Went in because I'm looking for a newer used omega and after a few friends of mine told me to go here I drove across town. The staff first off are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. They do seem to have a decent selection of used quality watch watches although they're asking prices on what they had for omega's are actually higher than what you can get through other sources it seems to me that their markup on stuff that has been traded in. They're making more money than what they do on new stuff and that's based off of the salesman's body language and choice of language he used and or lingo when comparing what he had to what new are selling for I don't know if that makes sense, but you could tell the profit margins were obviously much higher on their used stuff and there is apparently no negotiation I'm still not for sure what I wanna do but I guess it is what it is read more

About 20 years ago, my father left me a nice Rolex Bubbleback wristwatch. I had no idea of "what it was" and couldn't ever see myself wearing it. I stopped by OWC and had a brief chat with Scott, and he gave me a complete historic rundown, physical and market assessment, and offered me....what I thought was an enormous pile of $$ for it. ...market value. This watch is over 70 years old.How can I find replacement part . So they didn't charge me , but they said it's working great, I wore it home and it already stopped working!!! I took my Oris chronograph automatic into Orlando Watch for an estimate after it stopped working. I was told the mainspring was broken, and that the watch needed a complete overhaul. Total estimate was $625 and would take 6-8 weeks to complete. Because the repair estimate was more than I felt the watch was worth, I took it for a second opinion. The second repair shop determined that Orlando Watch repair was incorrect in their diagnosis. The mainspring was not broken, rather it had been displaced, likely by a bump or a drop. They reset the mainspring, cleaned and lubricated the watch, and it now runs like new. Total cost was 1/5 of the Orlando Watch estimate and completed in 5 days. Moral of the story? Always get a second opinion! read more

made a visit for the fourth time to OWC.....two successful and two not . Trade in's are undervalued...shop around to be sure . Retail prices in the store are top end prices...good to shop around again. Good staff but know that whatever you get done there , you are simply paying top prices. They have a lovely new store but know that they simply dont want to negotiate. On a $ 10000 you might see $300 of wiggle room. Overall Ok but know you are paying full retail and getting below prices for trades and hey , they are out to run a business. Nice people . Of course , only in my experience . read more

I have been to this establishment before with simple battery changes to my g-shocks. No issues whatsoever. Customer service was exceptional so I decided to trust them with my TAG Heuer. Little did I know I was in for a surprise. I was told it would take a hour and I would receive a call. Never received a call. No big deal. Came in to pick up my time piece. Everything was working fine but upon coming home I noticed this deep scratch on the back case of the watch. Pretty evident to say the lease. Amazing how no one came to notice this. You can judge by the pics posted with the review. I called in and they told me to come back. They brought it to the back and admitted to the scratch (which was admirable). I was given the excuse of "I'm sorry. It happens. It was really tight." They offered to polish it and I initially agreed but I couldn't come to grips of leaving this sentimental object in the hands of an establishment that damaged it in the first place due to a battery change. I couldn't trust them with a detailed project of polishing where the serial number is placed as well as the signature textured backing of this particular formula 1. Frank, the customer service representative that helped me, was patient and represents this company well. The repair service on the other hand? Be weary. You've been warned. So I'll tell you what they've told me, "It happens." Just pray you're not the unfortunate individual "it happens" to. read more

Located at the north end of Park avenue, with a lovely selection of high end (as well as classic and collectible) watches. Orlando Watch Co also is fully staffed with a team of watchmakers that are certified in every type of watchmaking and repairs. My Tag Heuer stopped working, thinking nothing of it, I had taken it elsewhere to have the battery replaced. They replaced the battery and when the watch didn't work, I was told it was probably the movement...so I took it over to Orlando Watch Co. The friendly owner and staff asked if I wanted to wait while they evaluated. Happily, it was just the battery needing replacement and corrosion, the movement was fine. They replaced the battery and steam cleaned, my watch was back to working order in no time at all. I usually take my watches in here for battery replacements, but had popped into a place closer to work for convenience. Silly me, won't be happening again and I should have known better then to go elsewhere! read more

I've been looking for an authorized high end dealer that I could bring my watches in to be serviced and this place will be it. Brought two Michele watches in today for battery replacements. It was done in 30 minutes and cost $31. Alittle pricey but you get what you pay for, right? They also said that they could polish my automatic watch for $175 and replace the small scratch on my Michele for $75. I love that its family owned. Will be back soon! read more

I brought my watch for a battery change because this store is "certified" by the manufacturer for that watch, which has a sophisticated movement. I left the watch overnight. When the watch was handed back to me, none of the functions worked. I told the owner that it wasn't working right and it worked fine before I brought it in, and he rudely retorted "Then Why'd you bring it in, then?" When I calmly explained I was getting a low battery warning and I'd like to replace it professionally due to the complexity of the watch, he starting going on about all the settings I need to do from the manual to make it work again. He's right, I did need to follow the instructions, but I would think an "expert" watchmaker could have gone the extra 5 seconds to do this for me. 3 of the functions of the watch still don't work, but they worked perfectly fine when I dropped it off. I don't trust them to fix it, this watch has significant sentimental value. Use at your own risk. read more

Brought my Seiko MM 300 in to be regulated, 8l35 movement capable of High accuracy, got it back, no better, brought it back in.. again no better, so out of pure frustration I opened it and regulated the movement myself,.. about+1 seconds per day for six months now..so much for experts, had them do a Polish on one side of the case.. took way to much material off and for all of this "service" they had the nerve to charge $300+ what a joke, never again. read more

Mixed feelings about my experience here. Took a watch in for repair. Said it would take two weeks to order part. They gave me a repair slip and I left my watch in their care. Two weeks later, no word so I called and left a message. A few hours later I got a call saying it was ready. When I went to pick it up the repair was done however the part was different than my original part. The watch looked different. I asked and the owner said "they were not able to get the same one and it took longer, they made several phone calls about it with the manufacturer", etc. ( it would have been appropriate to call me and let me know. That way I would not have been surprised when I came to pick it up and noticed the change) I understand that these things happen and would have been appreciative of their efforts to find the exact same part. However, I'm assuming they thought I just wouldn't notice. It just made me hesitant to return here for any future service on any of my high end watches. read more

As a watch enthusiast, I feel it is important to get my mechanical watches serviced regularly to avoid costly repairs that result from poor maintenance. Scott at Orlando Watch Company is probably the only person I trust with my watches. This shop has serviced my Patek Phillipe, Audemars Piguet, IWC, Breitling, and Rolex watches for as long as I can remember. Scott is factory trained and authorized to work on a large variety of higher-end watches. His knowledge and passion for his profession will give you confidence in his abilities. His overall professionalism will give you the confidence you need to hand over an expensive watch. Scott is a master watchmaker, not just a repair guy. He understands that this is not "just another watch" you're handing over, but that this may be your most prized possession, and he treats you and your watch accordingly. There were a few times I thought I may have to leave a watch for months to have a part made in Switzerland and Scott made it himself in a few days. This is a VERY important service, as there are fewer and fewer master craftsmen qualified to service fine watches. This store also has a great selection of both new and pre-owned watches. I like pre-owned watches because when you are buying, say, a Patek, you are purchasing something that will in all liklihood still be around 500 years from now, so why pay retail. But, when buying pre-owned, you should be willing to pay a bit extra for knowledge on the part of the individual selling the watch to you. Also, when buying a pre-owned watch, it is extremely important, to me, to know that the guy selling it to me can fix it if something goes wrong. I don't know how their prices compare to other shops, but regarding fine watches, the last thing you would want to do is shop price. The LAST thing I'm going to do is hand one of my precious (to me) timepieces to the lowest bidder. You get what you pay for, and you have to trust the person to whom you're handing your watch, and I trust Orlando watch company 100%. read more

Boo hoo! I had the misfortune of having a "submersible" Panerai not being so submersible while on vacation. Water infiltration, rust, the whole nine yards. Bad. Being that I am from out of state, I couldn't send it to my guys in Chicago. I saw the reviews for Orlando Watch Co. on Yelp and took the drive. Best watch shop in Orlando! I had my watch serviced here two years ago and they did a wonderful job. I feel more comfortable dropping it off at a local shop than mailing it to a service center. Recently the automatic function was not working 100% so I dropped it off earlier this week so they could look at it. The staff was professional and attentive and the watch maker even came out of the back to help me because there were a few other customers in the shop already being helped by the other staff. My grandfather's watch fell all of two feet onto the ground...which was just enough of an impact to break a crucial part so that the watch was completely useless. There was no brand or logo anywhere on the watch, I wasn't even sure how old it was, but within 5 seconds of seeing it, they were able to tell me the brand, the age range, and what was wrong with it. I instantly felt like I had taken it to the right place. A few weeks later, I just got it back in perfect condition: cleaned, serviced, the whole nine-yards, and for less money than I was expecting to boot. It feels like a brand new watch. I actually was interested in purchasing a watch there while showing my car at the car show until I asked one of the gentleman working there if they could service my watch, he told me in front of many people no you have to send the Taiwan watches to the factory for service! I asked a sales girl if there were any specials and she said no. Well my watch is swiss made, and I had a 20% coupon in my Patrons package from the car show! They made me fell like a second class citizen, much like the mercedes dealership did when I pulled up in my work truck! Amazing when I pulled in a few weeks later in my Porsche GT-3 how quickly they wanted to help me! Moral: never judge a book by it's cover!
