What a cool and cute little store. Vegan, quality products. So many to choose from. First time going here and I was wowed! A little on the pricey side, but worth it for clean ingredients for everyday substances like detergents, soaps, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, deodorant and more. You can bring your own glass containers (I saw a couple people do this and thought it was such a great idea!). The scents of their lotions are also really great. I bought a glass container and filled it with cucumber melon lotion. The lotion isn't oily and doesn't leave a residue. Highly recommend stopping by this place even if you're not into clean products - this store will change your mind!! read more

I would give Mighty Market five stars, but the customer service could have been a little better. The clerk was very quiet and did not have a lot of answers to my questions. That being said, the market itself is amazing. I love the products, the setup, and the overall feel of the store. It is a beautiful start, and the customer service experience would not stop me from coming back. I just think a little more focus on customer service and product knowledge would make this place even better. Overall, great market and definitely worth checking out. read more

Another instance where they are not open per the hours posted. 10:10 am Thursday 5/21... I thought this issue had gotten better... but not so sure! Can't support this MTZ business if you are not open.... read more

I can't believe I am just now reviewing my favorite store in downtown Martinez. I come here at least once a month sometimes more. As of right now my favorite products to get is the lavender hand sanitizer, unscented omega body lotion, orange blossom msm lotion, lemon foam hand soap, lavender body lotion, peppermint foot lotion , a grapefruit conditioner. You can either bring your own bottles to fill up or you can buy a bottle, they also have free containers you could have. They have a great selection of CBD products, drinks in a cold case, new creative things to use in the kitchen, bath bombs, skin care products. I purchased a deodorant here months ago that smells great and does not irritate my armpits. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They even have a online discount portal so make sure you sign up for that. read more

I've been buying my body wash and hand soap from this place. I love the variety of scents they offer and that they don't strip natural oil from my skin after wash. Bring in your container (or you can buy some cute jars or use the recycled jars they have for free). Weigh the container before you decant the product into it. Cute boutique. They also offer cosmetics, though I never bought any item since I have yet to finish whats in my vanity. They also have candles. They also offer kitchen utensils. Parking is street parking. I don't know the rules in Martinez so just read. read more

I go to Mighty Market regularly to help combat plastic use. Favorite items: mouthwash, dental floss refills, dissolving laundry soap concentrate, bulk borax, and dishwasher tablets. I love that I can drop off extra containers for other customers to use or grab a container for myself if I forgot my own. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. read more

It's so wonderful to have a refill store nearby in the East Bay. I've always thought these type of stores would only be in huge cities, but the fact that there is one right in Martínez is a great location. For my first visit, I brought my own glass jars, but there is a corner of the store where they provide donated glass jars that you can take with you. When I was ready to fill up, the sales associate weighed my jar and filled up the container for me. I was the only one getting a refill at the time, so I'm not sure if you would always wait for an associate to help you or if there are any cases where you can weigh and fill it up yourself. My two small jars of conditioner totaled to $4.61. Other items that you can refill include dish and hand soap, detergent, loose leaf tea and more. read more

I'm such a big fan of this business, and I shop at the Lafayette location also. Everything I've bought so far I love, it's become my special treat to myself to stop in once a week or so. I have sensitive skin but both their face cleansers, the willow one and green tea my skin tolerates without any issues and it makes my skin so smooth! I love the tea tree foot cream, and the smell of the rose toner is out of this world. Great for travel are the toothpaste and mouthwash tablets, and the bar shampoo. They also have a liquid mouthwash with a slight scent of clove. Please stop by and support this small business that's trying to make the world a better place, it's a gem. For those of you who are skeptical, ask for samples! read more

It's been a couple of years since I've shopped at Mighty Market, and I'm so happy to say that coming back after so long has re-sparked my commitment to reducing my waste and embracing sustainability. I got to the store a little before closing to grab some hand lotion for my guest bathroom. I bought the grapefruit scented one with a refillable pump bottle and I love it so much! I also grabbed a handful of garbage disposal pods to get rid of gunk and make my kitchen smell good. Very happy with these two purchases and will definitely be back next time for more refillable goodies! read more

A small shop located among many others in downtown Martinez. There are many products to choose from such as soaps, hand sanitizers, lotions, beeswax, laundry detergent, bath and beauty products and many more. It is a place where you can bring your own jars and containers to fill and refill your favorites among their products sold in store. Found this little shop with a mighty impact. They had everything and anything to reduce our footprint on mother earth. From bamboo toothbrushes, charcoal floss, chewable toothpaste, reusable pads (gross - glad I don't need that product anymore - TMI) to refillable items like lotion, handsoap, laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, etc. You can buy their glass containers or bring your own. I do buy some of these items on Amazon but will support this market as often as I can. The prices are comparable. But more expensive than buying plastic or non reusable But that's the cost to be environment friendly! Also customer service was awesome. The young lady who helped us was super friendly! read more

Mighty Market is a zero waste, clean beauty, and bulk refill wonderland! I was most interested in this new addition to Downtown Martinez for the refill station but appreciate the wide variety of products including empty refillable containers (in case you forget to bring your own), solid soaps, dental products, deodorants, bug sprays, home fragrances, household cleaners, beverages, and many other eco-alternatives. (Pssst... If there's ever another shortage on hand sanitizer, this spot has you covered!) I came in specifically for shampoo and hand soap and brought my own recycled containers to fill. An employee kindly pumped the products into the containers for me and was sure to ask how much I needed. My selections were Grapefruit + Bergamot Hand Soap and Grapefruit + Mint Shampoo. The fragrances are delightful. Overall, I had a great first shopping experience in this pristine, relaxing environment and look forward to returning for refills! read more

I found this place on yelp. I call just to verify I could take my own glass jars. They said I could and was told all the hours. When I got there the door was open it felt very welcoming. It's nicely lite inside and organized. The have a lot of things here some that are hard to find. I love how you can buy laundry detergent, shampoo, soap, & lotion by weight and in your own container. Some things are an investment but everything pays for itself within a year. The staff here is so helpful and professional. Beyond happy I found this place I will definitely be returning. read more

What an amazing store! I've been ordering jugs and refilling for years but now I have a place locally where I can bring in my own containers and refill quality hand soap and dish soap. This is a great way to reduce plastic waste! Mighty Market has lots of options for hand soap, body soap, dish soap, and toiletries. You can bring your own containers and follow their easy refill directions or purchase their reasonably priced bottles and pumps. This is my new go to spot for hand soap and dish soap. I highly recommend you give it a try. read more

My daughter is in love with this store. You can pick your own soap, or lotion or conditioner or hand sanitizer or whatever. I mean she is in heaven when we come here. I think she was lured by the smell and then she fell in love with the products. Her most favorite is an all natural lip balm. Ill also admit that its pretty dang good lip balm. Its expensive, but worth it. They have so many uniquely interesting products that are all natural and supporting local manufactures. We try and make a every few month pilgrimage to the store to refill our misc. soap lotion necessities. read more

I LOVE the products I have bought from here! Although with the shelter in place I haven't had a chance to visit the physical store, I've placed two orders that have gotten delivered and I've been so impressed! The quality is amazing and I love how environmentally friendly it is. I've ordered lotion, body wash (both in lavender), reusable cloths and napkins, the SWAG bag (to keep produce longer), hand sanitizer, string bags for farmers markets, face masks and the most amazing cast iron conditioner. The bottles can be given back for a credit as well! Try some of it out! You won't be disappointed! Thank you mighty market! Wonderful addition to my hometown. read more

I absolutely love this company and their products. The ladies that run this business are amazing and have wonderful customer service. I have placed 3 orders and my products are shipped within 24 hours and delivered within 3 business days (I love in Texas). I have a few fave products. 1. Make up eraser - Better than any makeup remover I have every bought. 2. Reusable "paper" towels. I love that i'm not throwing a ton of paper away every day. 3. Clay face mask- I have tried multiple mask, theirs is amazing. My face feels like I have had a facial from a spa. Whether you are into sustainabilty or not, this little gem of a store is a fragrant oasis. It is in Historic Downtown Martinez near the beautiful Marina...there are lots of delicious restaurants, cafes, and unique little shops all around to make this trip a worthwhile destination for a fun and relaxing outing. Mighty Market is wonderful for those unique gifts for those people in your life you don't know what to get. I have found gifts under $10, and also have bought products for myself. Surprisingly very affordable. For women and men, young and old. You can buy safe beauty products, everyday items such as body washes, household cleaners, lotions, eco-friendly lunch containers, eco-brushes and toothbrushes, etc. Everytime I go, there is something new. And everything is beautiful and tastefully presented. What's more, you can bring your own containers to fill, buy giftable containers, or, like me, if you forgot to bring one, there is a little corner of clean donated reusable glass containers that are free. How thoughtful! Any of which can be labelled with the store's logo and product name. You can buy as little or as much as you need, and there are tester samples everywhere so you can be sure of what you are getting. Customer service is caring, kind, and well informed. read more

My favorite stop when I come in to Martinez. We usually spend a Sunday out here, eat and get barrelista coffee, hit the farmers market, and fill up our bottles at Mighty Market. We forgot our laundry detergent jug the other day and they lent us one so we could still fill up. We've switched over almost everything we can at this point, we love the dishwasher pods. We find our laundry and dishes get more clean, and I've found myself saving money as I buy more way less often. I also am running in to target so rarely which leads to significantly less impulsive spending- less plastic. For us it's been a great lifestyle change and I'm so happy they are here. read more

Might Market is fantastic! I recently filled up on Bronner's soap, shampoo, and conditioner and their staff is excellent and super helpful. It also makes you feel great to know you're re-using and re-purposing perfectly good containers. Additionally, I recently bought a reusable v60 coffee sock and they offered to drop it off at my house. I obliged and received it within a day, amazing service! I highly recommend supporting them and helping them stay in business during this tough time. read more
