I dont go vegetarian often, but this place is a must try. A must try for vegetarian lover!…read more We only got a few items, but everything was delicious! The chicken nuggets were fantastic. I could munch on it all day lol Fresh steamed broccoli was good. I didn't think I would enjoy eating steamed brocs with just soy sauce. A little softer would be nice, but still good. The veg fish was an all time favorite. When I do happen to go to a vegetarian restaurant, I would order it (if available). We all loved the sauce in the fish. Even if you don't like the fish, mixing the sauce with rice would be good. Corn soup was a nice start. The corns could be a bit better, but would order it again. The almond pastry was yummy. We all liked the pastry on top more than the almond milk. It was a bit plain. Will definitely return when craving veg foods.

Ideal for bigger groups. There were only 3 of us but we ended up at a large table as that was the only table available. We got the crispy chicken with basil, fish with brown sauce and sizzling tofu. I enjoyed the tofu the best then the crispy chicken. The fish I think had five spice seasoning and seaweed (nori) to give it that fish flavor. I enjoyed the sauce on the fish but the flavor of the fish itself was just ok to me. The service was friendly and the food came out fast. Would go back again to try some of their other dishes.

A friend was visiting from out of state and is vegetarian, I have heard of this place from family,…read morebut was excited to try their dishes. We came with a group on a saturday and they were able to seat us immediately - plenty of parking in the large plaza where the Hat and Shiki Buffet is (previously hometown buffet location). All of the items on the menu were intriguing, but I was eyeballin' the salt and pepper one and the fried tofu. My buddy got the lemongrass "chicken" and also the curry with bread. Since we were eager to try the different types of food, we did a family style and that was the best decision. We also got eggplant, and the rice cake/egg. I thought the rice cake looked underwhelming, but our entire group had a consensus and voted that as the top fave of the night. Everything was super tasty and we left happy and full and with leftovers! Super excited to return and to recommend to others. I look forward to come back to try some of the other items such as the "beef" noodle soup or the bun rieu or pho! I also appreciate that some of the dishes came with rice included -we actually ended up with too much rice, but perfect for leftovers the next day. Upon checking out, there was delicious thing by the cash register that was green and resembled a bundt cake in slices. It was labled mochi pandan, and it was AMAZING. so spongy, so delicious and a little sweet. Perfect end of the night that my buddy got one to go right after. It was made fresh and you can tell by how soft it was. I appreciate that this restaurant has vegetarian versions of common vietnamese and chinese dishes. They all were delicious and unique and did not feel too oily or heavy. They look and taste like meat and also the sauces were 100% on point. Thank you Happy Buddha!!

We enjoyed all of them. I was especially happy they had a non-dairy milk for Thai tea - and it was yummy! They served us a surprise dessert of a sweet mung bean soup like dish - that was a nice treat and unexpected.

We ordered the spicy eggplant, fried mushroom in sweet and sour sauce, house special tofu and orange veggie chicken. Everything was good but we all agreed that the orange veggie chicken and the mushroom sweet and sour were our favorites. Both dishes had the right amount of sweetness and were balanced in its seasoning. The spicy eggplant wasn't spicy at all since they default to making it mild unless you say otherwise. The tofu dish was more like braised tofu in brown sauce but it didn't have any distinctive character. I think next time we will have to try a different tofu dish. The restaurant itself has more of a casual feel. It's not terribly huge so I can see how busy it could get on more popular celebratory days. For us at around 5:30 on a Saturday evening it was not too crowded. The service was very friendly and quick. They were very attentive to our needs and even boxed our left over for us. Free parking is available in the parking structure for the shopping plaza.

The drumsticks were the main item I visited for and they were good; however, they were on dowels vs. sugar cane... just a different vibe, not a deal breaker. Two issues with my visit here: 1. asked for a sweet chili sauce, but it has no chili in it, just a sugary sauce AND when I got my bill I was charged extra for the sauce but no mention of this when I ordered it. I have no issue paying for extra sauces 1. If the sauce is worth a hoot and 2. Awareness that I'm paying for it. Prices are a little high for the quality of food. The parking lot is a little undersized for the amount of businesses in the little strip mall area. One MAJOR complaint and issue 2. They claim the restroom is out of order (which I saw on previous reviewers posts, which was over 1 month ago)... idk how a business can operate without a restroom for customers. I get emergency situations, but how have they gone this long without a working restroom for customers? To make this situation even worse, it doesn't appear they have any neighboring businesses to partner with on this issue because if you need the restroom they tell you to go across the street to Trader Joe's. Next time I'm in the area, I'll just grab something from TJ's to eat and not worry about dining at My Vegan.

The chicken stays crispy for a long time and reheats nicely as leftovers. Everything we've ordered is really good and crave-worthy. We got the lucky catsu, curry catsu, crispy shrimp, spam masubi, catsu masubi, orange chicken, crispy chicken. Top two favorites are lucky and curry catsu. Small things I'd personally wish to change is that the onion is too strong in the macaroni salad. Wish it wasn't in there period. And the rice is a little on the dryer side and it sticks to the container- so when you scrape up the last bits of rice, you could be eating the paper from the container. I like that they use compostable containers though!! But yeah the rice is on the harder side especially as leftovers. But whatever, their main items are bomb and makes me not care about anything else. Service is quick! Note: it is not a sit down restaurant. You order (ahead) and park on the street and call them to let them know you're outside. They'll bring the food out. Reception isn't great outside fyi. I've been here 3 times and never last long enough to get a photo before digging in. There are two other vegan restaurants right next to it, same concept - order and pick up. Loaded Island Fried Chicken Fries was really good and they put sauces on the side. Never disappointed with the Mac box. Hibachi spam and egg fried rice was expectedly salty which we loved. Asian fire wings was pleasantly tasty; glad it didn't set my mouth on fire. Chow mein was okay. When you carry it to your car, just be careful as sometimes the sauces are tilted and the lids might pop off and leak a bit. We order ahead so we can pick up and go. You can add utensils to the order. If you're extremely hungry and want to eat right away, there is a convenient park across the street but be on the look out for homeless.

The standout dish for me was the vegetarian Bún Bò Huế, and honestly this is where they won me over. The broth was deeply flavorful, rich, and aromatic with that signature Huế spice and lemongrass heat. It had real depth and complexity, not a watered-down substitute version. The plant-based proteins had great texture and absorbed the flavors beautifully, to the point where I never felt like anything was missing. This wasn't "good vegetarian food." This was just excellent Vietnamese food, period. Everything tasted fresh, portions were generous, and the balance of spice, savory, and brightness was spot on. Even as someone who regularly eats traditional Bún Bò Huế, I was genuinely impressed by how satisfying and comforting this version was. Service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere made it an easy place to relax and enjoy the meal. If you're vegetarian, Thien Tam is a must-visit. If you're an omnivore who thinks vegetarian food won't hit the same, I assure you the food here will make you rethink that assumption.

I usually only order pho when I go to viet places so I wanted to expand my tastebuds and try other things. We came around 9:30 AM on Saturday morning and they open at 8 AM. Parking wasn't an issue as they have a decent-sized lot. We were greeted by friendly waiters and ordered the following items: 1. Bun Hue: 6/10 Standard noodles with veggie meats. Nothing too surprising but this was one of their more popular items according to Yelp. I appreciated the amount of veggies. 2. Banh Xeo: 7/10 This was really interesting! I didn't expect the dish to look like that but I enjoyed eating the rice noodle patties. They were delicious and the veggies were all charred well. The "gravy" was a bit weird but I used it as a sauce for the patties. 3. Pho Ap Chao: 7/10 Never had a vegan omelette before so this was a first! Lots of bean sprouts and daikon (?) radish inside. The exterior was crispy and tasted like curry? Very filling dish and they also provide lettuce/fish sauce that we eat it together with. Overall, it was a good place to try and I appreciated how they let us sit for almost 3 hours since there weren't any other customers until 11ish. Felt very healthy afterwards since it was all veggies and price wise, it's decent.

I am genuinely thrilled to have such an upscale, quiet, and relaxing restaurant right here in my neighborhood. You can truly taste the chef's passion and dedication in every dish. Every time I bring friends here, they are absolutely amazed and delighted by the flavors. We ordered quite a few dishes today. The highlight was the Chilean Sea Bass. The chef served a massive, beautifully thick cut--which is actually the hardest to execute. If overcooked even slightly, Chilean Sea Bass becomes dry and tough. But the timing here was absolutely perfect. It had a gorgeous, golden-brown exterior, while the inside remained incredibly moist, tender, and delightfully springy. The seasoning was spot-on and never overpowering; it wasn't too salty, perfectly preserving the natural, fresh flavors of the sea. We also had the Chicken Bowtie Pasta. I typically avoid chicken dishes at restaurants because they often turn out dry and lack the rich aroma you get from beef or lamb. However, Sage's chef elevates chicken to another level. Rather than using the traditional Cantonese technique of quickly flash-frying in oil (which yields a smooth texture but sacrifices the natural meat aroma), the chef here expertly pan-sears the chicken over extremely high heat for a short time. This creates a deliciously crisp exterior that locks in all the juices and rich flavor. Tossed with perfectly cooked bowtie pasta and cheese, the result is so flavorful and well-balanced that we simply couldn't stop eating! Another great thing about Sage is their incredibly generous portion sizes--we left completely satisfied! We finished our meal with a great cup of coffee and the chef's handmade Tiramisu, drawing a perfect, sweet close to our evening. Highly recommend!
