Later in the day I went to Cards and Comics to pick up some cards. Baseball cards in the 80's and 90's are not like today. I was confused and didn't know where to start or what to buy. Brad was so very helpful. He took his time to explain the different packs. The different series. When the next series will be released. What to look for. Not only did he educate me on baseball cards in 2024. He made me sound really cool to my son when I got home and talked cards with him. With Brads guidance. I picked up a couple packs. When I presented them to my son later. He was so stoked. But to my surprise. Brad had tossed a hand full of other cards on the bag and protective sleeves. A huge thank you to Brad at Cards and Comics. This is a great example of why supporting small businesses is important. The big box store would have provided cards (the set was more expensive at then big box store) but they would not have provided the service and the personal approach to helping their customers.
