I was recommended to visit these folks when my optical company couldn't fix the broken screw on my glasses. These people were the BEST!! Not only did they remove the screw, but they went ahead and fixed it to avoid my having to return to the place I bought the glasses. I'm not a jewelry/watch/diamond kind of person, but if they can do such a great job and go above and beyond, not to mention in less than a couple of hours, but they were so friendly and helpful I will be telling everyone I know that this is the ONLY place to go in OBS or anywhere nearby! Wow, the service at Granada Jewelers is fantastic! I brought in my mother's ring when one of the gemstones fell out. Granada Jewelers fixed it in a jiffy at a super reasonable price. About 6 months later, the same gem fell out while I was on a cruise in Alaska putting winter gloves off and on a lot, and when I returned, Granada Jewelers fixed it again free of charge! Now, that's superior service and I really appreciate it. I will always bring my business there. I brought my bracelet in to be fixed it has diamonds and it was baguettes but it was in sterling silver I got it at a pawn shop at a very good price and the class that came with it broke because it was very dainty because at one point it was a very expensive bracelet I was on beach side and I decided to go into the jewelry store since I was already right next door at another store to get it fixed . well I got a silver claw clasp and I was quoted a price that was written on a receipt n that was a lot to begin with. $63.00 then when I came in to pick it up I brought my receipt and she charged me 75 I said why wasn't that much this is a quote that you called agree when I was here and the girl said because they I decided the ring to the bracelet sterling silver is not even gold small places of soldering and my bracelet is worth $10 more than what the actual cloth and soldering cost me which was out of this world that's crazy they tried to blow it off like it was nothing and things happen like that I didn't say a word and I walked out I will never go back there I know people are having a hard time in this world that means I am too but for you to charge somebody $75 dollars for a silver claw clasp and it cost almost as much as the actual bracelet that's ridiculous you know there are such thing as people you know understanding but some people just like to charge as much as they can and they have no problem doing it not good when I'm a local and I send people to a lot of places and I have a business as well hopefully they'll read this and learn there's really nothing they can do now because if they meant it they would have done it the time I was there and they knew I was upset when I left. read more

This is by far the best jewelry store in town, they are friendly and professional. Not only they have a great variety, but the owner goes out of his way to give you exactly what you want. It's a family owned business and you know this is true when you come in a see the grandkids visiting every once in a while. I often bring my wedding ring to be checked and polished, and it's the only place I trust with my husbands watches that he inherited from his father and grandfather. Mauricio is by far the most amazing jeweler I have ever dealt with. His inventory is beautiful, high quality and the prices are fair and reasonable. The staff, Connie and Leanne, are so sweet and helpful and they all have the best taste and a knack for picking out just the right piece. My fiancé says we're on a first name basis with the jeweler because they have my wish list and he goes in on special occasions and always gets the perfect gift for me.... The reason I am writing this review is my engagement ring. I've been checking out the engagement rings and settings in the store for quite a while but recently asked Mauricio about a few rings and he said "let me show you this..." and brought out this beautiful setting. He'd been holding on to it for a while but was about to put it out on display. I fell in love with it and showed my fiancé a picture as soon as I got home. I hinted that this was "the one" and sure enough he went over and had Mauricio set a beautiful, round cut diamond into the band, an antique platinum band set with 14 diamonds and two sapphires. All of the stones are highest quality. perfect and this ring was made for me... over 120 years ago. Do not give them your business. Brought my engagement ring in for a prong repair and when I picked it up, my stone was scratched. I have a very expensive ring that I took photos of before dropping it off. Felt confident when I brought it in since they took a photo of it as well. When I picked it up, there was a noticeable scratch on the top of the stone. Repairman denied the scratch and photos he took when I dropped it off were of such terrible quality, you couldn't see any detail in the stone. Do not trust your sentimental jewelry will be handled with care here. read more

If I could give NO stars I would. The owner is a rude and NASTY man! I dropped a pearl bracelet off 2/27/2019. It was a vintage bracelet and it was three strands. It wasn't a typical bracelet so I knew it would probably be harder to fix. I asked if they could even do it when I dropped it off and they said "oh our lady is great she can do anything." I was like ok. I was very adamant that it be made the exact way it was originally made. When I dropped it off it was only broken in one small spot by the clasp and a few pearls were off and in a box. So it was still very much 90% whole. I was told I would have it back 3/13/2019. Well That date went by and I didn't hear anything. I was sick with the flu the following week so I just thought maybe it's taking longer because the type of bracelet. After another week and a half I tried calling and it was always busy when I called. So i went online to look for another contact number and i found an email. I emailed them asking what was the status and that I had no heard from anyone yet on my bracelet. I get a call 3/25/2019 and am told the lady can't do it because the string is too big for the pearls, which to me seemed like a silly reason as you just buy another size! She then told me the bracelet wasn't touched and was how I dropped it off. I was asked if I wanted it made into anything else and I said no. If I wanted anything else I would have asked for that when I dropped it off! I go pick it up and I am not happy, quite upset actually. She had taken my bracelet apart! It was in one strand and it was still attached to some cord and the spool board it comes on! In a small baggy were the remaining pearls. I immediately got upset and asked why they took it apart if they said they couldn't do it! You would have know the pearls wouldn't fit by the ones that were already off and in the bag! It seemed to me like the person they sent it to started but soon realized they COULD NOT do it the way it was suppose to be and gave up! That is exactly what it looks like. The owner sat there and tried to argue with me that that is how I dropped it off when you could look a the printed image and see that it was most certainly NOT how I left it! He was VERY VERY nasty and started to yell at me and grabbed my items and tried to THROW them! I grabbed them as I was quite upset and honestly scared because I swear he was about to assault me. I remember when I dropped the bracelet off the same man was quite rude and nasty to a woman picking up her rings. I remember thinking wow that guy needs to just stay in the back. I had no idea he was the owner, if I had known that I probably would have left! How DARE you treat a woman that way. I don't know where you come from but that behavior is unacceptable here! You are a vile human being and your own employee looked horrified at your behavior and I guarantee 100% you act like this quite often. You sir give the original owners of Granada Jewelers a terrible name! You have zero compassion or people skills. read more
