I just had my first session with Ty and I can't say enough good things about it and him. The first…read moregreat thing was Ty sat down with me and we discussed my health and massage-needs. I expressed some concerns regarding my physical condition and when he began his work he was able to take everything into account and tailor his technique and strength to match where I was and what I needed. His massage studio is comfortable and his hospitality was completely professional. Afterwards, I felt SO much better that I litterally went and ran in circles in the parking lot just because I felt like running! I felt like a new and improved person. I would completely recommend Ty to anyone needing serious physical body work done, or anyone needing a great stress relieving massage. I'm very much looking forward to my next session and I'm hoping I can give my girlfriend a gift certificate for his work as well.

My girlfriend paid for my first session as a birthday present because I was always complaining to her about my chronic shoulder pain. My initial request was for a deep tissue massage thinking that would help me but Hector noticed a more sports centered approach was what I really needed and that my back pain was largely being caused by overworked chest muscles. I feel amazing both mentally and physically. Great place, great vibes, easy to book, very knowledgable, recommend to everyone. You gotta go.

Tip well my friends, he really deserves more!! I requested a mix of Swedish and deep tissue to target my problem back/neck area, but he also did full body. It was as though his hands could read every complaint that my muscles had! His studio and home is lovely, tranquil and very well appointed. Stephen was very personable, professional and you can tell that he puts all his concentration on the massage process. I'm hooked and will surely come back again!!

It's that ***there may be some version of that experience*** which just blows the doors off the competition. Well, Stephen Fountain is that for massages. You are literally in the hands of a virtuoso bodywork specialist. His hands felt like a natural extension of my own skin -- that's how transporting and close to oneness this experience was. Expert working of knotted and tight and neglected muscles. Please check out his Web site for even more testimonials and from people who have had a few massages in their day. The entire experience was so wonderful -- charming, comfortable little cottage, decorated just perfectly, pitch-perfect music, lovely scent in the air and Stephen himself, he of the virtuoso hands and delightful demeanor. My experience was so terrific that I would almost offer a money-back guarantee for which I would be the guarantor -- were the logistics of such a thing not confusing :) Please, if you are in the Santa Barbara area and really want a terrific massage from someone who has been giving them for 30 years -- and who is absolutely living his calling -- treat yourself and give Stephen a call. I did and -- though I am notoriously stingy -- I am considering making this a weekly thing, it was that wonderful. Finally, I had never received a professional massage from a man before and so wasn't even sure whether that was done. Seeing some testimonials from women on his website, I decided to go with it and felt perfectly comfortable the entire time.

Some women have mentioned that he was unprofessional about draping the blanket or exposing certain private parts. As far as the massage pressure I told him I can tolerate firm pressure, so if you get a massage and feel that the masseuse is pressing too hard, common sense, tell them as they're doing it. All and all, outstanding massage from Jesse. I would highly recommend

Professional, excellent service and very relaxing - will absolutely be coming back for more cupping…read moretreatments in the future! Not many massage parlors in the area offer cupping, and I love the sensation that it brings. I called ahead to check availability for 2 people, even though walk-ins are available, since it was later in the evening ~8:30; and they readily had space for both my partner and I. I did a 30 min cupping session, and he did a body massage in a separate room. The rooms were very clean with ambient music, a chair and coat rack for personal items, and all the products were clearly labeled. My therapist did a great job warming up my back body with oil and a massage before applying the cups; and while the cups were attached, they also massaged my feet helping with the circulation. It was not uncomfortable at all, and I could feel the suction working instantly. I definitely needed this experience because even my therapist seemed a bit shocked at how dark the cupping marks were after they were removed. I recommend showering BEFORE getting this type of treatment, since showering is not recommended till 4-6 hours after cupping as it can irritate the skin and disrupt the healing process. My partner loved the body massage, especially the hot stone treatment, which is included in the service. All of the staff were very friendly and hospitable, bringing us water and offering snacks post treatment, and no loitering around after since their tip is included in the price. $60 for a 30 min treatment was definitely worth it - next time around, I want to try the full body massage with infrared sauna add-on.
