Super slide

I love this pumpkin patch! We stumbled across it in 2022 and my son had a blast. He kept talking about it as soon as the Halloween season came around this year. A lot of fun once again! It's a small carnival type pumpkin patch with a handful of rides and games, but perfect for those that don't want to spend a lot of time in lines or in crowds. Can't wait to go again next year!

Tons of great pumpkin sizes to choose from. Very clean environment and friendly staff

Crazy Raven. The definition of a hidden gem for pumpkin patches. It's small scale business offers plenty of free parking and admission. Small, yet daring carnival style rides for those who like to test their iron stomach. A tall and powerful slide that will send you flying to the bottom if you know how to build speed. A short haystack maze for the little ones to run through, even a mirror room to wander around and challenge your wits! The layout is spacious enough to give you some decent elbow room during it's peak hours. The rides are spread along the perimeter in a large oval shape with a delicious carnival food cart directly in the center, paired with a couple resting areas. Pumpkins are neatly presented under a breezy awning, however, any pumpkin they have scattered around the yard can be chosen to take home if you please. I would choose this little gem over Del Osso farms any day. The staff is amazing and treat you like family. The prices for food, rides, and pumpkins are the cheapest I've seen. The music makes you feel like your in Knott's Berry or great America. Crazy Raven has everything you need for your kids to enjoy themselves and have a memorable time with you, without breaking the bank too! Thanks again for having us! Until next year!

Small little carnival pumpkin patch ! Kids had so much fun, they did not want to leave, there opened at 3pm on a weekday, and the operator said $1 ride till 6pm. We purchased $20 worth of tickets and really enjoyed ourselves, We drove 20+ miles and it was worth it.

Parking was free and easy, we got here maybe around 11:00am or so. Granted this was the end of September, so probably not the usual rush as we get closer to Halloween. The babies were free, and my senior parents were free as well (I forget the age requirement, but both my folks are in their 80s) $15 entry for my spouse and I, along with our school-aged kid. There was LOTS to do. My kids probably spent a good 30+ minutes each in the corn kernel pit as well as the bouncy area. We rode the tractor as a family around the corn field. Both kids got into the little miniature tractor ride around the lot, played in the western town, pet and fed the goats, and picked out some baby pumpkins for the house. We probably spent a good 2+ hours just hanging out. They got out all the necessary energy out and passed out for the long car ride home. There were plenty of seating options next to each attraction (corn kernel pit, bouncy area, little western town, petting zoo) which I felt was important especially for my folks, meaning you could let the kids roam free and still be within walking distance in case they got unruly. EVERYONE was so welcoming and friendly, from the folks who were at admissions, to the guy driving the tractor, and the folks by the mini-petting zoo. Just overall a really good experience and an off-the beaten path gem in Galt. We noticed an area for food/beverage options, but we had just eaten breakfast nearby, so I can't speak to the food options. After using Yelp for what seems like 20 years now, I rarely feel compelled to write reviews, but a small mom & pop patch like this and the memories for my littles to kick start the season is well-deserving of one. We'll see you again in a few weeks!

We rode the bus from the school and checked in at the designated field trip area when we arrived. Since there were four classes, they split us into groups, which made everything feel organized and smooth. The kids absolutely loved the hay ride and getting a tour of the farm to see the layout. One child was so excited she almost fell over. Her water bottle fell but she was safe. We then visited the animals and learned about all the amazing things the farm does, which was both fun and educational. After the tour, the kids enjoyed time on the playground and had snacks. There were also shops and places to eat, which was great for families and chaperones. The bathrooms are port-a-potties. They do have hand washing stations. I had never heard of this farm before, but it truly exceeded my expectations. We will definitely be back next year! It was only $5 per child and $15 for parents which wasn't bad.

It was only recently we attended if we weren't away traveling as my wife loves a huge festival that entails lots of walking, live music, shopping & food. It's an ideal place at autumn time with giant pumpkin weigh-ins. This year 2025 the top pumpkin weighed 2,147 pounds! Brian Werner from Gridley California won. This year they also had a scarecrow contest, pumpkin recipe contest, lil pumpkin cupcake & youth art contests. There were also multiple stages of entertainment & the pumpkin regatta happened on Sunday. We didn't arrive here until after an hour of opening yet they had plenty of parking at 20 dollars a pop. We did spend several hours here so it was worth our time. Also they do have kids rides & activities for them! That tractor tram ride for kids only looked so fun! It is really a family friendly event! This year we bought their Mediterranean food: chicken gyro & lamb salad. Service was good. My chicken gyro however was meh. Yet my wife loved her tasty spicy lamb salad as she ate the entire entree bc she was hangry! That value on that salad was worth it to her! My wife even purchased her favorite chocolate dipping' dots bc people kept walking past us eating them! We also observed some people dressed in costumes & lots of furry friends on leashes. An ideal place for people watching too! The weather was the most perfect right after a stormy week! Not hot as the temperature was nice & cool! Last Saturday it was odd though as the internet was down so they encouraged to bring cash! Cash is King! Now if you missed this year's festival make it a point to attend next year. It usually occurs the first weekend in October. You will be highly entertained. Seriously. My wife thought her pictures she captured were exceptionally pretty bc of the beautiful pumpkin orangey colors especially against the greenery background, bright sun & blue pond. It does make you appreciate our lovely sunny California weather. We are truly blessed.

The giveaways were abundant and added a special touch to the day. One of the most unique and exciting activities was the pumpkin races on the water--such a creative and entertaining sight! The people were incredibly friendly, which only enhanced the warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Despite the hot day and the lengthy parking lines, I found free parking in a nearby neighborhood, which was a big plus. The great family vibes made it all worthwhile. The Elk Grove Pumpkin Patch is a fantastic place for families to have fun and make lasting memories. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Realize the kids are gonna be at the Silo entrance further down so trek back to car and drive there. Grab my large jacket and thankfully mine and the kid's lunch in a foil cooler shopping bag and my now only half filled (with water) 40 oz Stanley. The trek from my car to the silo entrance to the kids meeting point inside was LONG. It felt like I had come from hot yoga at this point with all the walking and sun now coming out. It was the beginning of some regrets. But glad I grabbed everything because there was no going back to the car at this point with car over a miles away. Heavy jacket stayed tied around my waist for the rest of the day like a bag of heavy rocks. Add to this the shiny foil bag and my nearly empty 40 oz Stanley with no water fountains in sight. Aside from my large load I toted around all day, the activities around this pumpkin patch are very fun and plentiful. The haunted house is very scary and some little kids will cry from it so be warned. The staff were nice. I understand they want us to buy water but that is where I took away the star because no water fountains. I was chaperoning and some kids were thirsty and I said let's keep an eye out for a water fountain. We never found one. Overall though this place is cool like a mini Disneyland for Pumpkin Farms. Was pleasantly surprised!
