    a roast beef sandwich

The sandwiches at Mignosa weren't bad at all. I can definitely have more of these in the future. I was able to order different halves of sandwiches. One was Italian and the other pastrami. The way the meat is laid on the bread makes it a little difficult to eat and tuck in but that is mainly because you're given tons of meat, which I won't complain about. You have the option of getting your sandwich made on different types of bread they have available but I'd go with their subs as they are made in house and tend to be fresh. Went recently and noticed that a line starts to build as soon 12pm rolls around so get there early if you're in a rush to get somewhere else.

It was my first time ordering (: I was pretty indecisive! I decided to go with the asian chicken wrap. It's a good portion size, and the man asking for my order was polite! The wrap is pretty tasty! The chicken is savory with the sauce and veggies as well. Totally recommend!

Had two good sandwich choices that were winning. A very good Reuben with a load of meat. Large-sized and very filling. I would have added a wee bit more Kraut, but it was quite flavorful. It was a filling meal. My friend had a grilled cheese and tomato: lots of cheese; filling; would have liked a bit more greasy crispness! Service was fast, efficient, and very pleasant. We'll be back!

Best sandwich shop in Quincy! Wonderful selection of rolls, buns and bread. Standard sandwiches, or design your own. This place certainly gets it right. Fresh ingredients and quality meats. Lots of great candy, chips and drinks. Soup bar. Salad bar. Wonderful sides and potato and macaroni salads. Anything you buy here, you will be very satisfied. Wonderful staff, friendly and they get to know you. Italian sub costs $7.49... too much meat! Good problem to have. Highest recommendation.

Don't you hate it when you're trying to find something and it's right under you nose. How have I never been to Mignosa's Fruit Basket in Quincy. It's exactly the type of place I love. Mom and Pop store. Check. Billion ingredients for the salad bar. Check. Homemade soups. Check. Italian pastries. Check. Not to mention the 2 pound sandwiches they're frisbieing out of there. I got an amazing salad that I wolfed down faster than it took me to make. This place is definitely making it's way into my rotation. I can't wait to suprise my baby boy ( that's starting his freshman year at Southern New Hampshire University ) with his favorite Italian cookies. If they make it home.

It seemed silly to buy a whole quart of firewood at the end of the season, so we've been going to the grocery store. The wood is sub par, wrapped in environmentally unfriendly plastic and pops A LOT! So when we were driving past this place in Milton, we gave it a shot. They are lovely and will load firewood into your car for you. I went on my way home while wearing a suit, heels and formal coat, and the gentleman helping us out would not let me touch a log. Their wood burns very nicely and is the perfect size. There are very few pops and the wood is high quality. We recently relocated to the Boston area, and had purchased wood from another source in NY. This wood is far superior to what we had previously ordered and we plan to order it in bulk next year. Bonus points, this quaint store has nice freshly baked bread, flowers and gourmet goods as well as some staples. Only thing I would recommend is adding some Iggy's baguettes. Cute store with excellent service!

We used to order directly from Thatcher Farms but stopped getting delivery a few years ago. I still like to grab a few from here or the Fruit Center Marketplace in the square every so often. I really enjoy their chocolate milk (they sell Hatchland Farms NH & Thatcher Farms), but today I saw that they had coffee milk too! Thought that was interesting but didn't end up grabbing... I must try it next time ;) Aside from the milks, they also carry popular beverage brands like Polar Seltzer cans, Oatly! Oatmilk, Welch's juices, Newman's Own, Tropicana, etc. They also sell bread, sandwiches, snacks such as cookies and candy, and fresh flowers that are displayed outside! In the fall, they have a bunch of pumpkins for sale & in the winter time, they usually have some Christmas trees you can buy! Very cute place & highly recommend if you're in the area.
