find at the grocery store, and the kids had so much fun picking their own fruits. If you need a fun activity with the kids, I high recommend coming here.
