The first decent day the crew was here and got the first half completely done, including adding a base of plywood which was needed due to the poor quality of the old roof. We were the first roof of the season and were very pleased with the crew that came. They removed two layers of shingles, and installed a quality Owen Corning system including the ridge vents and clean up work all the same day. When they left you could not even tell they were here except for a few marks where the ground was soft which no one could of avoided. They have the greatest lady on clean up that removed every last little piece of debris. Another really impressive way they do business was they did not even require any deposit! I found this very unusual on a construction project not to at least require something for the material purchase, but payment at once in full after satisfaction seems to be their forte. I have worked part of my life in machine shops, doing quality control with tolerances in the microns and also have built 4 homes myself with the exception of HVAC and masonry. I would of done this roof myself but my knees and age did not let me. Really am glad I found R E Kuba and I have already left several other friends know who to go for when they need a job done.

Needless to say our car tires were in danger! When asked about this they replied that's what happens when a roof is replaced!! My neighbor physically picked up twenty two nails in the parking lot! A few months after the roof was finished I noticed three different areas of my condo had water marks on the ceilings . I contacted the condo association whom sent a handy man over to inspect the situation. He assured me that there was an issue with the roof replacement. We then contacted Klausmair to report the damages. Two young men showed up at my condo only to deny any wrongdoing! They were extremely disrespectful to me as a woman let a lone a home owner. The men told me if the wind blows the wrong way I would get water in the condo!! I'm almost positive that the wind will continue to blow and I find it hard to believe that the wind only blew on my condo since I'm connected to five other condos that had not gotten water on their ceilings! Low and behold after denying my claim to fix my water stains. They returned at a later date to replace/install the roof boot which was not installed at the time of the roof replacement! Just about two weeks ago now a shingle blew off the roof not sure what will happen with that problem!! He is a fraud. asked for payments in increments when work wasn't finished & brought dog knowing we had our own dogs and only asked us if the dog could stay once the dog was already here (being animal lovers & feeling sorry for the poor dog we felt we had no other choice but to agree, he had that dog tied to his truck eight hours a day the entire week in our hot driveway) He lied and said I threatened him with a gun when in fact what happened was he showed up without telling us he was coming and my husband was not home. Next thing I hear my dogs going nuts& they take a ladder and go up on my roof... Don't even knock and tell me that they're here. I was alone and we live up a long driveway on top of the hill...My dogs were outside (a GSD and a Belgian Mal guard dogs) and he scared the crap out of me and the only thing I said was that he should not do that because I carry. I'm alone in my house. My husband is not home. They show up in my driveway where I'm far away from neighbors. My dogs are going crazy. If my dogs had attacked them, they probably would've tried to sue me. I was already ticked off because the guy was so rude to my husband. You should see the text this guy sent my husband and yes, I have it if anyone wants to see it... so by the time they showed up like this without telling me I was so angry and I would've been well within my right to get them off my property. Husband is an army veteran and a retired, disabled police officer and so yes, we have weapons and people showing up in my driveway when my Husband is not home is a pretty dangerous thing to do)...his friend said, "like as in a gun?" and I said yes, I carry a gun and they turned it around and said that I threatened him with my "smith n Wesson" which never happened the gun was actually in my house. I never even took it out with me when I confronted them in my driveway. I just told them that you don't show up at people's houses when the people carry any he totally lied and flipped the whole scenario (I have security cameras, which is clearly indicated on a sign in my driveway and so I have the entire incident on camera) He did not do the job properly, won't finish the job, said he wouldn't charge us for the rest of what we supposedly owed him (wanted 12 K for the entire job but used used materials and did not replace any insulation on our flat roof. Gave him 6K upfront then he asked for another 2K and then another 2K before any work had been completed and now wants another 2k to finish his mess of a joband then turned around and said that now we have to pay him if we want him to come finish, won't give us his insurance information and offers a roofers warranty, but doesn't have anything in writing concerning the warranty & the list goes oN. awful just an awful experience and an awful person.
