I called Mixon's to see if they could come in the morning. Tim said they would be there. I got a call at 8:30 the next morning and they were there within a half hour. They finished the work and called PPL. They followed up with the township to have an inspection done. This is a great business. They do great work and explain what they are doing. I strongly recommend them.

One star / low rating for the unprofessional and rude behavior and lack of professional response…read morewith the plumber I talked to several weeks ago - I never got any service due to the issue of the individual I had phone calls with on three separate days over the course of about a week. The phone calls ending with their representative hanging the phone up on me after being strangely rude and aggressive. In defense of the company, I never got a chance to have the services of the company reviewed due to the terrible interactions I had with the plumber over the phone. My landlord gave me their number since years ago they did some work on the house I'm in, and I called to set up someone to come out and help with a couple problems at the house. First conversation with the man who answered, I felt the plumber was quite, oddly rude throughout the call and he eventually tried grill me for giving him numbers of dates instead of days of the week? I kind of laughed it off a bit and assumed perhaps the individual was having a rough day or was busy around the holidays for benefit of the doubt. He tells me to essentially call him to come out to my house the morning of the date we planned on. When I did call him the next week on the morning we planned on, he had seemingly completely forgotten the conversation we had last week or never wrote anything down because he needed all of my information again, as well as had to ask me about the problems in my home all over again even after stating he remembered me eventually. The plumber then stated he wasn't sure if he would have time to come to my home on that date we planned on, again that is frustrating but it was around the busy holidays so I tried to be flexible. He told me he would call me by the end of the day to let me know if he was coming out that day or if he had to wait and come out two days later. I made sure to specifically clarify if he was going to call me back today regardless of what was going on (because I do this typically with anyone), and he stated that he surely would call me back, as that is what he always does. Then later that evening I had no phone call and had to assume he was not coming out and going to come out two days later. It's frustrating because I had called off work extra for this occasion but I know some things can't be helped. Finally, after two more days, I call the plumber that morning to ask if he is coming out to my home on this day and why he did not call me back two days prior to let me know what was going on. This must have upset him to be called out on the phone call because without any further discussion or answering my questions he simply yelled and said I could call another company then and hung up the phone without giving me a chance to respond. So there was a whole week of my time wasted, and my problems remaining in my house for a week. I almost would have rather him act like a psycho on the first phone call so I could have just called someone else sooner. Again, I can only hope this is a single occasion of the way this plumber treated someone over the phone even - but I would not want someone like that in my home in the first place and felt the need to tell others about my experience. I hope someone finds this helpful to look elsewhere or hopefully there's more than one guy working there and I was just one of the unlucky customers.

Received our quote next day with recommendation. Going to try trench-less repair and worse case scenario. Had to wait till Monday for local/state to come and mark the property for digging protocol. Tuesday they were here early AM. Found kinks in line, can't run the trench-less. Worse case scenario. By the afternoon, water back on. The digging only left a small imprint on the lawn. Received our bill a few days later. Under budgeted quote. (Slightly). But under quote after worse case scenario = Priceless. Great job and Thsn you! We will consider Ober's Plumbing for all our future needs.

As you can imagine it was a mess with sewage on the floor and seeping into our neighbor's house, not to mention expensive. Pray to the plumbing Gods that this never happens to you! Many years ago I worked for a plumbing company so I knew right off the bat this would be thousands to repair. With my go to (Ranck's Plumbing) no longer in business I had no choice but to seek a new plumber, one that had a sewer camera, and could come right away. An online search of plumbers with cameras yielded very few results in my area. I called a few and left messages. Ober's was a company I found on Yelp for having good & honest reviews and they were local which was a huge plus. I took a chance on them having a camera and was thankful that they did. Jerry, the owner was awesome! He even came to my house for a free consult to make sure he could run the camera before he sent his crew over - that was much appreciated! My house is almost 100 years old so there was some fear of the unknown. At the free consult he spent a considerable amount of time exploring possible scenarios and discussing options. Jerry is very hands on and explains things in a way you can understand without judgement. Once he determined the camera could be ran I provided the key and returned to work. Jerry and his crew did the rest. Within hours I had a verbal quote. Was it expensive? Yes, spending a few thousand for something you can't see is alot of money, but sewer is a necessity. Although I don't have anything to compare it to other than my experience in this field many years ago I do feel his price was fair and most likely considerably less than what larger firms would charge for the same scale of work. I especially liked that Jerry understood that I wanted the least invasive option available and was sensitive to my request not rip out my newer kitchen to gain access. To save money hubby did some of the demo with Jerry's instruction. Since we're talking about a considerable amount of money I didn't feel comfortable with a verbal quote alone. However once I requested one in writing Jerry provided one the next day in great detail. The work took a few days to complete, and a few days till they could start due to some issues with our insurance adjuster. During that time-period Jerry was always accessible, answered all of our questions, and took our many phone calls without issue or attitude. Once the insurance adjuster was out of the way he was prompt to get us on the schedule so we could have use of our facilities again. The work was completed as promised and my house was left in satisfactory condition. While they did comply with my request to lock up daily, a light was left on the first day. So why 4 stars instead of 5? I always feel a little uncomfortable asking for something that I feel should be standard (in this case a written quote). They do things old school so they couldn't email the quote but were able to fax it. The price of running the camera is expensive and it's standard procedure to record the process to show the homeowner exactly what the problem is. While they do have the camera they don't use the video and didn't relay this to me until I asked. While I'm so thankful for Jerry and his team and to have this experience in my rear view window I would/will use Ober's again and would happily recommend him to anyone seeking an honest, fair, local, knowledge plumber.

Last time they were here was on a Holiday Weekend when a drain pipe from my upstairs bathroom sprung a leak.
