This guy know what he is doing. I took him my Gucci my wife had dropped off the kitchen counter onto concrete tile. The inner works had popped off track and needed entire guts replaced.. (I kinda knew it as the hands were wonky). He took an hour to look at it, called me back in so I whipped back, showed me what was wrong and I approved him to order the new inners at $280 all in. The watch is worth $600 used, was a gift at $2k new and I went ahead with a 3 week wait time on parts and him to install. We came all the way from Zellwood to Mario shop for him to look at my husband's Movado. it would stop working after about four or five months of running in which we didn't turn around and put another battery from a battery place. He was honest and had integrity and said he saw nothing wrong with it. All he did was change to a thicker battery than what we had. The one we had in the Watch was the correct one but sometimes they require thicker one so that they fit better. He charged nothing for that. He told us to give this a try and see if it runs longer . If it stops again he said come back in. So yes, I give him the highest, regard for his honesty and help. Highly recommend him. read more

I've had two repairs done here. Both were minor; new leather strap and fixing a metal clasp. Pricing is fair as is the quality of work. Location isn't hard to find and there is plenty of parking. I seem to break my watch crystals often and thus I now buy cheap watches. I was given a watch for my anniversary years ago from work and the battery had died even though I had never worn it. I took both watches in. He could have replaced the crystal on my cheap watch and the battery on my expensive gift but he said it would cost more to replace the crystal than the watch was worth. The gentleman at Golden Time was absolutely wonderful. I came in after changing a battery on my own & lost a spring in the process. All functions worked normally EXCEPT the most important one (mode function). He was extremely accommodating, and determined that the spring was just for a contact point to generate the alarm ~ which I didn't use anyway/care about. Even though he was unable to "repair" my watch (the function button would not depress far enough after YEARS of wear & tear), he generously was able to change the time & date accurately (free of charge) while the back was off ~ he had a few "tricks of the trade" up his sleeve. I can't thank you enough ! I look at my watch a hundred times a day, and feel naked without it. I read previous Yelp and Amazon reviews of watch repairers in the Orlando area and decided to give Golden Time a try for what it seemed to me was a complicated and potentially expensive project...the swapping of dial faces and movements from one watch case into another watch case and vice-versa. 15 minutes and $25 later and I was on the road again. The proprietor showed me on his bench another much more expensive watch he had disassembled for cleaning. I made a second visit to get a couple of links taken out of my watch band as it was too big. He did the job for $5 and it was done while I waited for about five mins. After a week of wearing the watch, I felt it was too tight so I went back to put another link back in. I expected to pay him $5 again. He refused payment despite my insistence. I found out about this place by picking up a watch for a friend. I brought 3 of my own watches for a battery replacement as well as 1 watch for a bracelet resizing. Prices are VERY reasonable compared to some of the other places around the area (specifically the jewelry/watch stores in Fashion Square). The prices for my batteries were $7 or $10 each depending on the type. Resizing costed only $5! All the work was done while I waited. Say goodbye to the overpriced stores in Fashion Square.
