I've been working with Coach James Jordan -- JJ -- for about six months now. My main reason for…read morereaching out was pretty simple: I wanted to enjoy golf again. My swing had gotten flat and inconsistent, and as I've gotten older, it was becoming less sustainable and was even starting to cause some pain. JJ and I started with a half-day workshop focused on the fundamentals. Instead of trying to force me into a generic swing, he helped me understand how my swing should work for my body and built a baseline from there. I won't lie -- it's been a process. Some of the changes were dramatically different from what I had done for years, and I didn't grasp everything immediately. But I stuck with it, continued working with JJ through online lessons, and put in the practice on my own. Now I'm starting to see the payoff. My swing is becoming much more consistent, my body feels better, my scores are starting to come back down, and most importantly, I'm enjoying the game again. If you want a coach who is real with you and will tell you exactly what you need to work on to improve, JJ is your guy. His approach is biomechanically sound and tailored to the swing you have today -- not some one-size-fits-all model. Trust the process, put in the work, and you'll see results. I can also make this a little more casual and punchy for a Google review if that's where you plan to post it.

JJ is easily the best golf lesson I have ever received. I have got numerous golf lessons before and…read moreevery time what I have worked on has only been temporary fixes and hasn't really stuck. JJ has already helped my game after just two hours working together immensely. He not only has taught me how to make the right adjustments to my swing but is the first golf coach I have worked with that taught me how to properly practice and work on my game. He is extremely engaged with helping new students get up to speed and will jump on the phone with you or text you back to answer any questions you have as well as discuss practice. We have discussed realistic goals for my game and I already see myself making strides towards them.

I've worked with a number of club fitters and builders over the years, and finding Jay completely…read morechanged my perspective on what a fitting should be. What sets Jay apart isn't just his knowledge of golf equipment--although he can talk clubs, shafts, and ball flight for hours. It's his integrity. At no point did I ever feel like I was being pushed into a certain club because of a commission, manufacturer relationship, or sales incentive. His only goal is to find what actually works best for your swing. I've paid significantly more for fittings elsewhere, and I've had clubs built for more than double what Jay charges. Despite that, none of those experiences came close to the value, attention to detail, and results I've received working with him. Once I found Jay, it felt like unlocking a toolbox I never knew I had. The equipment finally matched what I was trying to do, and the confidence that came with that carried over to every part of my game. In the span of a single year, I went from a 15 handicap to a 4 handicap and am now working toward scratch golf. If you're looking for someone who is honest, knowledgeable, passionate about the game, and genuinely invested in helping golfers improve, I can't recommend Jay highly enough. Jay has built every single club in my bag and found mistakes other Club Petters said were built "" to spec this is a hidden gem and I wish more people know about him.

Alison is hands down the best golf instructor I've worked with and her accolades are well deserved…read more She takes a very personal and customized approach when working with you to determine not only what your goals are, but the best method of achieving them. Early on she explains that there is no one way to swing that works for everyone, and based on your body and quirks she helps construct a method of learning to reach your results in a very short amount of time. She also takes the time to explain how and why the changes are going to help which I personally enjoy as I have learned more about the physics of golf from her than any previous instructor. There is also the mental aspect that she takes the time to work with you on. Why are you doing something a certain way? What are you thinking about when you are doing your pre-shot routine (don't have one of those? Don't worry. She'll work with you to construct one that works for you.) Personally she's added 15 yards to my irons, helped me dial in a 40 and 60 yard chip that I now look forward to hitting, and gotten my driver going straight as an arrow. I plan on continuing to work with her to improve my game even more and add more shots to my arsenal. I cannot recommend her enough and am almost certain after taking a lesson with her you'll be scheduling the next one as soon as it is over. Do yourself a favor and book her right now if you have any interest in getting better at golf.
