I figured it would be sometime in the future, but she told me that I could bring it right then. It was almost their closing time, and she told me that they would wait for me to get there. I arrived right at closing and dropped off my watch, they were extremely friendly and explained the pricing, which I found reasonable. To my surprise, I received an email two hours later, hours after they closed, explaining that my watch had several aftermarket parts that I was unaware of. When I picked it up, they explained in great detail all the issues they found, which prevented them from working on it. I called the dealer I bought it from, and they gave me a replacement watch, fortunately. I would have never known the issues with my watch and had the opportunity to exchange it, if not for Southeastern Service Center. To top it off, they didn't even charge me. There are still great people, and great businesses, in this world. This is absolutely one of them!!

The jewelry repair 'artist', Sean, immediately said yes. He knew exactly what I wanted. It was finished quickly, on budget, and exceeded my expectations. I sent photos to jewelers all over the US begging for help with my Dad's ring as I am giving it to my son. Sean was the only one who cared about the sentimental value vs the $ for a small, but difficult repair. My wife, who loves bling, was very impressed with their selection, unique pieces, and competitive prices. I highly suggest you stop in and get to know Helen and her family. ZERO stars if I could:…read more I have not encountered such poor customer service in quite some time--likely because I generally choose not to frequent establishments that operate in this manner. My husband and I stopped in while waiting for the rain to pass and decided to inquire about having his Cuban link chain appraised. A young woman with long dark hair approached us to "assist." When we asked if we could have the chain appraised, the exchange went as follows: Customer: Can I get this appraised here? Employee: Yes, but I just work here. So no, I can't do that for you. Customer: (confused) Okay, so then how does an appraisal work? Employee: The jeweler. He's the professional, and he does that. And I told you he wasn't here. At no point prior to this did she inform us that the jeweler was unavailable. Instead, the interaction came across as dismissive, unprofessional, and unnecessarily rude--leaving the impression that she had no interest in earning our business. Establishments should be mindful of the staff they place on the front line, as one poor interaction can easily discourage potential customers from ever returning.
