One word of advice that if you decide to stay outside to watch and learn and look into the tank to see the before and after you will feel nausuous. Right on time Saturday morning we have two Rooter Tech, plumbers here and ready to go. After explaining the scrub head sucking, toilet situation and for asking to add a tank rebuild to the estimate/project, they got to work. It didn't take too long before they came back with a price that was fair, to do the work. Rooter Tech, was the third plumbing contractor we got an estimate from and it was worth it to hold out for the right people. Everything about this project was efficient, stress free and I'm throughly satisfied. The toilet is working great, no complaints!

An AI voice answered the phone, asked me why I was calling, told me it was going to look up my account details, said it had a problem and that someone would contact me to follow up, and then hung up on me. A few hours later I got a text from "Cameron". I complained to "Cameron" about the experience I had from the AI phone answerer. "Cameron" apologize and told me that such an experience would frustrate him too...then "Cameron" decided to be transparent with me and tell me that he was in fact AI as well and "his" real name was "Carson". We went back and forth about 6 times to explain the problem I was having and to set up an appointment. Then "Cameron" told me that the time we worked out wasn't confirmed yet and that someone would be calling me to confirm the time. Thanks, "Cameron". This was Friday around 4:00PM. THE NEXT MORNING, a human being (I think) texted me from the same number to confirm the appointment. After I let them know how unhappy I was with the AI scheduling service, a human (I think) did call me and apologized for it. Then, on the day of the appointment, the technician arrived an hour and a half after the 12:00-16:00 window we had set up. I had to call them at 16:30 to ask if the technician was coming and they told me he would be there soon. When he did arrive, in the middle of me making dinner for my family, he told me that the faucet would need to be replaced and that it would be $750 (!!) in labor to fix it. Then I was charged $83 for his time (which I guess would be rolled into the service). So, in the end I still had a leaky faucet and I was out $83 with the option to pay $670 to replace a faucet (plus the cost of the faucet itself). For that price, I'm just going to do it myself. Then the spam texts started coming from "Cameron" asking about the estimate. I got one every day until I told it to stop texting me. This company used to be great but I'm going to be looking around the next time I need a plumber. Please ditch this stupid AI system. Please don't charge your customers if you're extremely late for your own four hour window - especially if the diagnosis takes five minutes and is "I can't fix it - replace the faucet".

A call from each team member letting us know that they were on their way and what time they would arrive. All work was completed in a timely manner. The schedule went as planned. They were clean and very considerate of our home. I am actually surprised at how professional the company treated us from start to finish. I highly recommend them. Now, I want to provide a fair review so please consider the points below: I called Jarel and let him know. He responded very quickly and offered to come out the following week to evaluate. At this point I decided to reach out to another contractor (and because I had an active leak that couldn't wait). The trouble with this toilet is that we do have a very slight slope on that floor, so I cannot fault Jarel 100%, and I do feel he would genuinely try to fix the issue, but in the end I do think the toilet should have been properly leveled in the beginning (or even second time around) to avoid this, and is ending up costing us extra (time, money, and stress) to correct. I hope that this review does not paint the business in a bad light, I'm sure Jeral is a competent plumber (our other 2 toilets work just fine), and he was nice and apologetic about this experience, but I hope this review provides an opportunity for reflection and improved service for future customers. -------------------------------------------------- 6 month update. The upstairs toilets are working no problem. The downstairs one started moving a little bit with pressure. I reached out to Jarel and he responded right away, was out in a couple of days and took the toilet off and we found that the outer ring of the flange broke at the bolt. He bought a repair ring and installed everything back within a week. Everything is working again and he didn't charge me a dime (I offered, he didn't take it). Donny was extremely thorough in identifying the issue and diagnosed that the unit I had was not the right size for my home. In addition the piping was inefficient and not up to code. They offered to refund the prior install, designed a sleek solution with a new combi boiler and somehow managed to make everything fit perfectly into the very small mechanical room in my home. This was a complicated install made even more challenging by the small space, but Donny's workmanship and problem-solving was excellent. They were able to accommodate my schedule, finished on time and were collaborative with me throughout the process and helped me land on a solution and price that I was satisfied with. My home has never been this comfortably heated in the winter before while not compromising on hot water in the bathroom and kitchen.
