Second time I have brought a large wall clock for repair. Had it done within a week and charged a very responsible price to do it!

I called E&C Clock for the first time earlier in 2022, and made an appointment for June. After talking with Edward for a little bit, I realized he's one of these individuals that you can just get a sense of how well he knows his craft, which gave me great confidence. After a scheduling conflict on MY end, they were gracious enough to find a way to reschedule without the lengthy wait period. That right there meant so much to me! They are busy, and they are excellent, so this usually equates to a bit of waiting when dealing with a small business, and it was absolutely worth it! My clock was one I found in a consignment shop in Orlando in Dec. 2019. The last known service date was 17 years prior. The clock worked but would not keep proper time. So I was hoping a regular maintenance was the answer. I found E&C Clock. Edward came to my residence to perform said maintenance and what a great guy he is! Very professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to converse with. He took everything apart with care, did what he had to do and took his time. The service came with a one year warranty. After he left and once I started monitoring the clock closely, I realized it was still unable to keep proper time. I procrastinated, but eventually called back to E & C Clock to see if there was anything they could do. Over a period of time, Edward so patiently instructed me on some various troubleshooting. It finally turned out to be that the clock weights were not original, nor were they the proper weight. Edward was able to order the new weights from the manufacturer and this seems to have done the trick! While we ordered the weights, I inquired about a glass insert for the clock door because this was a solid body/case and you could not see the inner workings of the clock. I had always wanted to do this, and this was a great opportunity! That part was available as well and I am now enjoying this beautiful clock more than ever! See pics! Thank you E & C Clock for your terrific service, and commitment to seeing this issue through!

I recommend setting aside at least 45 minutes to an hour to explore--there's so much to see, and they even have restrooms available for customers so you can take your time. The shop features a wide range of vintage and antique items from multiple vendors. Some standouts include a stunning Hand-Carved Carousel Rocking Horse ($2,495), a rare 1880s Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co. calendar clock ($1,250), an Italian Baroque Secretary ($695), and an Antique Wooden Butter Churn ($375). I also spotted a beautiful 55-piece Harkers Petit Point set ($95), hand-made necklaces ($25-$65), vintage Christmas ornaments, a working vintage pump organ ($175), and a large collection of antique train sets. There's far too much to cover, so trust me when I say--this place is a must-see. The staff here are exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to wrap up my mom's purchases for her flight home. The store is immaculately clean, with well-organized booths and aisles, making it easy to navigate. While most items are easy to spot, be sure to check under shelves and in hidden corners for more treasures; I found several instruments in their original cases tucked away in one booth. For music lovers, there's a booth with a solid selection of rock CDs in like-new condition for just $10 each. Book enthusiasts will appreciate the vintage collections available, like Edgar Allan Poe's Poems and Tales from 1898 ($60) and an older edition of A Christmas Carol ($30), many of which are behind glass cases and require assistance to view. I also found two music books that were great deals: Fun Folk & Frolic Songs for Piano ($2) and John Philip Sousa's Favorite March Book for Bass ($4)--both of which I'm excited to use for practicing music. Pricing varies by item and vendor. Some pieces are reasonably priced, while others are on the pricier side. Each seller has a booth number, and if they're not on-site, the staff will help you contact them for potential price negotiations. However, most prices seem firm, though it never hurts to ask. Whether you're a local or just visiting, The Coop Antiques is a hidden gem that offers something for everyone. I highly recommend stopping by to explore and find something special.
