I noticed he had two chairs inside so as I was getting my money out I asked "excuse me sir do you mind if I sit here?" And he said "You can't sit there that's for customers only" (newsflash if I'm giving you $80 to change batteries I'm a customer) so I grabbed my watches and went to the jewelry kiosk right next to his shop and got the same work done by a young man that was much nicer. The young man there changed the batteries in half the time that Mike said he'd be able to change them so if you're a little short on time, want some better customer service, and want to be treated as a valued customer I recommend just go to the kiosk and speak with them. From my experience they are far more helpful.

After…read morereading several good reviews I took it to a clock repair shop near Orlando to get an estimate for repair. I was told the repair price would be around $700.00 to fix my clock. I did not have the work done and took the clock back home. After checking online to see if this clock was still available I saw that it did increase in price since 2017 when I bought it, but it was $645.00 which included Custom Fees and Shipping. I tried another Website which sells the same model and it was a similar price. I also found the Website had authorized Cuckoo Clock repair shops and found one in Orlando which also repaired the clocks at the German Pavilion at Epcot. This was SOS Clock repair. I had a similar experience as another reviewer when I called the owner of SOS Clock Repair and told him what I had and problem, he walked me through and showed me how to fix the problem myself. He did mention eventually, possibly 20 years, I will need to have the clock oiled professionally, but now it appears to be working great after talking to him on the phone for a few minutes. SOS save me an incredible amount of money. Thank you so much. These people obviously really know what they are doing, and were willing to help me, even at no benefit to themselves. They have gained a very loyal and thankful customer!
