When my partner and I originally decided to invest into documenting our day with video, we wanted to make sure we picked the right videographer to capture everything and create a fun, exciting video that we would love to watch over and over. And, most importantly, we needed a videographer that we trusted so we weren't stressed about video on the day of the wedding. We were SO HAPPY that Emerald Media was available on our wedding date when we reached out to them - we didn't have a backup option in mind! At first my partner was a little bit worried that there would be too many people around us throughout the day (two videographers plus two photographers that we'd also hired) but honestly, Tamara and Lindsay did such a great job of blending into the background that we hardly even noticed them during the wedding and reception. They delivered the social media preview while we were on our honeymoon and we LOVED watching it - over and over! They did a perfect job of capturing the energy of our day. We were so excited to get the rest of our videos: the highlight film as well as the ceremony, toasts, and dances!! They are incredibly friendly but also professional. I think the best part about Jeff and Amanda is that their positive energy is infectious - you can't help but smile when you're around them. This made us much more relaxed during our photo sessions - and it shows in the photos. We did an engagement session before the wedding and we're so glad we did it (I also highly recommend that couples do this so there's less stress on the wedding day). We started the session feeling a bit awkward (posing is hard) but ended up having a blast. The photos were a true representation of us as a couple - they were genuine and beautiful; exactly what we wanted. Since we got all of the awkward posing practice out of the way during our engagement session, our wedding day photos were a breeze. I knew I picked the right photographers when they walked into the venue and I was so excited to see them. They really outdid themselves and the whole experience was a blast. He was happy to help with my task--I didn't actually want to hire a live videographer, I just wanted to pay someone to show me exactly how to create a terrific setup in my home office with tripods and mics and a lighting kit. Not only was Keith game to help, but he gave me loads of free advice on the phone and he was willing to charge a very reasonable rate to come on site and show me how to do everything myself, so I could set things up for a great shot each time I recorded.
